The Outlet Collection in Auburn, Washington -- A Little Piece of My Washington Memories!…read more The first place I ever went when I came to Washington was what they used to call the SuperMall--and now it's the Outlet Collection in Auburn. So this mall holds a special place in my heart! Over the years, things have changed here and there, but there are still some familiar things that make this place special. I have to say, the mall feels more inviting than it did before, and I was so happy to see new stores coming in, lots of shoppers, and plenty of name-brand stores. You can find places like Burlington, Coach, and many other stores, and there are also places where you can grab something to eat or get a quick snack while you're shopping. There was a really nice atmosphere when I visited, and it was wonderful seeing the mall busy and full of people again. Now, I have to mention two things I really miss--the Johnny Rockets and the carousel! Those were some of the things that made going to the mall such a fun experience. Whoever runs this mall, if you're listening, bring that carousel back and bring back Johnny Rockets! I think a lot of us would love it! Other than missing those pieces of the old SuperMall, I absolutely love coming here. It's beautiful, there are lots of stores to explore, and it brings back so many memories for me. The small is not that expensive. I'll definitely be heading back again! Five stars from that Review Lady on Yelp!

The only thing I didn't like about this store is that it is small in comparison to the one at the Seattle Premium Outlet so the selection is very limited. For being in the Super Mall, this location is tiny. They do have a nice size petite section and clearance section. I could easily spend hundreds here. The staff here are very sweet and polite and willing to help you. They can quickly find items you're looking for, different sizes you need, or just general advice. That kind of advice is great when I'm shopping solo. I would pass on the accessories, but other than that, love everything here! I purchased lehenga fabric online and brought it here to be altered for an upcoming event. When I picked it up, the blouse was extremely tight and flattened my chest like a sports bra. After a couple adjustments didn't resolve the issue, I asked if cups I had at home would help, and she said yes. I trusted her, paid, and took it home, only to find the issue was still there. When I returned she shifted the blame to my "cheap factory fabric." If the fabric was a concern, I believe she should have mentioned it when she first accepted it. Instead, she said she "isn't a magician" and couldn't have predicted the issue. Then her solution was to add more fabric to the front but said she couldn't guarantee it would fit or look normal. When I expressed my concerns, she became extremely defensive arguing with me for nearly an hour, calling me dumb, guilt-tripping me about her machine breaking while working on my fabric, and complaining about the quick turnaround time( which she had agreed to). She ultimately refunded the $75 blouse charge but I was still left paying $135 for a skirt I cannot wear without the matching piece.
