I have had more than my fair share of unfortunate DoorDash deliveries in which the restaurant failed to follow instructions or forgot items altogether. It has been a very frustrating experience to have back-to-back incidents when the orders are not complex. I was so pleasantly surprised the last two times I ordered Lions Choice because the directions are followed pristinely and everything is always delicious and fresh! The shakes are made with real fruit, and the quality of the meat is always juicy and tender. I'm a Michigan native who grew up with the other roast beef sandwich restaurant and I can honestly say I will never go back to their roast beef sandwich ever again. I absolutely love The Remix sandwich and get it every single time. I love the option for as rare as possible, and the garlic seasoning is sensational and I always ask for extra because I use it in my home cooking recipes. Every time I encounter a Lions Choice employee they are exceptionally professional with genuine customer service in their voice and demeanor. I love Lions Choice! read more

I love Lion's Choice, specifically for their gluten free chicken tender sandwich. Unfortunately, the Arnold Mo location has not been good with getting our order correct the last several times we've gone there over the past few months or so. Plus, they shove as much stuff into one bag as humanly possible, causing the bags to rip *every* time. I'm not bashing their food (in fact, I recommend their gf chicken tenders) but please double check your order and ask them to not shove everything into one bag. read more

Just ordered the large roast beef and the King turkey. The beef was ok the turkey was awful. It wasn't even sliced it was made up of chunks of turkey pulled off the breast.the instead of a hoagie bun it was on a small hamburger bun. Te Robles sandwich read more

I'm usually an OG King Beef purist, but today I paid a cover charge of $6.63 to attend a lunch event dubbed "The Remix." Grilled Texas Toast, garlic aioli sauce, Swiss cheese, & 4 oz. of that tender shaved beefiness host a mouth party the likes of which Hugh Hefner had never seen. Hour and a half before closing time we came in much to the chagrin of the kid "cleaning " the tables or rather listening to music on his phone hiding from his fellow employees. Food was ok, the kids behind the counter were friendly enough. They were a little annoyed with the "cleaner" since he had taken all the condiments away from the dining area. This is a fast food restaurant but it is probably the best fast food restaurant that I've eaten in. The staff are helpful in polite everyone had their mask on. worth noting is the extra care that they take in packing your to-go order through the drive-in. not only did they have the OSU and the Frank's hot sauce that I requested packed in little containers they had them wrapped in little plastic bags to keep them separate in case of an accident or maybe even warm it was just wonderful. they also had a miniature plastic bag to put the salt and pepper in that I requested. all in all a really good experience and did I mention the food it is real old fashioned roast beef not the processed roast beef that you get it other food chains or even some delis but a really nice home style roast beef. if you're in the St Louis area they're all over the place it's worth a stop and it's understandable why they call it the Lion's choice! read more

My dd got chicken tenders and those were really good. I want to get those next time! But my goto roast beef sandwich was delicious as always. Try the chipotle ranch on the sandwich and fries. Was driving through and got there an hour and a half before close. Love this place but they're closed an hour and a half early because they're "out of roast beef". The sign says roast beef on it. Clearly bullshit, this is like going to Steak 'n Shake and them being out of steak and shakes. Like going to Burger King and being out of burgers. Just doesn't happen. I'm guessing their roast beef delivery isn't scheduled for Sunday so I'll call back tomorrow and if they're open I will conclude they're just lazy like every lions choice employee I've ever encountered. If you are thinking of going here, go. Follow these simple directions and you will have a wonderful time. Get the juicy original roast beef sandwich meal. I recommend the large size so you get this long style bun. Get those perfect fries on the side and enjoy yourself a sweet tea with that oh so wonderful crushed ice. Ask for some extra seasoning for your sandwich and fries. Possibly add a little au ju for your sandwich and enjoy a perfect meal. I love Lions Choice, but this store seems to have a problem with quality control. Our sandwiches were lightweight (forgivable- it happens sometimes) but not only were they light on roast beef, the beef on the sandwich was the rubbery fat parts that should have been discarded. Best roast beef in town, better than Arby's. It ain't process or tasted choky, fresh fresh meat. Great quality. Love the au jus sauce, not over empowering or salty. I LOVE lions choice. But the Arnold, MO location has terrible customer service. I ordered two sandwiches and both were not made as I ordered, so I went through the drive thru to get them replaced. They were made wrong again, none the less by the GM. At that point I was going to be late for work so I left and called the store on my dinner break and asked if I could either get the correct meal or my money back. The manager was very nice and apologetic. She took my name and told me to come back another day. So I went back the next day only for the GM to refuse a replacement order or my money back. She yelled at me, calling me a liar, asking where the sandwiches were. She did everything but curse and spit in my face. Very disrespectful and rude people. Love this place! They have the freshest roast beef and it has so much flavor. You can also customize your sandwich; no buns, no butter, add different types of cheese, no seasoning, less seasoning, more meat, well-done meat, wheat bun.. the possibilities are enless! There are even other options for people who aren't crazy about roast beef. And their fries are great! Not your typical fast food fry, theirs are natural cut fries so you get that at home taste. Plus they have a variety of soups and amazing custard that you can't find anywhere else. The parking sucks, and it can be challenging to find the place sometimes, but it's well worth the drive and you'll always want to come back. read more
