This place has great food and service! Atmosphere is okay...food is served hot and there was plenty of it!

I ended up at Li's Garden because a coworker was heating up his lunch, and it smelled amazing! I asked him what it was, and he said Mongolian beef. When I asked where it was from, he said Maricopa an hour away! But I came anyway because I'm on a mission to find all my favorite spots to satisfy all my cravings here in Arizona. I tried it, and I could tell the quality of the beef wasn't the greatest, but the flavor was definitely there. The seasoning was spectacular, and they gave plenty of onions just the way Mongolian beef should have. I decided to try this place out. I ordered a beef broccoli combo meal and wor wonton soup. I asked them to cook my broccoli well done but they didn't happen. The fried rice was not much better than Panda Express. The portion size was very small. The whole plate didn't taste like any beef broccolini had ever had in the past. It was weird. I also asked for a side of egg foo young gravy so I could try it. That was not egg foo young gravy, that was weird as well. It was almost like the cooks/owners were not from china. The food was in no way authentic. The wor wonton soup was the worst I have ever had. There was no flavor. It almost tasted like dirty dish water. The ambiance was disappointing as well. They have viable cardboard boxes of supplies. They only have 7 tables. Very worn out. I think Denny's is nicer. I will not be returning and I really hope there is another Chinese restaurant in town. read more

First time trying and it was perfect! Literally no complaints. I ordered a veggie lo mein and even though it's a basic dish, it had great flavor. We also got some fried rice (delicious). My boyfriend got the chicken wings and loved them! The crab rangoons were amazing also. They were light and crispy and flavorful. Service was good also. Our order was ready for pick up in no time. My boyfriend and I have been here twice now and we genuinely like the food. We've been getting the house fried rice because it comes with chicken, shrimp and beef, which is really great and I also like the crab Rangoon's. I want to start off by saying thank you to the staff. Working on Christmas sucks and Im so grateful for you. Now, on to the food. Never in my 47 years have I had more disgusting food. We got the family meal for 3 and spare ribs. Everything tasted the same, one. Two Everything was DISGUSTING!! Our entire family had one bite of each dish and we were done. We tried plain lo mein, which was fabulous teriyaki chicken amazing with the white rice. We really love their fortune cookies!! It seems as if they have like a hint of orange in the flavoring. The sweetest kind young lady was our waitress she was helpful and not overbearing. Atmosphere was extremely Pleasant. Clean , it felt traditional Chinese dining even with the music. So here's a quick rundown. Food was very bland and was not all that appealing. I had the seafood soup but unfortunately it wasn't very hot. No flavor even though it had plenty of veggies but they weren't cook all the way through. It did have plenty of protein but lacking flavor. Also ordered the shrimp lo mein noodles plenty of shrimp but the sauce was so watery that the noodles didn't pickup any flavor. Also had the shrimp fried rice, it had no kick to it. Spring rolls were probably the best lol. The ice gave the drinks a nasty flavor. I personally don't recommend this place unless all you can is bland and unseasoned food. read more

Service is excellent and staff are attentive to your needs. The sign on the door says "everything cooked fresh" and I believe it is accurate. The crab Rangoon has an amazing fresh crab flavor and the sweet and sour tastes homemade and not thick like most Asian restaurants serve. The Dragon and Phoenix dish is the best of both worlds with General Tao and Garlic shrimp in one dish. Staff are always cleaning when not serving tables so the restaurant is always inviting and clean. read more

We had the food delivered and it came earlier than expected which was nice. We got egg rooks and spring rolls. The spring rolls were crispy. Of anything I would say, dont be afraid of the 5 spice. It is delicious in either egg roll. We had 3 dishes and all ingredients were fresh. We like seasonings in the dishes and these lacked spices. I would order again and hope they spice it up . Heard this place was the best Chinese food in town and it definitely was! We over estimated how big the plates are and got a lot of food. We definitely had our tummy's full and took the rest home. We came here last week because I wanted soup & my boyfriend temporarily is living in maricopa, he had never been. I looked at their menu and I was impressed by the variety of food items, and with a 3.5 rating I knew this was the place to go. Maricopa doesn't have a lot of healthy food options, but now this is at the top of my list for best eats in maricopa. I wanted won ton soup, It's my default when I don't know what to eat, and it was perfect, the dumplings were perfectly cooked as well, correct texture, not overcooked and not soggy. His meal with the orange chicken and fried rice was very flavorful, super tasty and we ended up also getting crab rangoons (not pictured) which were delicious! Emmy was our server, and she was delightful! Very friendly and was knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant itself was a good vibe, nothing crazy, and seemed relatively cleanly. This was my 3rd and final order. The only thing I can recommend is a fried rice, eggrolls, and wor wonton soup. The chicken skewers were ok. I added ginger to my soup. I ordered sweet-and-sour pork and it looked like nothing I've ever seen before... The Phoenix entrée with shrimp and chicken was disappointing as well. I would've been better off going down a couple buildings to the bear express and spent $20 less. read more

Chinese food in Arizona where is the good food at? Well I'm not from Arizona and what I have noticed is the food choices in Arizona are disappointing however this place was a pleasant surprise. This is our go to place 2 to 3 times per month for about 2 years. Food is always fresh and so tasty. They do a very good job with consistency. We have never had to complain about anything. Worst experience ever!!! 5:23 pm a woman answers the phone takes our order and credit card information. Let's us know delivery would be 45-50 mins. 80 mins later nothing. I call and the man that answers the phone tells me the delivery driver is on their way and will be here shortly. 10 mins pass by I call again and at this point my kids are starving and we are just going to cook at home. I demand a refund. They tell me just give us more time, he's on his way yet they called to confirm what type of chow mein we wanted 90 mins later. After a lot of back and fourth they agree to the refund. Less than 10 mins later the manager calls me from his cell to inform me they do not have any record of my order and has no idea what I'm talking about: WTF?!?! Really tried with this place, but after tonight I am done. The fried chicken is really hairy and they split a wing into 3 pieces and count that as 3 pieces! Nothing was fresh tonight either. But the rice with everything in it was delicious! Sadly, I ordered again shortly after and the food was very bland. So the big issue is inconsistent cooks.
