    Everything I got.

I went here yesterday to try to find some maternity pants because nothing I own fits me right now and I am completely broke. So I figured we better place than the outlets. The lady that rang me up, patted My Bill essentially. I bought a laundry basket full of clothing and then a record or two records in one case. She charged me 8.25 pounds for my laundry basket by itself and an additional 8.25 lbs for the clothes separately. I was over charged nearly $20. Unfortunately, I was in a rush to go to my doctors appointment and I didn't catch it right away. I'm pissed that could've been a whole new maternity wardrobe for me and I know I'm probably never gonna get my money back. I'm a homeless pregnant woman. Disgusting! Do better people! Do better!

Cool place to thrift some unique finds. Bri g gloves, when sorting through the bins you never know what's on the things you touch. The prices are per lbs. Which makes makes it affordable.

I never thought I would ever say this, but I went thrifting on my weekend getaway to Seattle! And guess what? It made for the best time killer before heading to Seattle-Tacoma International Airport for my flight back to Chicago. While in search of a place to park, the parking lot felt very congested because there was a consistent in-and-out flow of customers. It is a different concept here at this Goodwill Outlet. Rather than looking through clothes that are hung up on racks; there are large bins with items scattered all in them. The fun part is digging through the bins in search of something that catches your interest which can take some time. As others pointed out I recommend bringing gloves as well because you never know what you will touch inside those bins. As I dug through the bins I pulled out a number of things from briefs & panties, bras, pants, shoes, blouses, shirts, jackets, shorts, bags, and purses which were by known brands in varied conditions; God knows if it were cleaned or not. I ended up purchasing a distressed ultra high-rise skirt by Hollister which I plan to sell on eBay. As one that loves to sell items on eBay the item was very hard to pass up. An item in great condition like that needs a good home to go to rather than pinned up inside a bin. I also found a cute black & pink windbreaker jacket by Head that I hope to wear for running outside this fall when temperatures are cooler. At this Goodwill Outlet, they price items by how much it weighs in a bin at the register, so I recommend gauging the things you consider by its weight. Yanira, the cashier who rang me up, contributed to the line moving faster as there were a couple registers open. I have to say thank goodness we do not have this concept in Chicago or at least I have not found it because it could easily become addicting. I paid a little over $2 for the windbreaker jacket and the skirt combined which was a total score as a thrifter in my opinion. The fun part for me was squeezing both extra items into my travel bag as I prepared to fly back out to Chicago. All in all a pleasant experience shopping at this Goodwill Outlet. I enjoyed myself as well as felt a sense of being united with fellow thrifters while engaging in this style of thrift. ~Blessings~ Thomas G

This was definitely a surprise stop that we made while we visited Seattle back in June. I have gone to an outlet back in California, near me but it was not setup like this one. At this particular place, almost anything you get from there is based on an appointed price point by pound. Certain items, like furniture were given a specific price, but basically everything else was free for all and what you can scavenge and find while you look through rows and rows of bins. I was surprised that I dug deep to find cool toys, figures and items to add to my ever growing collection of things back home and I even found sand dollars! It gets a bit tricky with going through the bins because you face people that throw things aside to other bins and maybe finding broken items that could cut your finger as you hunt. And people do get aggressive with the things they find as well as in the parking lot in a sense of not caring that they double parked and blocked our car after we checked out and went outside to put our hail in the car. Deifnitely, would want one of these back here in California!

My review is for my experience prior to COVID & safety measures were in place. The Goodwill Outlet is a hidden gem for my thrifters and treasure hunters out there. The experience can be overwhelming as you are digging through bins of clothing shoes, bags, miscellaneous items, etc. Textiles start off at $1.59/lb. I've found brands ranging from Lululemon, Coach, AGL, Vans, Onitsuka, Birkenstock, LongChamp, Tumi, Madewell, etc. It's a hit and miss when it comes to shoes. Sometimes you'll find the only one shoe and have a missing mate. Happy Hunting!

This is a place for real bargains, but you need to be tenacious and fast. Come early when they open at 8 for wares, bric-a-brac, toys, and misc. By 10 out come shoes and luggage then finally clothes. Most things priced by the pound so cashmere is well worth it; jeans not so much After shopping hete, regular Goodwill is too pricey!

Row after row of stuff sold by the pound.

Ask the Community - Seattle Outlet Goodwill

What day do they restock/bring in new stuff?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide a specific day or time in which we restock our shelves. On average, we sort and price over 100,000 unique items for our non profit thrift stores. Every day is like a treasure hunt at Goodwill; you'll never… Read more

Do I need to line up early, before they open?

Yes, you can line up and then get in first. Sometimes they hand out numbers around ~7am or maybe earlier to order the line. However there's so much stuff, getting in first really isn't that big a deal. The sometimes will make an announcement to not… Read more

Does this goodwill have a lot of used electronics?

Hit or miss. Sometimes they will have used amplifiers and stereo components, some boom boxes, microwaves, but no laptops or computers as Goodwill has a new policy to prevent identity theft and all computers cannot be sold with intact hard drives.

This is a well-oiled machine here. Home goods side, with furniture, and for that alone I wish I had a UHAUL truck backed up. My cousin spent $150 and I spent about $75 and we spent about 3 hours there. Easily could have spent all day, but it was a thrifting kind of day, so we hit several stores the same day. Took away a star because they don't allow you to use their restrooms anymore. We would have spent more time and money, but they closed their bathrooms to the public (stupid).

I have to pee into a bottle in my car in their parking lot, it's embarrassing. I used to go there all the time, not now, not one more time, folks. What if Bellevue Square did this? Do you think anyone would go there? Then Seattle Goodwill, like all Goodwills want me to round up extra money at the register for their programs. No way. Piss on it. The other Goodwill in Redmond had to rebuild the restrooms recently, it's a cost of doing business, and they did it, and they put porto potties outside while work was in progress. Not Seattle Goodwill. They are not what they used to be, now hundreds of people have to shop without restrooms of any kind. You know what they can do with their store? It has to do with restrooms. Their top management should all be fired for allowing this to happen. It's Restrooms, not leukemia, they can be fixed. Until they are, I'm avoiding it and letting friends know about it, don't go there without a hazmat bottle in your car and a blanket to hide under.

I went on a holiday where the parking lot was packed with street parking full as well. I didn't see people with loads of things they were buying. For instance, an older genuine leather credit card and checkbook holder (I.e. not a complete wallet) was priced at $20. Used David's Bridal formals at $60-$80. Keep in mind that any used formal will need to be cleaned before wearing, which adds to the price of buying a used dress. David's Bridal sells bridesmaids dresses with two different webpages on their website. Dresses under $100 and Dresses under $70.
