Their corporate office was worthless, but the local team and manager Nick took care of us in a fair manner. The shirts we got and the tailored suit looks amazing and they offer lifetime adjustments on the tailored work! PREVIOUS REVIEW: We placed our order just before COVID hit. We purchased a suit and some shirts nearly 90 days ago but none of us expected everything to be shut down. We walked out with the shirts, but the suit needed to be modified. What I am actually disappointed over is their poor customer service given the current state. When you call there is a recording stating they are closed and to go to their website, then it promptly hangs up the call. You go to their website and have to navigate to their store. It says they're closed. Duh. Then I navigate as to who to call at corporate. You finally call and wait for a LONG time. Once you actually get someone, they say they can't do anything to help or give you an assurance that you're going to get your stuff or allow you to return the shirts that were purchased prior to them shutting down. Someone SHOULD be able to answer a question and provide me written assurance, but they have not. Today I go onto Yelp and see there's a service for curbside pickup. Cool, but this is never mentioned anywhere via their website or when you call. And if that service is available, how come they weren't proactive and called to tell us our suit is ready? We just want the product we paid for before the time ends in which I can dispute with my CC company. They can even mail it if they need to. Shouldn't be that difficult. We just need the product and an answer. If they come through with an answer I'll be surprised. Wish I had reviewed them prior to making a purchase as it looks like they offer poor service throughout.

Went at 10:30am on a Monday and it was surprisingly busy. Everyone is coming to check it out. Store employees were super nice. Moderate size store with good selection, but some racks were empty or needed to be refreshed. I don't know if that's because they are short-handed (which they are), or because they haven't had a chance to get to things with the crazy crowds they've had. Either way, I found some items to buy, and will definitely come back.

I had to purchase a pair of dress shoes, and I specifically asked the salesperson when I told her that they were a little tight, but was assured that they would loosen up upon wear and if they didn't, that I could return them. I thought, "that's why I love Nordstrom's." Fast forward two hours, and I had a huge blister on the inside of my big toe. I had to remove the shoes and switch into tennis shoes, which did not match my suit at all. But, I knew I could return the shoes, so I was OK with that. I took the shoes back and was told by a sales clerk and by the manager, "Finn," that I could not return the shoes because they had been worn outside. I explained to her that I specifically asked that when I purchased them earlier and was assured that I could. She said that didn't matter because there were scuffs on the sole of the shoe. I said I would take store credit and she said "aren't you listening, I said we could not take them back." I would avoid this Nordstrom's rack, find another or better yet, just skip them altogether - they are not what they used to be, they do not stand behind their products, and they do not stand behind their word.

I brought Gabriel a designer suit that still didn't feel right after store alterations. He was pretty honest--said the best it could become was a 7/10--and then went to work. He adjusted the shoulders, chest, sleeves, lapels, which required him to move every single button. It was literally a completely different suit. And for the first time, it actually fit the way it should. Since then, I've gone back for five custom suits, multiple shirts, and my favorite, an overcoat (which I'd avoided for years because of off-the-rack fit issues). Every item has come out perfectly tailored. If fit has always been a compromise for you, it's worth seeing what Gabriel can do. Adding some photos, but I'm not a fashion/textiles photographer. I should have read more into the negative ones before using him. A suit to me is an investment and it's really important that tailors take their job professionally. I came in to The Bespoke Clothier after doing some research as I needed a suit altered for an upcoming wedding. I had 2 weeks before the event which I felt was plenty of time for the job. I made an appointment with Gabriel for a consultation to look at the suit and discuss timing and needs for alterations. No real dressing room, just a closet that you can change in. He looked at my suit and made recommendations for the sleeves to be taken in and shortened and pants let out a bit on the waist. I also asked about adding surgeons cuffs with functional buttons. Gabriel mentioned that it's really easy and they do that all the time but they charge per button. Understandable I said and agreed to the pricing. This was Tuesday and was told that the alterations would be complete by Friday. A busy Friday for me meant a pickup on Saturday which would have been perfect as their posted hours on their website says: Saturday 9am-5pm. When I arrived on Saturday to pick up the suit, the lights were out, door locked and a note posted saying "Flexible Hours" this week and to text a number. I texted the number which replied that they would check with Gabriel on timing and they would communicate back to me a time for pickup. No response through Monday evening and by Tuesday at noon, I was getting a little concerned about lack of communication and timing. I decided to call on Tuesday afternoon and Gabriel picked up and told me the suit will be ready by 3pm that day. I arrived at the shop at 3:30pm with the pants ready and the jacket looking disheveled and unfinished with the buttons popped off one of the sleeves and arms way too long. He said he thought I needed the sleeves lengthened and he marked it incorrectly. He said this is an easy and quick job for the jacket and it will be ready tonight. I decided to give him more time to do a good job and said let me pick up tomorrow afternoon. The next afternoon comes and the jacket looked fine but I noticed that the buttons were not functional. He said he didn't take the correct notes and thought I didn't want that even though I was charged extra per button. Again was told that it was an easy job as he does this "all the time" and he would be the one personally making the functioning buttons. Again was told he could do it tonight and I again gave him extra time to do a nice, clean job. The suit was ready with functioning surgeons cuffs but the workmanship was really poor. Also one of the buttons for the interior pocket was missing. The cut and sewing lines were really sloppy looking and the thread for the buttons were not sewing inside the lining, leaving the button thread visible on the cup to lining. I'm not sure if Gabriel just over promises and has to rush through everything but i think he knows better. Overall a stressful situation being almost a week overdue, multiple mistakes and a seemingly rush job to finish. At the initial meeting, Gabriel was also trying to sell me a custom suit which I was seriously considering at the time. Unfortunately this soured my experience and mindset that he would be capable of making a full bespoke suit.

The location was well stocked, chocked full of clearance items as well as the usual items. Staff was super friendly and helped us find exactly what we needed and more! It's definitely a place one could walk in with a hundred dollars and walk out with a cart full of really nice things! My wife normally spends no less than 100$ everytime! I called corp and filed a complaint and was told she could and should have honored the price after explaining the policy and apologizing for the confusion. I called the store, spoke to the same manager (Elani..sp?) explained what I was told by customer service and her reply, "I'm glad you got the information you wanted, but I still not honoring it." I asked for he bosses name (Angela) and when I couod reach her. Apparently, she doesn't know when her boss works and I'm welcome to call back until I get Lucky enough to catch her. Worst experience and I won't be spending a penny of my money there again. Shame, because it was one of my son's favorite stores.
