She then came back and said "it has pecans! Is that bad?" And I said "yes. Kinda bad" Luckily because I only had one bite and then proceeded to chew on a few Benadryl I ended up being okay and my throat and lungs were all back to normal in an hour or so, even if I had to spend my day in bed high on said Benadryl. If I had eaten any more of the sandwich though, I very easily could have ended up in the ER. All that to say - the menu does not make any mention of pecans being in the chicken salad, either in-store or online. Which is strange because tree nuts are disclosed in some of the other menu items. This feels like a bit of an oversight, no? Fellow nut allergy-havers: do you avoid chicken salad altogether? Am I ignorant for not knowing the risk of ordering chicken salad?
