    Pizza Philly with seasoned fries
    Heather P.

Wow! That was tasty! Classic Philly was delicious with the seasoned fries; pizza Philly was "the best Philly I've ever had" (said a friend who came with us), and the Reuben was every bit as amazing! The staff is friendly, quick, and was super patient while we tried to decide. We will totally be back!! Easy to find! Clean.

Whole Original Cheesesteak with Wiz, onions, and red peppers

Have been to South of Philly twice now and I will say I will continue to come back. I have never had any issues when ordering from here. Each time I have ordered online during the week and reach time I have arrived (normally early) my food quickly comes out. Each time I was here the food has been amazing. My go to is a full cheesesteak with wiz, onions, and red peppers. I will say as well I have never had a need to get extra cheese since there is plenty on each cheesesteak. The fries are also very good. They are the double battered kind which are one of my favorites and they were still crispy after picking up and coming home. My wife got the Chicken Bacon Ranch Philly which I was luck enough to snag a bite of and it was also delicious. The only thing that didn't blow us out of the water were the Mac N Cheese Bites. They were good but not the best I have had. I will continue to come back each time I am in town.

Boneless wings, mac n cheese bites, philly sandwiches, and lemon pepper wings! YUM!

We were in Bryson City for the weekend and stumbled upon their food truck. It did not disappoint!! We started with the mac n cheese bites (make sure you ask for marinara to dip) and they were delicious! The boneless wings were the best I've ever had and I DON'T say that lightly. Huge boneless wing eater here. Phillies were amazing as well. Don't skip out on this place! Great food and owners!

I've been trying to find an authentic Philly cheese steak for nearly the entire thirty years since moving South... my search continues. Pros: I saw the fresh meat being cut. Good portion size on their cheese steak, no need to pay for extra meat or cheese Fast, served table side. Self serve beverages (Pepsi product, sweet and unsweetened tea) Cons: No welcome greeting, no departure come again; didn't feel welcomed... College kids could be under a lot of pressure, who knows, could be testing period. Sandwich was a bit salty, could have been from the Cheese whiz, or it could have been my old tongue not liking salt any more. Can't blame it on South of Philly, if you're sensitive to salt, select a different cheese. Again, plenty if meat, could have used more peppers, onions and mushrooms. The pros outweigh the cons so I will give another try, next time without the canned cheese and go for the provolone. .

Ok so the food...... AMAZING. I talked to the Owner Ally and she was super sweet lady. This place has great wings and phillys for sure. If you had a 10 star option I would put it up here for sure.

Vegetarian, loaded cheesesteak and cheesy fries

Visiting during Mother's Day and celebrated with a vegetarian (mushroom based protein) cheese steak and cheese fries. I'm not a vegetarian but I'm trying to eat healthier and I didn't miss the meat with this delicious sandwich. Bread was soft and fries were crispy

Food was $40 for two people. Staff was rude, acted like the customers were such an inconvenience. All of this for a mediocre Philly.

The restaurant is very cute and rustic, giving a nice classy feel. We got the French onion soup and fried mushrooms. The soup was a solid classic and the mushrooms were crispy on the outside and juicy and soft on the inside. I don't think that the boots sauce was the right combo with the mushrooms, only because even a small amount of the sauce overpowered all of the flavor. We split the country fried steak with a loaded baked potato and the creamed spinach. All three things were absolutely excellent and tasted home cooked. We got an Apple baked crisp with ice cream on it for dessert. It was baked to order, but was a little too overpowering with the cinnamon. Kind of felt like we were eating a straight up cinnamon sticks, it was almost bitter. The apple slices in it were nice and soft though.

We both had a couple of Southern Old Fashioned's that were great but I gotta tell ya' that ribeye steak is out of this world. Simply prepared to let the quality of the meat shine through. Massive cut/ took at least half of it home with me along with half of the baked fully loaded backed potato. Not cheap, but the value of the meal is absolutely there. Check it out and enjoy!

Inky's Philly Cheesesteak in Easley, SC, delivers a fantastic take on a regional favorite…read more Located at the base of The Silos--where several food trucks ply their specialties--Inky's stands out as a spacious, comfortable spot with large booths that invite you to settle in... and maybe stay a while. High ceiling, lots of wood paneling, very vintage while still feeling up to date. The menu includes burgers, deli-style hoagies, and salads, but let's be honest: the cheesesteak is why you showed up--and it's good enough to keep you coming back. There's some real history behind the name. Albert "Inky" Harris ran the first cheesesteak and hoagie shop in Philadelphia back in the 1940s, and the current grandchildren owners carry that legacy forward. Whether every detail has been perfectly preserved or lovingly remembered, one thing is certain: they source their white American cheese from Philly, and the result feels authentic. And that makes all the difference. The fresh-baked Liscio's rolls are huge--soft and warm on the inside, with a firm, crusty on the outside. Like me... on a good day. Inside, finely chopped steak, peppers, onions, and that perfectly melted white American cheese are blended together, so every bite delivers a balanced, satisfying hit of flavor. No "all onions in one bite, no meat in the next" surprises--just consistent harmony. And the star of the show? Certified Angus ribeye. No shortcuts. No skimping. No regrets. Sandwiches come in 7", 12", or the "I wish I was still in college" 18" option--because sometimes restraint is overrated. My wife and I split the Colossal. The meals are served on trendy paper-toppped metsl trays. The staff and management go out of their way to make you feel welcome and walk you through all the options. Sides round out the experience with plenty of choices: fries, tater tots, onion rings, pasta salad, fried mushrooms (hello, childhood), and a standout option--house-made chips, sliced and fried fresh and disappearing faster than your willpower. Bottom line: If you're craving a true Philly-style cheesesteak without leaving the Upstate, Inky's is absolutely worth the stop. Just don't plan on eating light... or sharing. The Authentic Philly Cheese Steak. Is that one word or two? According to the menu it is…read more"Cheesesteaks", which auto correct doesn't like, but there it is. Rainy-ish Thursday December night at about midnight, or really 6:00PM but as dark and rainy as it was, it felt like midnight, the crowd had not hit yet but was trickling in. I found the opportunity to hit up Inky's going to a Clemson graduation party from Greenville. Good timing. No wait seating. Allowed to get a beer from next door, craft beers from Silos Brewing. Ordered the authentic standard 12 inch Philly with the Cooper cheese option, no additions because we are playing the authenticity game. Which is in itself a bit of an argument since a few "authentic" cheesesteaks in Philly swear by Cheese Whiz as authentic. Cheese Whiz is not an option, but provolone or American and Cooper are options. This is otherwise certified Angus beef ribeye, sliced super thin and incorporated on the grill with onions and the cheese into one homogeneous filling of authenticity. Also, the roll is the authentic Italian style from Liscio's Bakery - softer and chewier. I am not sure if it is a Liscio style or if they actually import these, but they are the real deal for texture and flavor. So, all that is fantastic. My only beef with the authenticity is just that....the beef. Not specifically the beef quality, but the beef quantity. The Philly Cheesesteaks I have had (in Philly) usually have a higher beef to bread ratio than my experience here. Could just be the chef for this one, but it seemed that my experience has been beef almost overflowing the hoagie bread. With that said, this is a fantastic and mouth watering sandwich. Not dry. Steaming hot. Came out very quickly. Made to order. Priced at $14.25 with tax comes to $15.53. I would say that coupled with the Silos experience, this is a destination worthy sandwich. If the restaurant keeps it this way, still worth it, but I wish there were an option to pay $2 more, for example, for 1.5X meat and it would be perfect. Oh, and maybe add the Cheese Whiz option for that side of town.

I was there at an odd time so me and Valé had some excellent conversations. He definitely cares about his customers. For the Chicken Parmesan and pasta, I finished the whole thing. No problem. Tasty sauce. The bread was good and many might love it but I prefer traditional Italian bread. This is subjective. For the wine, I usually don't care about what kind of red wine I'm drinking but that was the best red wine I have ever had. It's called Montepulciano-D'Abruzzo. That's a lot of letters I'm not used to typing. I mean, I'm used to the letters but not in that order. Let's just call it Monte. This was a great meal and the vibe was incredibly warm.
