Came here on a Monday evening and had to wait for about 15 minutes for a table to open up on the porch so we could eat with our dog. Parking was very easy and outside porch was nice. The menu has a variety of things so everyone can find something they want. We started with the breads and spreads and really liked it. The feta and the hummus went really well together. I then got the moroccan burrito and added chicken. I loved it. Very filling and good flavors. I thought the price was good for ~$18 with chicken. Overall a really nice meal!

If you are going during tourist season I would HIGHLY recommend making a reservation. It's a pretty decent size space, but was packed at 5:15 on a Friday night. Excellent service and yummy food. The pork lettuce wrap appetizer was absolutely the high point of the meal. There's a very tiny parking lot, but easy to find a spot on the street as you're on the outskirts of town.

Attentive service, nice patio and great food, what else do you need? They have a nice variety of food on the menu.

Good experience at Lisa G's. My Moroccan burrito was excellent. The fried chicken sandwich was good. However, the children's pizza was not very good. Also, an additional $4 to switch from chips to French fries is highway robbery. We understand an up charge but $4 felt excessive.

The food is always amazing, and the service is very welcoming from the moment you walk in.

It is official. This is our spot. We have been to Lisa G's maybe 5 times, but this night was the first time we sat on the beautiful back upper deck, facing the dam. It was so romantic. Our server was very attentive. The food we order is always a delight - even if it does not look like it will be. For example, I ordered the chicken and collard greens special with wild greens and the dish was soupy. I normally do not like any kind of rice in soup situation, but babyyyyyyyy, this was delicious. I could not believe how good it was. The next day, I had the leftovers and it was still good. There were tiny changes to some other meal items, but we were able to omit them easily. We cannot wait to come again. I will check to see if my hubby took a pic of my meal. I only photographed our starters and the dessert ‍.

Lisa G's is a great spot for dinner or drinks and apps! We started with the wings that we were able to get the dry lemon pepper rub with the truffalo sauce and it was such a good combo. Great beers on tap, loved the fat tire. Our entrees of shrimp tacos and gnocchi with blackened chicken were delicious as well. Service was super quick and our waitress was really welcoming. Overall a fun lively restaurant!

Went here on a weekend trip. It's dog friendly and the brought a water bowl for our dog. I had a sliced beef sandwich with chips. I enjoyed it with the au jous sauce. Service was good the checked on us and food came out in a reasonable time. The have the enclosed patio decorated in a fall decor which is nice

Overall Lisa G's was a good experience, although would say it did not fully meet our expectations based on previous reviews. We got chips and salsa for appetizer, and I do have to say the salsa was delicious. I had the lemon Caesar salad with chicken, which I really enjoyed and was a big portion. My sister got the hot meat flatbread, and she said it was fine but nothing special. Our server checked in with us regularly. The ambiance was unremarkable. Very nice views right outside of the restaurant though.

The inside was quite nice but the outdoor area has a very pretty waterfall view. Service was friendly and quick. There is a good amount of parking nearby but also very walkable if staying in downtown area. Food portions were quite large and very tasty, would definitely return.

I was able to get a reservation for two at 9:30 on a Saturday night but since we were hungry, we decided to try our luck by going earlier to see if we could push up our reservation or snag a walk in table. We got there at 8 and the hostess said they'd be able to mark us as arrived and seat us within 30 minutes. We told them we were going to the bar to get a drink and wait. 40 minutes later, I checked in and they said they'd be able to seat us soon. An hour 15 later, 15 minutes before our actual reservation, I checked in and they looked like they were surprised to see our table ready and sat us. I think it ended up working to our disadvantage that we weren't waiting next to the hostess/at the bar because I think they forgot about us. Despite the initial issue, we sat down and had a lovely meal. We got the beef lettuce wraps. They were very good. For entrees, we ordered the fish and chips and the jerk short rib. As someone who can't handle spicy, it ended up being a little more spicy than the waiter described. The short rib was super fatty, but the meat that was there was so tender and cooked well. The fish and chips was a very big portion, a touch overcooked but super crispy. The drinks were super delicious. I got the Toni basil and asked for it without simple syrup, which was perfect!

Lisa G's is a little off the beaten path in Lake Placid and I'm glad we tried it. It's a larger place and was pretty busy, so I'd recommend reservations. It was a little bit loud but again, it was a busy Friday night. I got the burger which was fine, but their house sauce really was spot on. I even asked for another side of it for my fries. My dining partner tried some wings and a salad which were great; there's some unique options for wings which was fun! Overall, I'd definitely go back. There's plenty on the menu I'd want to try!

Cozy little restaurant. Made reservations online for dinner and decided to arrive early and grab a drink at the bar. Our table ended up being ready early so we were seated before our reservation. The server was very friendly and energetic. My husband ordered the fish and fries and I had the goat cheese and blueberry salad with grilled chicken. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. My husband really enjoyed how his fish was lightly battered and cooked. Overall exceed expectations and would definitely come back!

Nothing special. Chicken parm was very average. Don't waste your time or money. There are plenty of better choices in town.

Their menu is loaded with all sorts of BBQ style food, as well as steaks and some seafood too. The décor is nice, cozy, and dimly lit. I started with their wings with the Ghost Pepper BBQ sauce on them - They were REALLY GOOD! Meaty wings, great crunch and smokey flavor and that BBQ sauce was so tasty! Next up was to try an order of their brisket nachos. They came out pretty quick and looked nice. They're definitely huge and I wasn't that hungry, so I really wanted to pick the good stuff, like the brisket and many of the toppings and that was all pretty good. The brisket I had was excellent! It had a nice bark and good smoke, yet was moist. Very nice experience, a place I'd definitely return to for another meal or even a drink at the bar!

While the area is a bit small, any minor inconvenience quickly fades into the background once you see the fantastic views of the lake. My wife and daughter ordered the pasta carbonara, and my son decided on the chicken and shrimp over linguini. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I ordered the veal parmesan with angel hair pasta--truth be told, the pasta was a bit overdone, but the veal itself was tasty, as was the marinara sauce. Service was great from start to finish--attentive and accompanied by a smile. Tip on parking: It's metered street parking and can be tough to find a spot, so give yourself some time to park before your meal! Very nice people, and great service, granted we were only 1 of a few tables at the time. Place is more of a bar than a formal restaurant, which I'm used to for similar spots. Plenty of TVs to watch World Cup. Never had pisco before, so got the Amazonas cocktail to try it. It was excellent and not too fruity! Really cool presentation too in a tall glass. They were out of some beers (owners were away to stock up) and so I got the pilsen callao and which was a serviceable light lager. My lomo saltado was up there with the best I've had. I thought it was a bit pricey, however they used really good skirt steak instead of the usual cheap beef. Fries were good, seasoning was on point, and plenty of rice. Could've used a bit more peppers and onions but such is life. My son liked his fries and my wife liked her tallarin.
