This is the original Little Caesars restaurant. Hidden on Balfe Street in the shadow of the Westbury Hotel it is certainly better value for money anyway than its Hotel neighbour.
I have been lucky enough to be a patron of Little Caesars since it opened its doors in '91. The place still packs them in, why? Because the food is great, not at all a rip off, the wine menu is very good, lunch specials cheap for the quality of food and filling, and the staff and service is fantastic.
The restaurant is broken into an intimate up stairs and a never ending down stairs. Perfect for a date, or perfect for an army. The Filetto Flambese is may recommendation, (no need for a started, and you have an eating disorder if you manage dessert with this ;) ) BBQesq Beef enjoyed with a glass of house red, coming under €25
It has been a few months since I went for lunch in little Caesars. My last lunch was spaghetti Bolognese, garlic bread and a coke, which set be back less than €12, not too bad, well worth it, you are in the city centre so for €12 or so lunch perhaps there is better value to be found, great portions all the same. That is pretty much the only comment approximating negativity I can think of for this Italian city centre institute. If you want Italian in town, this would be my recommendation and first choice. read more
