This is our first time ordering from Lisa's Kitchen and it was absolutely amazing!! We finally found real Chinese/Cantonese cuisine after a very long hunt for a traditional Chinese restaurant. We ordered egg rolls, house special soup, Mongolian chicken, the triple crown, and the house fried rice. The portions were very large with tremendous amounts of the chicken, pork, jumbo shrimp, beef and veggies. There was no skimping on the ingredients. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back. This has become our new go to Chinese restaurant! read more

Honestly, I ordered twice from here and it was GREAT... however, today I ordered (Thursday evening) and was so excited to have Chinese that I talked SO highly of to a friend visiting in town.. our food was NOT fresh what so ever. It tasted awful, like it was at least 8 hours old. What a let down.... I almost called to let Lisa know how disappointed I was and how absolutely embarrassed I was. New to Boca Raton and having a hard time finding great places to eat. My coworkers suggested Lisa's kitchen because of the Grace friendly service. Well, Lisa did not disappoint. I ordered a veggie dish eggplant I believe and forgot to ask for it to be extra spicy. My hopes were in the metal because flavor and spice are important to me. When I arrived I waited about five minutes because they were busy. Lisa told me that my order was in the works and that she would give me something for the heat, the spiciness I want it. These guys literally ignored us for 15 minutes and kept taking online orders and calls instead of taking our order. The Apple Pay machine didn't work right and they tried to accuse me of not paying and wanted me to pay twice. Also they have zero respect for the law and people allowing there drivers to take up fire lanes that say no parking. Because it doesn't not allow me to respond. I don't care your made up reasoning. I noticed you aren't going to mention joe you guys illegally park in a fire zone. Zero respect for fire fighters. Also the food was mediocre. Sorry not sorry. I have ordered several times from Lisa's Kitchen which is now one of my favorite Chinese restaurants in Boca. The food quality is awesome and is definitely a step above all other Chinese restaurants in the area. The staff is also super awesome, and they are very attentive to anything extra you may need. The chicken fried rice and sesame chicken are to die for, and are great portion sizes! Definitely worth the buy. Delicious and comforting. We had shrimp fried rice, veggie lo mein and a wonderful soup (my boyfriend told staff to give us a good one!). Very clear, defined fresh taste and they soup is one of the best ever - and Im a foodie. Yum, yummy yum! Thanks for the little crunchy things sent with the soup too. On the menu was chicken chow mein with white rice and an egg roll along with egg drop soup, seaweed salad, a side of roast pork fried rice, Sushi roll I can't speak for the sushi rolls because I was too busy stuffing by self with the rest of the food The chicken chow mein was delicious, the chicken was fresh, the vegetables tender, and the fried rice was cooked to perfection with plenty of roast pork, the seaweed salad was also very good. read more

Damn Lisa! Why you gotta do me like that??? I've been looking for a "real" Chinese spot as long as I've been here but I guess I'll just have to keep looking. First off, yes it is very expensive for Chinese food. I know everyone mentions it and it is true. You get take out food at eat-in prices. But the main issue is the food...it's bland and it's tasteless. Just some fried up grease and that's about it. Veggies had no flavor and the orange chicken was all dough and no chicken. Nothing about the meal was memorable besides the grease. Not saying you shouldn't try it; it's worth a shot but as much as I miss real NY Chinese food, I don't think I'll be going back. read more

Lisa's Kitchen is a new restaurant that happens to be across the street from my house. It Is small. There's about six tables and a counter. The menu is posted on a board behind the counter. They feature Asian food including Chinese, Thai, Japanese, and Sushi. The wanton soup is delicious. I got shrimp with lobster sauce. It comes with white or fried rice. I ordered the white rice. Very good. I've ordered a Thai dish, the red curry chicken, it came with perfectly steamed rice. Delicious, a little spicy, but not too spicy. I'm looking forward to trying many more items on the menu. Lisa does a great job running her restaurant. Great service, very clean, and good food. read more

Very friendly staff That's with 2 stars Prices are insane for takeout food. I know prices went up but let's be real, it's take out not sitting down. Food isn't great, over cooked nothing special for the price you pay. There are a number of other Chinese takeout places that have much better food at normal prices. Okay, so we found this restaurant by its reviews on YELP. We were looking for a Chinese restaurant since all the others nearby have failed us. So glad we decided to try it. We have eaten there two nights in a row. It has been ten years since we have had decent Chinese food. Well this is outstanding authentic Chinese. We had the pork lo mein, pork fried rice, beef pepper steak, and sweet and sour chicken. All are very tasty and delicious. The egg drop and wonton soup are some of the best we have ever had. Since moving here, my family and I have found this delicious take out restaurant that we will definitely be enjoying frequently. We ordered 4 dishes plus a soup and were so impressed with the taste of freshness from the dishes. Lisa's Kitchen takes eating healthier Chinese to the next level. Today, is Thanksgiving so we decided on Chinese takeout for the very first time. Also, for the very time, we decided to try Lisa's kitchen for the very first time. We ordered multiple dishes: General Tao Chicken, Orange Beef, Roast pork with vegetables, Shrimp lo mein and house fried rice.After placing our order by phone, we received a timely text message that our order was ready for pick up. This is a nice added service to our order. We were greeted by Lisa in a very friendly manner. Our order was nicely packaged and ready to go. When we returned home, all of the food was piping hot and everyone was excited to eat. Each dish was delicious and by far the best Chinese food we have eaten in a very long time. This is a new family-run restaurant that recently moved to Boca Raton about 4 months ago. Lisa is charming and friendly. They have a Chinese and a Thai chef and her husband is the sushi master so the food here is the real deal. The interior is elegant .. tastefully decorated with beautiful artwork by her son. Best Chinese food we have had in the South Florida area. They have 14 seats and 4 tables for eat-in and friendly wait service. Great place for eat-in, takeout, catering, or delivery. I was tremendously impressed by the magnificent flavor and consistency of this wonderful dish! The owner, Lisa, is very helpful and attentive. Ok, so this is real deal Chinese food. After reading the fantastic reviews I knew I wanted to stop by. Located on Powerline rd a couple of minutes off Glades rd. The menu was full of traditional favorites and also serving sushi. From the dinner specials section I chose chicken and garlic sauce which came with a choice of soup, and either salad, egg roll or spring roll. I chose wonton soup and an egg roll-both on point. The soup had a great flavor and perfectly cooked wontons. Egg roll was crispy and fresh. The chicken and garlic sauce was a perfect portion with plenty of veggies and white rice. The chicken was cooked well and the sauce had the perfect amount of spice. Service was excellent and although small, a very inviting ambience. Definitely will be back soon!!!!! We ordered delivery from here and it was great. Ordered edamame, egg rolls, Singapore rice noodles, orange beef, general Tso's chicken, and beef chow fun. I was initially going with a mei fun option until I saw the reviews about the beef chow fun. And it is epic. I love the wide noodles because the absorb so much flavor and this didn't disappoint.
