Good, serviceable Tex-Mex. Came in around 1 PM with 8 people and were seated immediately. Ambiance was standard and service was the star. Our server was very attentive, helpful and patient with our large party. Come try it out for good Tex-Mex.

Waitress was clueless. Manager and waitress asked for clarification of order multiple times and STILL did not get it right. Horrible. Not even decent by Tex mex standards

I love this place the food is always great. Both Texmex and some more authentic Mexican dishes. The staff is always great as well.

Food was pretty good. Green sauce is amazing. Artwork is very edgy lol. Not as crowded as Papacitos but then again I didn't have to sit in the the middle of 100 people either.

Will definitely run not walk here when I'm visiting the family again! Always have to stop and grab some Tex Mex while I'm in Texas! Just something you have to do off GP! I couldn't decide what I wanted so I went with an old faithful combo that's usually is never a miss. I can't remember the name of the combo that was listed on the menu but it consisted of: 1-cheese and 1-chili cheese enchiladas; hard beef taco supreme; rice and beans. I also added a side of the "supreme mix" which consisted of lettuce, guacamole, cheese, and Pico de Gallo. After adding those additions and throwing in some of those nice slightly salted and crispy chips it was like I was having nachos plus more! Very good couldn't even eat all so took the rest home for later. The mango margarita was really good and feeling. Probably what made me so full I couldn't finish all my food. Will be back when I'm the area to try more on the menu..

The location on the Loop across from The Longview Mall. Service lacked attention. Food was ok.

This was a stop on my business trip. The food was good. I had their enchiladas. There was plenty of food. The meal itself was great.

Great food. Amazing service. Salsa was full of flavor with just the right amount of heat. Avocado salsa...really? So good!

We didn't, we got it from here. We ordered and had an estimate of 5:35 PM. Upon arriving, one of the staff working To Go asked what I was waiting for and I told her we were early, gave our last name and she took note. This was shortly after 5 PM. I got a good tip ready, as I expected she would be tracking this order. 5:50 PM, my wife tried calling 3 times and no answer. I went inside. no one acknowledged me. Given there were so few people there, I don't understand why they can't answer the phone when my wife called 3 times, but can stand around texting on their own phones. The cleanliness was lacking, even in the unoccupied section. I would expect with so many staff and so few customers, someone could have picked up a little. I went to the front and mentioned the issue. I finally did get my order. I made sure all containers were there but my wife didn't mention the chocolate milk, so that was a loss. Unfortunately, I didn't open all containers to see the incorrect contents. I lost about an hour here. I didn't even get an apology for taking double the time I was told. They truly do not care! If someone in Austin pays attention, you need to get an on site manager. Given so many paid staff doing nothing, fire most and start over. Better to regain your reputation at a temporary expense. Review camera footage. It backs up time hacks and lazy employees. Chuy's has been around literally decades. I hate seeing it dragged through the mud for one rogue location. We will give this location another try in case it was a fluke. Taking my son to the ER was a better experience than this place. t would be funnier if it wasn't true. PS - I don't care about sorry for my poor experience, etc. Fix the problem. Make it good again.

It took 50 minutes just to get our appetizers and the margaritas we ordered. After that, the wait only got worse. At 9:10 PM, we finally received 3 out of the 4 dishes we ordered. We didn't want our food to get cold, so we went ahead and started eating. We actually finished our meals before the last dish even came out -- and then it suddenly showed up after we were already done. Waiting that long for food, getting meals at completely different times, and having such slow service made this a really frustrating experience. I'm beyond disappointed. The only good part of the night was thinking the short wait for a table meant we'd have a good evening... but that definitely wasn't the case. Really hoping this was just a bad night, but this experience makes it hard to want to come back.

El Sombrero - ¡Muy Bueno!…read more What an incredible find! We're big fans of carnitas, and for years our favorite was Mercado Juarez in Arlington, Texas--we hadn't found anything that even came close after moving to East Texas five years ago. That changed tonight. We decided to try El Sombrero, and the carnitas were absolutely outstanding--honestly, even better than Mercado Juarez! The flavor, tenderness, and overall quality were just amazing. We can't say enough good things about this place. It's safe to say we've officially found our go-to Mexican restaurant in East Texas!
