It's a tiny little restaurant, which can be good because they don't try to do too much at one time, however... Went with my wife for a late breakfast. I had pancakes which were good, but she had an egg/bacon/hash browns/toast combo. The bacon was a weird color and was cold. The toast was also cold. The eggs and hash browns were warmish. Not to mention that the portions looked like a child size. If I didn't know better I would think that this was the rest of someone's breakfast that they didn't finish. When we mentioned it to the server she apologized, told her manager and that was the last we heard. There wasn't any "Can I get you something else" or "I'll remove it from the bill". We got charged the full price for a tiny, cold, sub-par breakfast that even Denny's would be ashamed to serve. Never going back. I told my wife that if I wanted to have a disappointing breakfast I could make it myself and save a trip and $20. read more

Everything on the menu is homemade. With that being said it tastes about the same as it would if I made it at home. However, I am too lazy to always make a big breakfast at home. On those days, this is a great choice and the waitstaff are super sweet. I always get the spinach omelet. I used to love this place but my last two visits have been unsatisfying. Most recent visit had my meal arriving in succession with the toast arriving when i was half finished with the entree. The huevos rancheros arrived with eggs overcooked and meager green chile on top. Me thinks Lisa's staff needs to get with the program because i prefer not to support chains. read more

We like Lisa's because it's a place that is homey. The waitstaff are attentive and friendly without being syrup-y sweet. It's a place where you can lean over to the folks at the neighboring tables to say hello and chit chat. Food quality is consistently good although you won't find fancy-schmancy coffees or twists on breakfast foods here. I've never had a bad meal here. By far the best biscuits and gravy I've ever had in Colorado. It's a bit small and can be crowded but they turn the tables quickly. I've never waited more than five minutes for a table. Great service. read more

Lisa is very friendly and likes to ensure all her customers are taken care of and her staff seem very friendly and attentive. I would recommend Lisas place for breakfast especially. I write this on a full stomach, but not from Lisa's Place. My fiance and I came in earlier today (Sat, Oct 12th 2013) to have breakfast/lunch. We came in at 11:30am. We had never been there before and were looking the menu over for about 12 minutes. The waitress came to check on us a few times to see if we are ready and finally after about 12 minutes she saw I was looking at the burger section and told us they didn't serve lunch on the weekends. At that point we opted to pay for our drinks (1 small oj and a lemonade which was 4.50) and leave. After paying and still leaving a tip (I tipped 12% for the drinks) I go to get up and it's such a small place the waitress is blocking my only way out to leave while talking to customers at the table next to me. I walk up to leave and she's still talking -- a few seconds go by and right before I was going to say excuse me, she finally turned and looked me right in the eyes. Then she turned around and went back to talking! How RUDE. So rude that the customer at the table she was talking with had to tell her to move and how rude she was that she still had not moved out of my way. There were 2 waitresses there, one with a spanish girl and one white girl. The spanish girl was my waitress that didn't tell us that they don't serve lunch on the weekends for about 15 min into being in their establishment and the white girl was the one who blocked me looked at me and still was so rude she went back to talking and wouldn't move. We left and went down the street to another place, it was great. We will be back to that place, but not Lisa's Place. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. read more

I absolutely love Lisa's! This is a very small little restaurant that can get pretty crowded on a weekend morning, but the wait is never too bad. The service is quick, they send food out as it is cooked instead of waiting for your whole table. I have liked everything I've tried on the menu and there are a lot of choices. Something for everybody. I only have 2 complaints; when they are very busy I don't always get as much coffee as I like, and Lisa's used to be open for dinner and they are not anymore. I miss the Mexican food they used to make every day. read more

Absolutely love the small intimate feel of Lisa's place. I come from the east coast and love dinners so much. This place makes me feel at home. Food is so awesome. I love their French toast and my boyfriend is a huge fan of the country fried steak with gravy (I think they call it country Benedict or something). The restaurant is a hole in the wall, and it needs redecorating. The tables have advertisements with QR codes all over them, and it's very cramped inside. We weren't greeted when we arrived, but our server was good. The food was average, the gravy was very very floury, and my omelet was burnt. The sausage in the biscuits and gravy was rubbery, prefrozen. Now, several hours later, I'm feeling sick from eating there. That's something to look forward to. read more

If you think they are doing something wrong or they could do something better, they want to know. Their aim is to please. We have been going there for quite some time now and they have so many regulars we're one big happy family. We will even share a table if they are really busy (which is the case on weekends) and we won't be sitting with strangers but friends we have grown to know over the years. Visited for the first time on Sunday. It's a very small place in a little strip mall and has maybe 8 tables. But it's one of those nice little providers tucked away and worth patronizing. Large menu selection, good basic food and very nice prices. It ain't fancy and you won't find reindeer sausage and duck eggs. You will find a good basic bargain. I don't like to complain however my first and only visit to this place was terrible. The customer service was poor. The food was served so hot that it burned my mouth. I was not asked how the meal tasted. They rushed through the service. Then when I tried to contact management nobody answered the phone. Talk about wasted calories. This place was not impressive at all. Everything tasted canned and really bland. Their so-called "special chili" was really bland and goopy. Service wasn't that impressive either. The orange juice my 8 year old ordered was actually SPOILED and SOUR. Can you believe that? The area was cramped too and looked dirty. Not kidding, my stomach is hurting and I feel sick after eating there. We will never go again.
