Stopped by again... and yet another 5/5 experience. Blueberry bagel with blueberry spread was simply.. perfection? My full meal (2 bagel sandwiches, blueberry bagel, and a latte) was ready in 5-6 minutes I have no idea why people give this place 1-3 stars. Maybe it's changed in the last 6+ months, or maybe some people are a bit snobby about their bagels. IDK - but if you don't hit this spot, you are missing out.

I might have to change my bio from birthday cake to lavender This is officially stop #2 in the Austin bagel bucketlist. Coming from Atlanta where I had 2 favorite spots, this is a tough bar (proof: I went to Brooklyn Bagel Midtown once a month to get a bite of their perfectly chewy & moist bagels). I might have to standardize my orders to really make fair judgments, but my desire for novelty makes that really hard. I thought it was better than Wholy Bagel but still felt too dry for my preference. The lox schmear was great & combined well with the everything seasoning. Also, they can be more generous with the cream cheese I felt like some sections of my bagel were on thick, others nothing. The cold brew was good too. And you can't beat the lovely location in a public park!

I stopped by Rosen's Bagels in downtown Austin and ordered the everything bagel with scallion cream cheese. The staff was friendly and welcoming, which I appreciated. Unfortunately, the food didn't quite live up to the hype -- the bagel was decent, but nothing that stood out, and overall it felt just okay. I had planned to enjoy my breakfast in the nearby park, but the experience was overshadowed by the number of people loitering and panhandling in the area. It made the space feel uncomfortable and not ideal for relaxing with a meal. There's no doubt Rosen's has loyal fans, but with so many great bagel and breakfast spots in Austin, I'd say there are better options if you're looking for both quality and a comfortable atmosphere.

I was craving bagels this morning so I drove down to Rosen's with my husband. I was looking for something close to the ones I'd get in New York and this place wasn't bad! We got a breakfast bagel with eggs and avocado on a rosemary bagel, while I loved the sunshine sauce and the fillings I didn't love the rosemary bagel that much not sure why it tasted too gingery to me. We also got a cinnamon raisin bagel w cream cheese which was delicious and in true nyc style it was filled a whole tub to cream cheese. I loved the ambience, there were a couple of benches in the little square and some live music. Thanks to my husband we got some street parking, it wasn't too bad to find on a Saturday morning.

Solid bagel! However the star of the show was the white chocolate strawberry latte (not pictured). Would come back for the latte. Quick and nice service. Parking may be hard to find depending on the day.

This was definitely just an okay bagel spot. They didn't seem to have much variety of options on the menu. It's a nice outdoor spot where you order at the counter and they have a couple benches to sit at. I ordered an egg and cheese bagel on jalapeno cheddar. The bagel itself was pretty good was spicy with how many jalapeños it had, which I've never had before in a bagel. It was pretty crowded when we went on the first of the year, but it came out in a timely manner.

Went to the Guad and Lavaca location for the first time. I was excited to find a New York-style bagel place right next to my office. When I went up to the window to order, the guy was short with his words and rude. I asked what he recommended, and he just said, "All good," and that was it. I had hoped he would help me with my selection. I ended up ordering a half dozen plain bagels with plain schmear. When I got them, they were just six bagels still in the store bag -- no toasting or anything. I paid $25 for a bag of six bagels that I could've gotten from HEB. I feel so ripped off.

The attendant was on the phone when I arrived at this walk up shop on the edge of Republic Square Park downtown. I waited for 3 to 5 min while he finished his conversation. I ordered two Rose n Shine breakfast sandwiches $8. You can choose the bagel with egg, type of protein and cheese among other add-ons. I chose the Jalapeno Cheese bagel with bacon and pepper jack cheese. The other was a Parmesan bagel with ham and swiss. I also ordered a hash brown $2. When I got home and opened the hash brown, it was very thin and smaller than McDonald's but tasty. Btw I haven't been to McD in quite awhile but looked up their prices. (OMG hash browns go for $1 to $2.99 or higher in some states.) The sandwich was ok. Bagels in Texas just aren't the same as in the Northeast. Caution: If you are not a fan of garlic, this is in the spread that they put on the sandwich. I did know that they put a garlic mayonnaise on the sandwich. (Not a fan of garlic especially as a surprise) I was so hungry that I ate the Jalapeno Cheese sandwich but I went to return the other one. The attendant said he couldn't take the sandwich back. I asked him to make me another one then. He said throw it in the trash but I opted to give it to a table of homeless people instead. He made me the sandwich but said I should have read the menu (which only says spread) and that he only had a plain bagel left which was highly unlikely. Food was decent, service was sketchy and make sure to ask what the sauces consist of when ordering.

We each got a different bagel. Breakfast one and the pix and we both loved it!

10/10 bagels! Rosens made me a bagel person, they're always super fresh & the best breakfast choice!!

Delicious bagel sandwich! The special sauce they put on the egg sandwich was incredible. We placed an order online and were able to pick it up quickly. Highly recommend, I'll be back again.

I think this place is great for their convenience - right in republic square! it's great for an after farmers market stop on saturday's! bagel wise- i think it's okay! I did like the touch of adding a hash brown right on the bagel, but would point out the the bagel wasn't as fluffy or soft as i expected...being a bit tough to bite into. also, as you can tell, this bagel isn't the most packed bacon or cheese wise and left me desiring more. I did enjoy that they actually included jalapeño slices under the cheddar on the bagel, adding a kick of spice! we got two bagels and a coffee for about $22 if you're wondering prices. i would like to point out how great the staff is though - super friendly and welcoming so props to them! i will definitely come back to re- try their bagels as maybe I just came in on a busy Saturday morning!

Decent NY style bagel a crusty on the outside and soft in the center. I took away a point because they don't sell wheat bagels.

Yuck. Not a good bagel. My husband and I neither even finished half. Not the right texture. Just tasted like flavorless bread.

I can't remember a worse bagel breakfast sandwich that I've eaten. I'd rather be eating at Dunkin Donuts. Holy cow who likes this place?

Cold bagel, not toasted (requested), bready--not crispy outside chewy inside like it should be, more tomato than lox.

They have been operating out of the farmers markets stall at Lakeline and Mueller on weekends, and it's no question they are popular for their New York style bagels, from their constant long lines. Their bagels are made fresh with a thin crackly crust, lightly chewy interior, and perfect crumb. I like to order mine with their housemade cream cheese (scallion is my preference) and fresh smoked salmon. They also plan to expand their menu now that they have a trailer. It was also great to be able to order through QR code and not have to wait in the lines you would normally expect from them in their farmers markets stall. The space at Lustre Pearl is also fantastic with plenty of seating. They have a parking lot as well.

The service is always friendly. They're just the nicest couple. Sesame and scallion cream cheese is my go to. But their jalapeño is really good too. They toast the bagel, and smear on a thick layer of cream cheese. So good! The line to order isn't too long. Today I was 3rd in line, but it was 9am, I'm sure it gets busier later in the morning. This is an outside farmers market. So dress for the weather.

Recently I was here before catching a show down the street a major music venue. I had my ride share drop me off here at Halcyon for some pre-game drinks before my show. I sat at the bar as I had a beer and shot combo and watched folks enjoying conversation with their friends and even saw a cool sharing smore-like plate that came out for a group sitting in the booths.
