Great service from Matt for dinner and same excellent work from Sarah for breakfast. Food was awesome, highly recommend! No pics of my ribeye from dinner, I was starving. Venison chili and Brussels sprouts were perfect. Their cornbread is tasty too.

Our waitress, Julissa, was amazing!! Our drinks, amazing! Our food, amazing! See the theme? We started with corn soup, it was thick and had great flavor. They serve cornbread and maple butter. It's more like a sponge cake and is delicious! I had the grilled peach salad with grilled chicken, others in my party ordered the shrimp tacos (comes with 2, for a lighter appetite), hot honey chicken with the Smokey Mac and cheese, finely a campfire burger. Each meal was, as stated, delicious, and amazing! We also had drinks- agauvaquin, strawberry rhubarb, and lemonade. Yes, they were also amazing!

Campfire is located in Hotel Saranac, where we stayed for 2 nights. We tried drinks, dinner and breakfast here and absolutely loved it! The interiors are fresh and clean. The food itself was 4 stars, adding another star for the fantastic service. Evening cocktails/dinner: We were served by Julissa, she's such a positive person and her recommendations were spot on. Julissa was enthusiastic, passionate about her job and served with a smile. We really enjoyed our experience. For drinks - hot Sara was our favorite 5/5. Others were good, but not sweet enough for us. Dinner: 1. Chips and Dip - 5/5 - chips were crispy and dip was creamy and delicious. We ordered this on both days. 2. Vegan Korean BBQ Burger - 5/5 - the Asian flavored sauce made the beyond burger savory and delicious 3. Vegetarian Forest Mushroom Risotto- 4/5 - was creamy and had the right amount of cheese. Was delicious! 4. Side of corn bread - 5/5 - soft, flavorful and absolutely stunning! Overall dinner experience was fantastic and would highly recommend Campfire for dinner. Moving on to breakfast: Melissa was our server and she was warm and professional. We got: 1. avacado toast - it was ok - 4/5. Bread was crispy and was nice 2. Egg breakfast sandwich- 3/5 - husband thought it was ok 3. Latte - 5/5 - although they did not have 2% milk, latte was delicious! 4. Side of fruits - was good, fresh. Overall decent breakfast experience, definitely stop by coffee if you are looking for options in the area.

My order was the French toast with bacon, butter and syrup every time!! I cannot even begin to explain the delicious food but more than that a place where I can eat a comfort meal while watching planes depart and arrive from a beautiful airport. The owner and employees are so attentive, caring and all around just loving people! This is the BEST cafe I have ever reviewed especially if you love airplanes like me!!! Cavu was at the top of their list! And with their description of planes taking off and landing nearby, we thought it would be the perfect spot to bring our toddler. To access the restaurant, you have to walk into the airport. I've never been in such a tiny airport before! The cafe space overlooks the tarmac, but we were a little bummed that we only saw one plane takeoff while we were eating. We aren't locals and assumed there would be more! But that wasn't an issue. Plus, once my toddler started to get fussy, the staff whipped out a coloring book and some crayons. It was so so kind of them and nice that they were prepared. The food was excellent as well. My husband got the hash and eggs and was very pleased with the big hunks of corned beef throughout the hash. I tried his homefries and they were also delicious! I got the apple stuffed french toast to share with my toddler. It was perfect. We also got a side of maple cream, which I still dream of. Will definitely come back on our next trip to the area.

We were in the mood for lunch and they were only serving breakfast that Sunday. So, we opted for the most lunch-ish thing available that wasn't too heavy. Bagels and cream cheese. They were perfectly toasted and there was plenty of spreadable cream cheese. It made for a perfect light lunch. I don't eat eggs, so it did limit my options. If you do eat eggs, their breakfast dishes with eggs look amazing. Of course, we tried the coffee. It was very good and we loved the mugs. The place is rustic-charming. The service was good. It's a busy place. We loved the regulars who stopped in and didn't even need to say what they wanted. The servers already knew. The service is good but slow. Not sure if that's because they were busy or if they're just not the type to rush things. The bathrooms are clean. There is an up-charge for credit cards. It's hard to resist buying mugs and coffee to take home. The cookies were so hard to resist we bought some to keep us snack-happy on our travels. Definitely a good place to stop.

While I haven't had the opportunity to try the entire menu just yet, I can say confidently the home fries live up to the hype. I understand why they're called home fries because they reminded me of home. It looks like they're doing some renovation on the second floor, I wonder if that'll result in even more seating. If that's the case then it'll take this cafe to the next level.
