If you want to consume a meal of mediocre Chinese food that will fulfill your entire daily caloric allowance for the day, Lin's is the place. Most of the Chinese food was without flavor and greasy all the way through. The broccoli was fresh and well cooked; a pleasant surprise. The most successfully cooked items on the line were the chicken nuggets, but they did not exceed the quality of the frozen supermarket variety. The Mongolian Grill is passable, though a little over salted. If you're like me and thought they might make up for it in the dessert line, let me dispel that lovely illusion for you. The cream puff tasted like it was filled with cheap convenience store frosting, only with less sugar. Granted, I probably brought that on myself by eating a cream puff at a Chinese Buffet. All in all, a disappointing meal, though I had great company and have no complaints about the service. All the staff were polite, friendly, and helpful. Been there 3 times but today will be the last for awhile. The service was very poor as the waitress rarely cleared our dishes or refilled our water, etc. Food was okay for most part but some dishes were not. The straw that broke the camel's back was when one of the servers dropped the serving tongs on the floor, then wiped it with the cloth with which he had wiped off the dirty counters and put it back into the tray of food. :( read more

Go somewhere else, the food is not very good, place is dirty and noisy. Of the two servers in our section one of them could have not cared if she helped us at all. When I asked her for a knife she said "they are up there you can go get one for yourself". Wonton soup had no wantons, Most food did not have much taste and was not very warm. Lins went from a 4 to a 1 in my book. We ate there Wed evening and very late Thursday evening my wife became ill. Early Friday morning I was very ill as well, diarrhea, low grade headache and projectile vomiting, classic signs of food poison. I thought perhaps it was from the dinner we ate at home the night after, until I received an E-mail from the couple who dined with us that evening concerning our health, as one of them was very ill too. I called Lins to speak to the manager simply to let them know that there might have been a problem that evening and they should do an HACCP investigation to find the potential problem if one existed, but he was to busy to talk to me. I left this info with the person on the phone and she said she will let him know, she didn't ask for my name, number, nothing. I worked most of my adult life in Food and Beverage management in the military and as a civilian. I was also a certified Food Safety instructor. Their seemingly lack of concern, concerns me. Ive been here many times with family and friends. All I can say is every time I go it seems that the restaurant is lowering their effort. Before food seemed so delicious, the place felt really clean, and the customer service was coordinated. Now the food is not that good and is loosing taste. The places is clean but something about it makes it look like dirty, maybe the rags they use or the smell they have. The customer service is like whatever, to them is a routine. What I dislike the most is when they offer you a table and you want a booth they get mad at you. I mean we are the customers we decide where to sit and what to eat right? So why you get mad at me if I want a booth. I mean its available, why cant I get it. Anyways I hope they pick up their slack because it can go out of business quick when another restaurant comes and picks up expectations. Went for lunch. Paid $8.99 for the buffet and $2.00 for unlimited sodas. Food was suprisingly good buffet quality. Of course this isn't a restaurant but as far as buffets go, this one here is nice. I ate here on 12/14. The the restaurant and the food looked good and it didn't taste too bad. Unfortunately. I woke up at 2:00am violently ill! I thought I was going to need an ambulance. It is now the 12/16 and I am still sick. I am at the airport hoping that I can make it home to Seattle with out a mishap! The ironic part of this whole story is I noticed a couple of things that concerned me. The Sushi bar had at least six plates of sushi and there were only two tongs for serving, both were sitting in bowls full of water. I even thought to myself is this up to health codes? I should have avoided the Sushi bar. I also witnessed people sampling food while in the buffet line. I hope that I am the only one that got food poisoning though I have a suspicion that I am not. The pharmacist that I spoke to for a remedy told me that I am not the first person that told her that they got food poisoning from Lin's! I tried to call the health department on 12/15 but was on hold for 1 hour and gave up. Again I hope I am the only one to get ill from eating at Lin's on 12/14. If I ever come back to Yuma I will avoid this place! If the uncontrollable diarrhea does not stop by tomorrow I am going to the doctor. Pepto Bismal and charcoal pills have not helped so far! We went on Valentine's Day and they up the price about $5.50, a good way to turn people away. It will be a long time if ever we will return. Very clean. Food was good, and LOTS of it, too many dishes to try them all, big variety. Wait staff is friendly and efficient. We have gone there twice, once for lunch and once for Sunday night dinner. Both times they were packed with people. This buffet is great. I am here in Yuma on a business trip and picked this place to eat. Food is hot and plenty. Will come back again!
