    Will never use litehouse for pool opening again. Inexperienced technicians and rude manager.

He agreed to remove and replace the…read moreconcrete around my pool, including putting concrete under the pool steps, install new piping, repair the pool steel walls as necessary, install a salt system, install a new liner and a new winter cover. All of this was to be accomplished during the month of September, 2022. Since the vinyl liner and the winter cover were unique to my pool he required me to pay up front for those items a total around $7,000. Tearing out the concrete and replacing the lines happened quickly. Then there was supposedly a "concrete" shortage and we waited about 2 weeks for the concrete. The concrete was installed in early October, 2022. He told me several times he had the new liner and the new winter cover. It was now mid October and time to tear out the old liner, make wall repairs and install a new liner. The weather started getting cooler and we needed a few days of warm weather to complete the project and we especially needed warm weather to install the new vinyl liner. Short story the completion of the project was postponed until the Spring of 2023 however Robert told us we would be the first job in the Spring. We go to Florida in the Winter so I asked Robert to deliver the liner and winter cover and store them in my garage. I was always nervous that he did not have the merchandise. He agreed to deliver the products and then a couple days later suddenly he got Covid and could not deliver the products that we paid for. So we left for Florida. He did however agree to install the winter cover. That never happened. May, 2023 arrives and Robert had another pool job that had to be completed first but we would be next as soon a that pool was completed. Well Robert or his crew stopped by and did a little work and then disappeared for a week and this went on and on. We had hoped to be in the pool by Memorial Day. He then promised the rebuild would be completed by July 4th. Now a few days before July 4th he calls and informs me that he has to do more extensive work on one section of the pool wall and it would cost an additional around $5000 or so. He said he could not start the work for two weeks (mid July) but then he would have it completed by a date in late July. Robert then said I could sign a new contract with him or hire a new contractor. Well we hired a new contractor and Robert agreed to deliver the winter cover and to refund me for the liner saying he could use the liner for another customer. That is just baloney because no one else has a pool that is the exact size and configuration as my pool. Well he never delivered the new cover and never refunded me for the liner. We found a new honest contractor who completed the project in 2 weeks. We since hired an attorney and we prevailed in a lawsuit. Unfortunately, Robert has few resources and very little money in the bank so recovery has been a challenge. He has been tough to contact since he was in The Lorain County Jail for about 3 months from December, 2023 to February, 2024. So bottom line stay away from Robert Wilkovich, Rosemarie and Northern Ohio Pool and Spas. They are dishonest, they are crooks and both have checkered backgrounds.

The company stopped working on our project mid September and the pool sat all fall when weather was perfect. After meeting with owner late fall, he guaranteed we would be first on schedule in May to complete pool. This did not happen. He worked a total of 8 hours through July on our project. He cited price increases that he is struggling with. We paid per our contract and any extra work he did. He told us he did not have the funds to cover our equipment, which he stated was paid for and we would be responsible for paying. Long story and enough was enough. Terminated our contract. Company is unreliable, terrible at completing due dates, and not trustworthy. Hired new company to finish and hiring lawyer.

    Bought a hot tub from them at the H&G show. Needed a delayed delivery and said it would be OK…read more Joe came out for a site inspection prior to delivery. Delivery went fine. They removed our old hot tub (for a fee) and placed the new one perfectly. Joe had made a note for them to bring a hole saw to drill where our electrical would enter. They did not want to do it saying it is "very hard" to drill through fiberglass. They refused. It took 20 seconds for my guy to drill the hole. During hook up, it appeared we were delivered a used unit. Maybe a showroom sample. Many indicators. Not what I purchased. Anyway, the unit seems to be working fine so far. Note: the cover that they "throw in" is cheap as heck. It leaks rainwater into the spa and it sags and puddled on the top the first time it rained. Very unhappy about this. We have had 2 other hot tubs in the past 35 years and not one had a cover that leaks and sags. Also, no manual came with the hot tub. The instruction sheet they left says "refer to the manual". Never got one. I had to call and Rex said he would email one. Inconvenient. Can't bring my computer out to the hot tub and printing 56 pages is ridiculous. I'm old school and like to have the manual in my hand as I am learning the features and functions and for reference. I will be calling Platinum Spas to get one. Also, they never mentioned how to Register the tub and file for the warranty. Not trying to be negative, but others must be aware of these things before you buy.

Their better business has been REVOKED and had an "F"!!!! Ohio Swims / American Construction has ongoing lawsuits from multiple customers. They are professionals at being sued and experts of deceit. Do NOT trust Bill Foster in anything he says. In our experience he is truly a CONMAN and running a fraudulent business. Do not trust Erika either. She will tell you what you want to hear. We do not understand how he is still in business based on the ongoing lawsuits and issues. He talks a good talk but please do not believe him. We were also fooled and paid the price. Our pool has taken over two years to be done and was never fully finished. It was to be six months. It was a nightmare beyond our wildest dreams of how bad it could be. We were forced to call a thousand times and beg for a response and action. We would be ignored for days, weeks and months. We consider ourselves lucky to have done what was done and believe it was due to the persistent ongoing follow up from my husband. At times we gave up due to getting so tired of the game. We would get extra charges for nonsense. The charges would be sent out of the blue. Pay close attention to the quote and contract because as time goes on you realize a lot of the contract charges are bogus. For example, we paid for salt water system but they never installed it. We never had a project manager. Maybe a year in we got one but he didn't last. We then got another. And then another. And then another. Explaining and providing clear details of open items and any issues. They all quickly learned and left because of the incredible lack of ethics of Bill Foster and company. We have a long list of the issues. Our grout and plaster is terrible. Holes and gaps all over. Coping had no grout at all. The placement of the equipment is ridiculous. Our pool continues to leak. We have unfinished items and safety concerns. This is only a snippet. Do you want a hole to be dug and then wait over a year for action to be taken? Do you want your backyard to be a hazard and when your pool is going to be built, have the guys put it in the wrong place? Do you want them to re-dig everything as they forgot to put in water lines? Do you want them to have to re-dig up the gas lines as it was down wrong? Do you want a company who doesn't have their employees use an accurate drawing? Then, when you try to get a true copy, you get charged an extra $1500? Do you want workers to show up with the wrong color plaster - completely wrong - and thank goodness you are there to catch it? Do you want to have to be home to oversee and make sure things do not get done wrong? We were forced to take time off work and be home on multiple occasions due to the ongoing errors every time they would show up. Constant and excessive hand holding. IF the pool would have been done great and perfect and we waited for over 2 years with no communication and direction and lived a nightmare, then that's one thing. At least we would have this. However this was NOT the case and we are afraid of not only the visual issues but what about the issues we cannot see? We live in the same area as the pool company within 20 minutes. I can't imagine if you are of distance. Good luck. Also, nobody will fix it if they hear Bill Foster is connected. He has a reputation. Ask around. PLEASE BELIEVE THIS and other bad reviews. Our family does not want the same thing to happen to other families. Your hard earned money should not be stolen from this company. With the Better Business revoked this year this alone should alert there is a major issue with this company. If only it would be revoked before we signed and made the worse decision of our life by trusting Bill Foster and his company.
