I purchased at set of winter tires. Why get them at Hogan? Well their prices were with in reason of all the rest. Perhaps it was the closeness to the train station which allowed me to hop a ride and get to work that day. The price was good. They had the car ready for me when I arrived to pick it up. So why the bland review. Well the rims were all greased up from the hands of the staff. Just after I had the car cleaned. Then the bums tried to take my valve stems caps. When I asked them about the caps they stared at me like I was mad. Well I was mad, reallly pissed off actually. I went into the service bay and found them on a work bench. So I am on the fence about using them again. I will be back to get summer tires once this fall weather comes to an end. I am just not sure if I will use them again.

They said i was driving the car with a flat tire but it was not a flat tire as the head screw was LODGED in there, no air would escape unless the head screw is head screw is removed. they tell me the tire beyond repair, in which i can understand but they then proceed to tell me all four of my tires, mind you brand new car, should be replaced, i said i don't want that because it would make no sense to replace new tires when only one tire was damaged. when it was made clear that i don't want to change all four tires and then i went to picked my car, i was told everything was all set but the tire was gone, only the rim was left. the next day i went to picked it up and they had given me the wrong tire. my tire is a 25 and the tire they wanted to give me was a 24. i had to bring it back and they told me it was a mistake. there was no apology what so ever only attitude and raising their voice, they gave my tire away to recycling truck, they proceeded to yell at me saying do you want us to order it or do you want us to call the recycling truck back and with the attitude possible they raised their voice and asked " YES or NO?!! " and i said they left me no choice but to let them make a phone call because my tire now is gone. in the end they tell me the tire is still with them and it was the whole time. they don't know what they're doing at all, mistakes left and right but they give us attitude when we are trying to be compliant. terrible service from them and honestly the worst experience I've had with any business. they wasted 2 days on things that could've been avoided. i can't believe they tired to tell us to replace all of our tires on our brand new car and try to gouge us for money.

This was rather surprising as there were no indications of a problem and my car is relatively new. So I went to another mechanic that I trust to have it checked out and he told me there was nothing wrong with the car. He also told me that he sees more and more people coming in after getting their oil checked by Cousins and being told they need all sorts of work done. I also told an acquaintance about my experience and he told me that his mechanic says the same thing - people come in crying because Cousins told them all sorts of things were wrong with their cars and he checks and finds it not true.

It was an older car and I never considered having the engine replaced but the technician reminded me of a recall on my vehicle that I forgot all about, having to do with the engine. They let me keep my car in their lot for about a month with no charge while I tried to work out replacement with the dealer. On another occasion they helped me this winter when my other car started to rattle like crazy after the back to back snow storm. They brought my car into their garage and let it warm up so they could remove snow caked inside the wheel wells. I got an oil change at the same time and they only charged me for that and provided me with a loaner for no charge! Highly recommend this business that takes care of their customers above and beyond compared to most mechanics I have dealt with, absolute 5 star rating!
