This is my go to for Mexican food in Longview. I've been going to this restaurant for longer than I can remember, they have changed locations 3 times but they have the same great food. First off we got sat after standing up front for 10 min and no one was willing to seat is. Some short Hispanic kid was too busy on his phone. So after we got sat we both got water and noticed some super small amount of green mold on one of the Lemon. So we got a fresh water and ordered our food and we sat there 27 min and still no food asked about it and she came back saying they were having issues with their cooks and understanding tickets. Ok so we just got our food Togo and got it home and it was the wrong food. Will never go back to this place ever. Several other table had issues the same night! I have given this place 3 chances.. Today was an absolute abomination and a slight against god. I thought I was making the safest option by ordering two sopes, the equivalent of constructing an open faced taco.. let's start with the avocado.. it was black. Blacker than Bernie Mac. Next, the queso "un-fresco".. it was harder and more yellow than the Yakuza. The lettuce was slimy and felt like freshly harvested seaweed. The actual base of the sope, aka SOPE, was something I could easily play frisbee golf with on the weekend. I threw it against the wall like a Kyle and it actually made an indentation. The only thing left to consume was my guilt and the actual meat.. chicharrón. Or chichaWRONG.. This is, by far, my favorite Tex-Mex restaurant in Longview. I am new to the area, and finding this place made my taste buds sing. The service was fantastic, the food was delish. Oh, and that white queso though... Also the sopapillas at the end was possibly the best part (aside from the extremely well made, presented, and adequately alcohol filled, pina coladas). :P Our server was fun, attentive, and very good with my kids. They didn't get bored, despite us grown ups (or at least me) being engrossed in our food and drink. The restaurant was clean of course, and it was one of the rare occasions that my picky ordering didn't cause my entree to be sent back or make me power through it despite it being insufficiently made to my satisfaction. I grew up in SoCal which is supposed to be the Mecca of Mexican food, but I can honestly say that Little Mexico has some of the best Mexican food I've had in my life. The atmosphere of the restaurant, the food, the friendly staff, it was honestly just a great experience all around. The only flaw I can think of was that there were TOO MANY choices!! I have never in my 25 years of life seen a menu with that many choices, which definitely isn't a bad flaw to have. My husband and i ordered the fajitas for us both, and i also ordered the chicken street tacos. Ahhhhhhmazing. I'm so glad I found this little underrated hidden gem and I can't wait to go through every item on the menu, because I'm sure it would all be great. read more

I was pretty disappointed with the food. I prefer shredded beef in my tacos and enchiladas, but they didn't even know what I was asking. So, I ordered my enchiladas with shredded chicken and they used canned chicken, and they weren't even cooked. It looked like they had rolled the meat in a tortilla, then just covered it in cheese. Also ordered my food with cheese on top, expecting shredded cheese or cotija cheese, instead what I was served was food covered with canned cheese (like Velveeta). I saw some other items being served and they looked much more appetizing. So,. I suspect not everything is bad there. The service is good, very quick. And, the sopapillas were tasty. read more

Best place in Longview for authentic Mexican food - Bar none! If u want Tex Mex this is not the place. Authentic street tacos de tripa crunchy and soooo good. If you like real Mexican rellanos they have both kinds u must specify! Fresh ceviche, we come here often however this is a real Mexican restaurant not a Tex Mex. This is one of our favorite regular spots in Longview for many reasons. The parking lot creates the illusion of a crowded restaurant, but once you get inside there are always tons of booths available. Our servers are always prompt and attentive, and even when the food is wrong, it is still better than the best thing served at Fuzzys. read more

Since we are relatively new to the area, I asked on Facebook for recommendations. We were happy to have followed this one. We arrived at 6:30 on a Saturday, it was respectfully busy and we were immediately seated. When we were leaving at 7:30 there were many waiting to be seated. I had the La Bamba with the combination of chicken and beef meats smothered under white queso while the wife ordered the chicken chimichangas. The food was plentiful and the only criticism was that the wife prefers her meat to be shredded instead of diced. The drinks, chips and salsa were refreshed during the course of the meal. The owner seated us, took our orders and delivered them and asked if we were happy during our meal. We both had to have a to go box. We enjoyed the sopapilla to finish off the meal. The prices were moderate. We will definitely be back and highly recommend this restaurant. We were impressed with the decor, especially since this restaurant has moved from location to location in the past, they have been here on Judson since 2020. The parking is very good since it is in a strip mall. We prefer that our restaurants are small locally owned instead of chain restaurants. I love their shrimp cocktail Mexican style. I ordered it today and ask them to put fewer jalapeños so it would not be so hot. So, as to my wishes they doubled the jalapeños and left the seeds in as well. Now EVERY bite is a mouthful of pure unadulterated heat. So hot you cannot enjoy the cocktail at all. I should've known that this place was a little sketchy when I looked on the waiting bench and saw a picture of a human sacrifice. Literally waited on my food for 45 minutes...when the food came out they served half the party, then went and served another table...ten minutes later the other half of our party was served. This is my family's go to place for awesome Mexican food. We have just about tried everything on the menu and have never been disappointed.

I really like this restaurant and hope they can make it in this location. That being said, I had a very disappointing lunch. I arrived at 1:00... after the lunch rush. I ordered fajitas. What do you think of when you think of fajitas? That sizzle! And the smells of the beef and marinade. It was totally absent. The pan was hot, but the beef was lukewarm. The chips looked like I got the leftovers from the bottom of the bin. And for some reason the server kept filling my tea glass with ice and just a splash of tea until I asked for just tea. I will definitely come back. But THIS experience was a big disappointment. read more
