Great barbecue food, fast service, hopping atmosphere. Go here to laugh. There was an option for me that had a lot of fresh veggies.

Loaded nachos with brisket add on.

We had lunch here. It's so close to the Olympic Center, so.... minimal walking if you are tired. We were seated immediately, and our server was so friendly. I wish I had his name, I would recommend him. He was very welcoming and helpful when we were deciding what to order. We shared a plate of delicious pulled chicken tacos and nachos with a brisket add on. The soda was Saranac and very refreshing. I would consider this place to be a must go to if you are in Lake Placid.

We have been meaning to try this place and finally got the opportunity and are glad we did. Highly recommend the pickled shrimp cocktail. We also really enjoyed the brisket rice bowl and the pulled pork sandwich -- we will definitely be back!

Friendly service, cute inside, came for the poutine, it was good but very heavy. We split it and still had enough to take home!

Before starting our adventure around Lake Placid, we decided on a spot to eat. So happy we chose the pickled pig! It was a nice day so we sat outside enjoying the Fine weather of Lake Placid. We open with adult beverages. Our server was attentive, friendly, and professional! For our main courses, I decided on their barbecue salad with brisket and my wife decided on the brisket barbecue sandwich. It may sound like a lot of brisket, it was, and delicious! The brisket salad was out of this world yummy! My wife's brisket sandwich had some harder pieces, but still was not too bad. If we are ever in Lake Placid again, I know where we'll be stopping.

    Chicken rice bowl. Dry chicken.

The service here is good but the food is ok. The burnt end salad was ok but the burnt ends were a bit dry and served Luke warm. The chicken bowl the chicken was also a bit dry.

A decent size bar with TVs to watch games. A nice outdoor patio with fire pits. Food options are bar fare with a barbecue tilt It's serviceable but not extra extraordinary. Good sized craft beer menu to choose from and a full bar.

    Amazing sandwich at pickle pig!!!

Finally some good BBQ in NY but it is 4 and half hours from my place! Just have another location but closer to Westchester county We had the chopped brisket sandwich that was packed with flavor and a sauce you wanna bottled up. Then also had the BBQ Rice Bowl with a good ratio of the delicious brisket to rice and veggies. One critique I had or didn't understand was we got seated first before two other "2-tops" just like us but they got their food out before ours. Luckily we were not in a rush and on vacation, but we would've like a warning why it took awhile; 3.5 stars overall cause of that.

We stopped here after a long day of great Olympic overload as it was across the street from the Olympic Center. The smoke drew our attention but the smell of BBQ drew us in. Got the Brisket Tacos and Brisket Rice bowls with a couple of local brews. I thought prices were a little high until I saw the size of the portions. Service was fast and fairly attentive. Would come here again if in area

Very busy all of the time! Great for late night bites, I guess they stay open til 3 am. After a night of drinking the crack burger was totally amazing. It is a bit pricey but good food. Would give 4 stars but service was a little slow.

Will you be serving on Thanksgiving?

We tried in vain to contact them last week directly via phone, email and Facebook to verify their posted hours without success. Best of luck, our dining experience was poor !!

Where's the prices ? I would like to know please or is it a secret lol?

I can say the prices are high, 4.00 fountain soda and 25.00 for a burger and homemade chips!!!

They do have a second floor dining area for large parties. English pub style. Food is relatively good. We are here 3 out of the 5 days we were in Lake Placid, mostly out of convenience. Service is okay, depending on who you get. They are super busy all the time and if your server isn't on point they will forget things. Their Ubu beer is the best beer there. The cranberry cider is pretty good as well. Shepards pie had very little meat/filling with a larger mashed potato ratio. Apple pie sounds great on paper but had little filling, leaving it super dry because it's baked as an individual personal pie. The whipped crème fraiche was delicious. Wings were nicely fried, crispy on outside and tender inside. Sourdough grilled cheese could've been better by using any other cheese besides Kraft singles. Clam chowder is superb. Beet salad was okay. Turkey burnt ends did not impress me and it's suppose to be their most popular dish. Chicken tenders were delicious. Fried fish was amazing! Huge piece of fish, served with tartar sauce and a side of incredible fries. Detroit style pizza is lackluster. The dough could've been cooked longer as it was underdone.
