Then we got seated, and right above our table was Fred Taylor's Florida Gators jersey along with a picture of the Swamp. All three of us at the table were Jacksonville guys, so between the Jags gear and the Gators tie-in, it felt like home before we'd even ordered. We all got the wings, and they were excellent. This place oven roasts them first, then fries to crisp up the skin, no breading involved, and that combination does something special to the flavor. Best wings I've had in a while. One of my buddies also ordered a margarita and said it was excellent. Service was great throughout, and the price landed right in that sweet spot, not cheap, but not expensive for what we got either. Fair value across the board. If you're ever in Franklin and want a spot that feels like home even when you're hundreds of miles from it, this is the place.
