When Peter checked the left front tire he found nothing wrong and he added the appropriate amount of air. He noticed my other tires were lower than they should be, though not as low as the left front one, and he added air to them. When I asked him what I owed he wouldn't take anything! He didn't even charge me for his time. I was so relieved that I avoided a large expense! Eventually, I will need new tires and I will only go to Tire Depot. The honest service I received made me feel confident that this business is one that I can trust, not just for tires but also for any auto repairs I made need in the future. I highly recommend!!!

My daughter, who was preparing for an imminent cross-country car trip, suddenly discovered that one…read moreof her tires was reported as low on air. She was unable to fill it up with her compressor. She called AAA, and they were also unable to fill it, so they towed it to Meineke in Beverly. It was near the end of the business day, so she figured they'd get to it the following day. What she didn't know was that the shop would be closed for the following four days. The next morning (before we knew that Meineke was closed), I had called and left a message on their voicemail. Then we learned about the closure, so my daughter started to figure out how to get her car towed elsewhere. However, to my very pleasant surprise, Chris from Meineke called me back. Apparently, he was catching up on some work during the closure, and had a mechanic on emergency standby. I described the situation to him, and he said he'd see what he could do. The next thing we knew, Chris and the mechanic, Paul, had thoroughly checked the bad tire for leaks, checked the valves on all four tires, fixed the valves on two of them, topped off the fluids, and checked and inflated the spare tire in preparation for the long drive ahead. All without requesting any compensation at all, on a day that they weren't even open! This saved my daughter considerable aggravation, time, and money. It was truly above-and-beyond. A heartfelt thank-you to Chris and Paul for helping us out of what was shaping up to be an all-day stress event, and for reminding us that there are such wonderful examples of professionalism and kindness out there.

Last night we had a blizzard, and when I went out to clear snow the tire on my snowblower was flat. The rubber was spinning on the rim, machine would go nowhere. Got up early this morning and shoveled enough to get the car out (just barely) and took the tire to Hogan's. I figured there was a chance I would have to leave it, or buy a tube or even a new wheel somewhere. But for the second time in five months they took the wheel and fixed it within ten minutes and sent me on my way. No charge! All it needed was air, the seal at the bead had popped but there was no damage. I offered to pay, they said no charge. I have been a customer since the mid eighties when I moved here, but I am not certain I have been in often enough for them to remember my face or name. I can't imagine going any where else for tires though, these guys are the best. I owe them, this is twice they saved me.

They said i was driving the car with a flat tire but it was not a flat tire as the head screw was LODGED in there, no air would escape unless the head screw is head screw is removed. they tell me the tire beyond repair, in which i can understand but they then proceed to tell me all four of my tires, mind you brand new car, should be replaced, i said i don't want that because it would make no sense to replace new tires when only one tire was damaged. when it was made clear that i don't want to change all four tires and then i went to picked my car, i was told everything was all set but the tire was gone, only the rim was left. the next day i went to picked it up and they had given me the wrong tire. my tire is a 25 and the tire they wanted to give me was a 24. i had to bring it back and they told me it was a mistake. there was no apology what so ever only attitude and raising their voice, they gave my tire away to recycling truck, they proceeded to yell at me saying do you want us to order it or do you want us to call the recycling truck back and with the attitude possible they raised their voice and asked " YES or NO?!! " and i said they left me no choice but to let them make a phone call because my tire now is gone. in the end they tell me the tire is still with them and it was the whole time. they don't know what they're doing at all, mistakes left and right but they give us attitude when we are trying to be compliant. terrible service from them and honestly the worst experience I've had with any business. they wasted 2 days on things that could've been avoided. i can't believe they tired to tell us to replace all of our tires on our brand new car and try to gouge us for money.

They were "done" with my alignment at 1:56pm (only a 16 minute alignment) when I asked if I could grab my sons water out of the car, I went out back and my car was exactly where and how I parked it out back. I'm not even sure they actually did the alignment... when I asked them about it they claim most of the camber/toes were frozen and they couldn't do it. And ironically enough the cameras only show a portion of the cars getting worked on, it doesn't show the other side where the alignments happen. So I decided to sit out side/ out back with my 7 year old to watch them complete the tire balance and was able to take a photo of the two guys who "claimed" to have done my alignment, sitting down, relaxing on their phones texting away. My appointment was at 2pm, We didn't leave until 4:15pm. And they STILL charged me FULL PRICE for an alignment even though they couldn't complete it. And on top of that the noise I was having prior to coming in hoping the alignment and balance would fix it as they claim it would, is even louder than before. I'm so sick and tired (pun intended) of mechanic's taking advantage of women especially single moms. This was an outrage and not worth the money I paid.

My truck needed new tires, and I considered a few different places, but Sullivan (Peabody location)…read moreis close to me and their website had a great selection of premium brand tires (I was looking for a BFGoodrich All-Terrain). You can pick out a tire and set up an appointment online. So I picked the tire I was looking for, made an appointment on the website, and almost immediately had a real person email me back confirming the appointment. Nice. I showed up today at the time I requested, they had the tires I had requested in the correct size, and they brought my truck almost immediately in and began work. They completed the tire install and an alignment in just over an hour, which went by quick with my laptop and the wifi at the Dunkin Donuts across the street (they do have a decent waiting room with a TV but I wanted an iced coffee). They called as soon as it was done. To be fair, they were not very busy (this was a Friday morning) but this was an excellent turnaround time. The tires are great, the alignment is perfect and the guys were friendly. There was no up-sell for services I didn't need, except to ask if I wanted the road hazard warranty (which I did, cheap enough considering the cost of premium tires). I honestly can't say how they compared on price to other shops because I wasn't shopping on price; the cost of the tires and the install seemed reasonable and to me the convenience was most important, and they did excellent on that. This is not the kind of place I would do service at (not a knock on them, I just like to do my own, or take it to the dealer for anything complex) but I would definitely return next time I need tires.

She laughed and said all our tires are brand new and current. Got 3 miles back to work to look at my $1,100 tire job. All 4 tires are worn on edges, someone's returned tires not brand new. Never go to Sullivan Tire again. And to really make things worse..the dot code: July 2024. 2 years old.
