The Uhaul location in the town I live didnt have the one I needed so this location in Essex showed it to be available and open while reserving. It took my card information and I received confirmation with a transaction number and everything. Upon arrival NOBODY was there, doors were locked, nobody to answer the multiple phone calls made by myself, my boyfriend, and 2 different Uhaul customer service reps I sat on hold for 28min with trying to locate this manager because my boyfriend was sitting there literally just waiting. There was nothing in the Uhaul system stating any closure or anything for that spot so he was just as confused that not a soul was there. Customer Service was NO help, told me to drive to Salem, MA which is an hour commute from me. Asked for management for further assistance on Uhauls customer service line and was told there was no management, they had left for the day...at 1:00PM so all they could do was cancel it. So now I am stuck with no trailer, no answer or solution for getting my couch thats an hour and a half away, and 28min on the phone sitting on hold that I'll never get back. Wish I could rate it a 0 for my inconvenience and lack of any form of solution.

Update 2017: Bought my mom a used vehicle as a gift last Winter. I brought it to Burnett's for a sticker and they discovered a brake light issue that would cause a sticker rejection. They went out of their way to call around and get the part needed. 2 weeks later my mom's car got side swiped (hit and run) in a parking lot. The damage was very minor but I still wanted to have it fixed for her. These guys did the work for FREE and turned it around in a day!
