A local favorite! The wings are incredible and the service is friendly. They have live music sometimes too. We recommend it!

Everyone was friendly. My partner had the cheese omelette with rye toast. The omelette did not come with potatoes, but she did not mind at all. She liked the omelette very much, and she said that the rye bread was fabulous! She gave me a small piece, and I agree. It was delicious! I had the breakfast burrito with scrambled eggs, potatoes, and bacon. It also came with salsa and sour cream on the side. The salsa was very good, it had just a tiny "zip" to hit. They were a great addition to the burrito. The only thing, I would say about the burrito, was that the tortilla was not heated at all. It was like they took the tortilla out of the wrapper, and just put it around the food. It was a little disappointing, but overall it was still very good. My friend had Earl Gray tea, and I had coffee, which was delicious. Plus, they kept my cup full. She said that they used a good brand tea Prices were very reasonable. One thing about the place, because it is so popular, when they get busy, it is best to have patience. From the time we walked into the time we got our food it was almost a half an hour. It wasn't bad, we just visited amongst ourselves. Also, my partner kept admiring all of the beautiful photographs on the wall. It's a nice space. Apparently, the person who supplies the food for the restaurant is the photographer that took the pictures. Overall, a good meal. Thank you.

We brought our HDMI adapter hookup TV to tablet and watched movies at night by the fireplace, everything worked. There's restaurants around the cabin in under 5 mins. Hungry Trout was great if you looking for a romantic dinner & Pourman's Taphouse had great pizza with a great selection of IPA & DIPA beers! Country Bear had the perfect breakfast! We were seated right away at a table in the bar area. Staff was friendly and worked fast. The dinner selection is not low-fat or vegetarian but perfect if you've just spent the days outdoors. I ordered the stuffed pork chops which would easily serve two. Great comfort food! My husband had a prime rib that he loved. The salad bar didn't offer a ton of fresh veggies but had a decent selection. The wine list wasn't great but we didn't expect it to be. Mostly grocery store types of wines. The dessert (chocolate lava cake) was big enough for two and tasted great. Not gourmet but hit the spot. This is a great place to take a hungry family after a long day of skiing. You won't go away hungry. If you want a higher-end, gourmet option, head into Lake Placid. If you're staying in Wilmington and want a good meal with friendly service, stop by the Wilderness!

We were in the mood for lunch and they were only serving breakfast that Sunday. So, we opted for the most lunch-ish thing available that wasn't too heavy. Bagels and cream cheese. They were perfectly toasted and there was plenty of spreadable cream cheese. It made for a perfect light lunch. I don't eat eggs, so it did limit my options. If you do eat eggs, their breakfast dishes with eggs look amazing. Of course, we tried the coffee. It was very good and we loved the mugs. The place is rustic-charming. The service was good. It's a busy place. We loved the regulars who stopped in and didn't even need to say what they wanted. The servers already knew. The service is good but slow. Not sure if that's because they were busy or if they're just not the type to rush things. The bathrooms are clean. There is an up-charge for credit cards. It's hard to resist buying mugs and coffee to take home. The cookies were so hard to resist we bought some to keep us snack-happy on our travels. Definitely a good place to stop.

While I haven't had the opportunity to try the entire menu just yet, I can say confidently the home fries live up to the hype. I understand why they're called home fries because they reminded me of home. It looks like they're doing some renovation on the second floor, I wonder if that'll result in even more seating. If that's the case then it'll take this cafe to the next level.
