This is a hidden gem!!! We came on a Saturday morning and was greeted with a smile by all the staff. Their options on the menu are healthy and delicious! Both of our iced lattes were delicious too. Actual tea places (loose leaf), especially those with tons of amazing and unique drink options, plus excellent food are so hard to come by. I would say this spot is a gift to Murrieta, but since I'm from out of town, I would go so far as to say it's a gift to So Cal! I will make it a point to come here every time I'm driving down AND up the 15 freeway. I had the Sparkling Matcha and the Chocolate Chai. The Sparkling Matcha was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, a hint of decadence with the splash of condensed milk (OMG genius addition, haven't seen this anywhere else), and very refreshing. The Chocolate Chai, holy moly, why don't more places do this?!!! I know! Because most places use a prepackaged powder, Liquid Leaf makes their OWN chai tea!!!! Drinks- some of the best I've ever had, and I am a coffee and matcha snob. On to the food - okay most places do one thing right, food or drinks. The Liquid Leaf - on both!!!!! First, they made three soups (are they trying trying to make me move to the area???) We had all three - the chicken ramen (more like chicken noodle with ramen noodles- but genius), tomato, and French onion. I would get all of them again . Avocado toast- very good, a bit bready- I like thinner crisp bread, but that's just my taste. I would still get it again! Then we topped all this off with a shortbread cookie with raspberry jam in between - one of the best cookies I've ever had. Plus, some people in our party also got the real fruit smoothies and loved them. Reading this and thinking I'm being over the top? Just try it, you wont be disappointed! Only suggestion is try not to go close to closing, or call ahead so you aren't trying to order a drink 5-10 minutes before. I saw a post on instagram reels about their 32oz matcha latte and bookmarked this place so whenever we'll be in the area, i'll be able to try it. the day has come and on our way back to OC, i made sure to stop by The Liquid Leaf to try their matcha latte. If I could give Liquid Leaf six stars, I would! This place is my daily sanctuary. I'm lucky enough to work at the dental office across the street, and Liquid Leaf has quickly become my go-to morning treat...and let's just say, sometimes lunch too. Shhh! The staff is as incredible as the drinks. The owner is one of the coolest, most professional, and friendly people you'll meet. She has this elegant British accent and shorter hair, and she runs the place with so much care and attention to detail. I also often see this wonderful woman with glasses, who's always quick with a friendly smile and seems to know my whole order before I even say a word. I wish I knew everyone's names because the whole team here deserves recognition for their incredible service. And the food! I appreciated that the barista, after giving me my order, told me to let her know if I would like more syrup added since sweetness level is a preference. Although it specializes in a broad scope of interesting teas, I'm a coffee drinker. The coffee of the day was was wonderful, smooth and clean but with lots of flavor. No 'burn' taste or bitterness like Starbucks (I don't add sweeteners to my coffee to hide that nastiness). It was also served in a very civilized, tall, handled glass. Their were multiple grain/fruit bowls to choose from - I was clueless. The Paradise bowl was recommended and was absolutely fantastic.
