Chive dumpling
Anshita S.

Tried Little Spoon Thai Kitchen for the first time and it was just okay overall. The veggie dumplings were fine, but the chive dumplings were way too oily and not very appetizing. The Kao Soi had potential but was overpowered by one strong herb -- maybe lemongrass -- so it was hard to taste or smell much else. The lo mein was fine, very mild in flavor, which actually worked well for little kids but felt a bit bland for adults. Not a bad meal, but nothing that stood out enough to make me want to go back soon.

I love Little Spoon for delicious Thai food every time. Takeout portions are generous, as are dine-in portions. Service is friendly and prompt.

I truly enjoyed my meal here today. Great duck pad Thai. The wings were well done too and tasty. My second time here and I think this place is very nice. Fantastic ambiance. The customer service was good but the waitress kept giving me looks of anger for asking for little things like sauce and chopsticks. I tipped her well to make up for annoying her. The peanut sauce on that note, is really really delicious.. I found myself dipping wings in it ... The curry is amazing too. Oh; and the iced Tea is a work of art.

3.5-4/5 decent Thai restaurant for the area location. Tried their Kao Sai Beef dish, beef was slightly overcooked and the noodles were as well but the flavor is good. The wings were delicious. The pork dumplings were lightly pan fried and tasted great. The spicy eggplant was more on the spicy side so thank Goodness it came with rice. Great location with street parking and nice service and decor.

A very pretty restaurant and the utensils/plates used are adorable. The dishes themselves were pretty yummy, although the appetizer was alright (a little overpriced for what we got). I enjoyed the veggies in my pad thai, normally I don't like carrots but the way they cooked had it full of the pad thai flavor.

Black & Pepper Fish

This place is a nice spot in Needham. The staff are always friendly and I'm never disappointed by the food. I got the Black & Pepper fish, which is basically a battered fried fish stirfry. The fish was cooked well, but the star of the dish are the fresh peppercorns; they pop and add a vibrancy to the plate that I haven't found elsewhere in Boston so far. We also got 2 Thai ice teas, and got 2 free popsicles with them. We'll be back!

Little spoon is an absolute pleasure! Yummy food, nice atmosphere. Be aware they do get busy and it can be hard to get in and service does slow when they get busier. Try a Thai iced tea popsicle w ur Thai ice tea!

Drunken noodles with tofu

I've gotten takeout from here before but dined in the restaurant for the first time last night. I love the decor and ambiance and with the back room, it's a lot more spacious than it appears. The waitress was very prompt and friendly. I appreciated how the menu was clearly labeled with what's vegan/can be made vegan. We started with the tom kha soup which was creamy and rich and flavor. We also got the scallion pancakes as a starter and I love how they aren't dripping in oil but are still tasty. I also enjoyed the drunken noodles with tofu and the yellow curry with tofu. Both were spicy but not overly hot. I also love how they fried the tofu in both these dishes. I will definitely be back!

Overall, the food was all right had better Thai, buT OUR SERVER WAS DISRESPECTFUL AND OUT OF LINE! Food filled the craving a little bit. The presentation was cute for the food we also had to appetizers before which I didn't take a photo of. The atmosphere was cute. Went on a Sunday near one not really that busy just another group in one corner and then me and my husband and another. Ordering was fine but the only reason why I'm giving two stars now is the woman that I've highlighted in one of the pictures. Upon paying for the bill, we asked to split it two way between me and my husband that seems a little bit of an issue, but she did it, but once there was no tip from my husband she kept saying "you know that charge didn't included a tip yeah" we said we know. And she kept insinuating for my husband to press the 15% tip on A $67 bill charge for food. My husband looked uncomfortable, so when it was my turn to pay my side of the bill and I didn't tip either because she kept insinuating for us to put in the tip before we even started paying much she flipped out and stated. " so no tip then no future service. only takeout." we were beyond confused as to why she was flipping out, but I definitely didn't tip after that. I hadn't even finished paying for the rest of the bill by the time that she was fuming. I said sorry I don't usually tip when waiters don't check up on us regularly or at all which she didn't and barely even spoke to us that got her more mad and then she started cussing at me and when I'm gonna guess is either Mandarin or something else because of her accent. I said it to her that she didn't have to be disrespectful and pushy to which she said something that I didn't really understand, but was very aggressive. I said "no don't get aggressive with us." She did so even more and we left. Overall wouldn't come back.

Little Spoon is such a lovely Thai restaurant. A delightful atmosphere and solid Thai food, sometimes a bit too salty but otherwise fantastic!! Anything I have had here is to die for, specifically the Pad Thai. Service is always up to par and my most recent experience was very efficient. And if you are looking for a little sweet treat, I highly recommend the Thai iced tea with a popsicle!!

Food is great but take out for just a couple items took over an hour. I would recommend dining in.

Very solid Thai food, great for the Boston suburbs. The coconut shrimp and crispy mango chicken were particularly good.

There wasn't a strong ginger or garlic essence like I'm used to in a Thai brown gravy. My friends seemed happy with their curries though...so maybe I just ordered wrong. On Sunday, they have a very strong takeout business, which also impacted the ambience. At one point there were like six people waiting in line at the entrance. In such a small establishment, it changes the vibe to have people hovering and getting impatient and clarifying orders, with the frequent entrance/exit of new patrons. Our table was closest to the entrance so we probably "felt" it more than other tables would have. Still, for the "mom's night out" space that we were cultivating, I would've preferred to pay more to go someplace that had less of a takeout vibe. Note: there is only one all-gender restroom and it is for customer use only. Free parking out front.

The chicken pad Thai was very good yet I wish the chicken had been cut into smaller pieces and it felt a bit overcooked. I missed the lime piece too. Still very good. Loved the Thai iced tea. Not too sweet. I would order from here again especially as the portions were quite healthy! I appreciated a good takeout dinner.

Indeed the interior is not large at all, but still comfortable and with some truly beautiful decorations all around, especially the whole wall in front of where I was sitting, pictures below. I really loved that wallpaper and would totally put that in my house somewhere! But on to the food, it was truly excellent and very authentic. We ordered the stir-fried rice noodles with beef, similar to one of my favorite dishes, Beef Chow Foon, which was hot, fresh, and full of flavor. We also had the wonderful lamb skewers and tried the soupy pork buns with crab meat, a special and comforting dumpling dish. House of Noodles is a noteworthy place and one I'll happily visit again!

The hot and sour noodles were decent but not as sour as i expected. Still comforting and filling and I'd order it again as the price is quite fair. They have an extensive menu and I'm curious to try more of their food.

It's a local institution for classic Chinese and American Chinese dishes, consistently drawing in regulars for both dine-in and takeout. We usually order takeout and get a wide range of their dishes. The food can be a bit on the oily side, though not overwhelmingly so, it's pretty standard for the cuisine. Our typical order includes the fried squid, various noodles, and vegetable dishes. The General Tso's Chicken has a reliably good, sweet-and-spicy taste to it, and the stir-fried udon is always a solid choice. The fried calamari stands out as being prepared a bit differently than at other Chinese spots, but it still has a good flavor.
