Place is disgusting. I gave it a try twice. The inside is so outdated, that it feels like you're sitting in caked dirt. It's dark, dungy and creepy. Food was terrible each time. I took 4 teenagers for the 2nd redemption time there and all of them pretended to be polite and say they are not that hungry after taking a few bites of popular common dishes like chow mein, sweet & our chicken, and low mein. Unseasoned nasty food this is my 3rd time trying them never again each time was nasty however I love Chinese food and didn't wanna drive 45 mins one way for food! Under new management and new chefs Li's Garden is outstanding. Real oranges in the Orange Chicken, everything had excellent flavor and customized our order to fit food allergies. Fast, friendly service, great prices (a large entree will feed 3-4) and delicious new recipes. If you had written The Great Wall off, go back to the location and give Li's Garden a try. I tend to go for the singapore chow mein fun, shrimp fried rice, beef lo mein, and shrimp with vegetables for entrées typically. Great food for Maricopa, AZ. We often order home delivery and they are quick and efficient. They have huge servings and I do like their chow fun noodle and won ton soup. We do order multiple plates as I love this food left over. Anyway, they have an okay but dated restaurant family centered and it has a chill atmosphere one of the only "sit down" supper spots out here. We love it and would recommend. Thanks again. read more

Not impressed. Ordered food for take out. Not only did they ring up the wrong food. They didn't even give us everything. However, we called and were refunded for the missing items. The food we did have was terrible. The chicken was so chewy, we couldn't eat it. The rice had no flavor. It was very disappointing. read more

I am really disappointed in this place. I've ordered from them a couple of times and this is the last time I will order Chinese food from them. I ordered the sweet-and-sour chicken which is basically fried chicken with a side of sweet and sour sauce. Anyways,I ended up getting a really bad food poisoning and so did my wife. It was the only thing we ate all day and a visit to the doctors told us we had received food poisoning. Now, I'm not one to really complain but I spent the rest of the night bent over a toilet for six hours along with my wife. read more

Ordered delivery for the first time. Delivery fee is $2.50, not bad. I ordered the dinner for two: beef & broccoli and sweet & sour chicken which came with 2 spring rolls, pork fried rice, and steamed rice. I personally don't like when the chicken is not cooked in the sweet and sour sauce, but the beef & broccoli and fried rice are really good. The Chinese donuts are my go-to guilty pleasure. It is average take out Chinese food but it gets the job done! The sweet and sour chicken is pretty good. Great food and even better service! We ate here once when it was The Great Wall and were never back again. We decided to give it a try under the new name and ownership but were very sceptical. To our surprise we have not had Chinese food this good since we lived in Ohio 6 years ago. The won ton soup was flavorful and the egg rolls were on point. The owner was a cook for the original store. Health code violations everywhere and a lot of unethical behavior. I have seen food dropped and still used, people not washing hands after using the bathroom, and handling food in an unsanitary environment. Also, I have suspected theft by the store. The food is average at best and their mentality towards Maricopa residents and their ethics is outright disgusting. Delivery drivers are quick because they are told to speed putting others at risk! If you do not believe me about health, please check their health code violations from before. I would report them to the BBB, but they are not accredited anyways. I used to work for them as a driver. I will not bend my ethics and professional stance on business as a business student myself for their gain. Maricopa residents beware! read more
