    two bowls of ice cream

I got the ice cream sundae with 2 scoops and it includes a bunch little jelly toppings. The ice cream was really creamy and I enjoyed the banana chocolate flavour the most. They sell other hot foods as well!

Stumbled onto this place but when I saw the line up, I knew I was onto something. Just pointed to a poster and asked for the one with the jelly and chose random flavours. The ice cream is creamy and fruity, and if you get the one with the jelly there's fruit and nuts at the bottom. Is it me or is it super affordable for what you get?! 3 of us for $11.50... 2 small ice cream and the jelly sundae (the name I'll probably never find out but that's ok). Only 3 allowed in store and masks mandatory. I'll be back for more

the place is very small, but don't let that fool you. the ice cream is delicious! so fresh and full of flavour. they also have traditional sri lankan food as well. staff was friendly. plenty of pictures so you know what you're getting. stopped here quick before leaving toronto... will be back again for sure!!

Two scoop ice cream with nuts and chocolate drizzle topped with wafer for $4.75.

I love the ice cream from Lingan's Cream House. It's delicious and creamy yet is not excessively sweet. They have many different flavours, and in the past I have tried their pistachio, mango, Oatmeal cookie, cookies and cream and strawberry shortcake, and to be honest I love them all. Pictured is a 2-scoop cup with nuts, chocolate drizzle and wafer on top. I got the strawberry shortcake and cookies and cream since they did not have the oatmeal cookie (my fav) when I went in. Their price is reasonable too as it was $4.75 for the cup with 2 scoop. The line at this place is usually long since their ice cream is SO good. Will definitely recommend to try their ice cream if you're in the area. I have always been wanting to try their Falooda for a very long time since I have been hearing great things about it.

    Mango and pistachio ice-cream

A year later, I had a random craving for the ice-cream from here, so my friend and I decided to get some ice-cream before we went to work. The staff here are kind, but are not that talkative. Not a bad thing though. They are helpful. There are no seats in this store, so you must do take-out. The ice-cream here is pretty good! Definitely different from the ice-cream you get at supermarkets. I got a scoop of mango and a scoop of pistachio. The pistachio ice-cream is to die for, I loved it! The mango ice-cream was okay, I definitely had better.

The special with jelly at the bottom. Mango and pistachio ice cream with hot fudge and nuts

I came here with a few cousins on a hot day for some ice cream. They had a good variety of ice cream to choose from. I had two scoops. One mango and one pistachio. The mango tasted like mango lassi and the pistachio was very good but was expecting some chunks of pistachio nuts in it. We all had the special which has jelly at the bottom, a drizzle of hot fudge, sprinkled on peanuts and a waffle biscuit to top it off. Personally, I did not like the jelly. If you like jello, then you'll like this.

Randomly came across this place while doing errands, googled and found that it was featured on blogTO so decided to give it a try. They have canteen Sri Lanken food and icecream+desserts. My girlfriend loves icecream and she said the chocolate icecream was really good. It was smooth and not overly sweet. A size small was $3.50 and if you wanted the regular size that comes with this Sri Lankan type of jelly, it would be $5 something. I got this bright pink sherbet drink that came with jelly and vanilla icecream. If you like the taste of sweet pepto bismol go for it! I personally didn't like it and wouldn't recommend it. We also got fish samosas and mutton patties. There was a lot of batter but it was actually really tasty. Overall, the good: samosas and fish patties. The bad: the pink drink, slow service and small scoops of icecream.

4 scoops of ice cream (pistachio) -$6.78

Not all that impressed with the ice cream I had on this visit. I have been here once before and what I tried (mega scoop sundae) was better but pretty damn expensive. Overall, the products seem to lack in flavour to be quite honest. The pistachio ice cream I tried tasted overwhelmingly sweet and not much of anything else. This place was listed not too long ago as one of Toronto's better ice cream places. Though they do have many other ice creams and ice cream-based products that I cannot speak for, I am not all that impressed with what I have tried.

If you like ice cream and an over the top experience this is the place to visit. I never knew a…read moreplace like this existed in Toronto, although I've always been fascinated by the exterior of this place. This is a frozen dessert emporium! With more ice cream and frozen yogurt flavours than you can imagine. And at least 20 waffle cone and bowl options. Looking at pictures from last year, it appears the waffle cone options change regularly as well. But they don't give you just any ice cream cone. They surprise you with additional toppings! How to feel like a kid again (except my kid who didn't appreciate the extra toppings). When we arrived, there was no line and I thought "why are there three people behind the counter?" From that point on there was a line up out the door. The place itself is a feast for the eyes. There is so much to look at, it's hard to focus on eating. Although ice cream and frozen yogurt are their specialty, they also have Dutch goods, popcorn and a wide variety of drinks. It does feel like a European cafe in the middle of Toronto. Fresh air blowing through the open doors. One interesting thing I learned is that the ice cream is kosher (the frozen yogurt is not?). Someone mentioned it was outlined somewhere on the outside of the building. Also, the only negative feature of this place is the number of bees both inside and outside. As someone terrified of bees, this was a nightmare. Thankfully, there is so much sugar around that they don't focus on anything for any significant length of time. This place is a gem in the city. It does not get enough recognition. You love ice cream? You need to check this place out!

Even with that there are 3 or 4 tables for to enjoy treat and about a dozen Jones and waffle bowl options to choose from. They even carried hard to find speculoos cookies from Holland, a childhood treat, that I 'scooped up' and appreciated. Staff was super friendly and happy to be serving, which was extra nice. A treat and special place for certain, but worth a stop by when your nearby.
