Ok Little Caesar's... what a joke of a restaurant here In Ridgecrest. To start off, it was lunchtime placed an order online for two pizzas, one sticks and slices and one stuffed crust pepperoni. About 30 minutes later, it was updating saying our order would be delivered in about 10 minutes and then all of a sudden I got a message saying it had been canceled , but on my end it showed that the pizza should be coming out of the oven already. I called to ask what happened and they said they ran out of stuffed crust pizza. I asked if they could substitute something so I could still feed my family lunch. The kid on the phone was no help so I asked if I could speak with the manager. Some guy gets on the phone and he doesn't say anything but, "yeah." So I ask, are you the manager? He says yes I said can I have your name? He mumbled something very low under his breath and I said excuse me can I have your name please and again he mumbled something under his breath. I said I don't think you're the actual manager can I please have your Manager's number? He said he is the manager and they don't give out other numbers. I told him the situation and he said they were out of stuffed crust so they canceled the whole order. And I was told my refund wouldn't be back in my account for 16 days minimum!!! I asked him if they could go ahead and keep the money and just substitute a different pizza so I could still feed my family lunch and he told me I'm not giving you anything for free! I said I didn't ask for anything for free. You can keep the money I paid already and just substitute a different pizza that will be fine. Because we've already been waiting 40 minutes and I need to feed my family and you've taken my money now and I won't get it back for a few weeks, but you can go ahead and keep the money. Just send out the two pizzas. Again, he got more angry and almost shouted "I'm not giving you anything for free!" so at this point, I was getting upset as well. I said, I never asked for anything for free. I just want what I've paid for. Again, I asked for his supervisor's phone number or the district manager or somebody and he refused again saying he doesn't give out their phone numbers. I plainly see why not because he is a horrible manager with no people skills, no managerial skills and just a rude human being. I have to assume that there is no way this person could actually be a manager there, but if little Caesars is hiring people like this no wonder their wait times are over an hour for every pizza. hire incompetent people, get an incompetent crew... We ordered about 2 months ago online. Waited about 45 minutes. Went picking up and the older male employee, was not greeting anyone, running around stressed. People were waiting. When I asked for my order, he said it was canceled so they didn't have all the ingredients. I said how come I didn't get an email or a call. He exclaims, we don't have your phone number. He printed out my receipt to show it was fancied and not charged. Lo and behold there was my phone number on the receipt. I called spoke to the manager as he made me feel like belittled and o well. She did give out next order for free and it was good. We've went back 2 times and the food has been maybe 3 out of 5. But the crazy puffs is what saved the orders because they have been good. Not tonight... Tonight I ordered a pizza and all 3 of the crazy puffs. We got home, absolutely no sauce on all of them. I might have saw a small bit on a few, they were dry. My son never complains. He asked where was the sauce. I called in and asked why no sauce was put in. He said the bacon does not come with sauce. I looked up the description and it does. He said I personally made your order and put space on the cheese and pepperoni. I said no there wasn't. He argued. I said I can bring the cheese ones back and show you. He got snippy and said we can't take food back, I said no I want to show you. He offered no apologies or no let me make that up to you. He basically hung up with no resolution. Just want to point out I've always have known for Little Caesars to have pizzas ready to go....with that said every time I've tried to just do a grab and go at this place they never have it available and it's always a 12-20min wait. I never knew LC was a Detroit based pizza chain...so when I lived in Michigan for several years, this was a great option to get cheap pizza. For the most part, I feel like most chains have a consistent taste all across the board, but for me, the LC here and Michigan taste different. The regular $5 medium pizza at this location taste similar to a frozen pizza to me. But what I do like is the Italian cheese bread and the deep dish pepperoni pizza. Love there pizza. Order online and the food is kept warm in a small oven. They give you a code to open the oven and the pizza is always ready when you arrive. They don't have indoor eating places, it's strictly take out. The prices are very reasonable. Also you can walk in and they have pizzas pre-cooked and you just go in and pick it up. I thought I'd get a good meal for a good price, so I ordered delivery. But what I ended up with was the worst pizza, the worst crazy bread and the worst wings. The Hawaiian pizza had very little sauce and a sprinkle of cheese, spotty pineapple so tough it was like chewing shoe leather. And the ham looked like sliced lunch meat, and tasted like old chewy lunch meat. The crazy bread was as tough as the pineapple. The wings, so old, I couldn't bite through the meat, they were disgusting. And the price, was outrageous. They wanted a delivery charge, then a service fee, and then a tip on top of it at 18%. The pizza was so bad I threw it away, followed by the wings, and then the crazy bread. I wonder when was the last time the place was inspected. 4 Stars in comparison to other Little Caesar's locations, not other pizza joints. Look we should all know what to expect from Little Caesar's by now, they are to pizza what Taco Bell is to Mexican food, fast, affordable, tasty, but not necessarily authentic or the best quality. This location is clean compared to other Little Caesar's I have been to. They typically have what I want ready to go, and I don't have to wait. Sometimes Little Caesar's can be hit and miss for freshness of product, but these guys are pretty on point. They are good about parm/peppers/plates etc when you need them. read more
