My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. After yearssssssssssss of being afraid to take a Spirit Flight, I finally did it. When I say, all…read moreof the horror stories I have heard and seen on social media were NOT my experience. The Spirit Airlines website was super easy to navigate. I got on, created my account, booked my flights, and was all set within a matter of minutes. The confirmation provided all the details for my flight and my gmail was able to pull the details and add it to my calendar. 24 hours before my flight, the check-in reminder came and the checking process was super easy. I didn't have any changes or additions so I was checked in within a minute. Arriving at the gate was vibrant as the Spirit Airlines yellow set the tone for the area. The lines were long but the staff was smiling and friendly. As it came time to board, I was a part of Group 5 which is the bulk of flyers. Though the line was about 3 gates long, the Spirit Airlines staff had an efficient process for getting us out the gate area and onto the aircraft. Of course you can't do anything about the people who hold up the line, but the Spirit Airlines gate agents even had a process for them to step to the side. Woo Hoo! Once on board, the plane is standard size, and the seats aren't as tight as I have heard. I'm 6' 3" and though I didn't have ample space, I didn't feel like I was being crushed either. The seats don't have as much cushion as some of the other airlines, however, my butt didn't start to hurt until I was 2.5hrs into my 3hr flight, so I was good. The Spirit Airlines Flight Attendants are unique in style esthetic, however, their service was industry standard and they always appeared with a smile. As you pay for everything on the flight, the process of purchasing is easy and swift. The pilot was professional and ensured we had a smooth flight into the Boston area. He kept us abreast of weather changes, altitude changes, and gave us ample time to prepare for landing. I deplaned without incident and went on about my day. My return flight to Atlanta was the same experience quality. Coming back, I did add a carry-on ($70) and it was easy to add it during my check in process. Once at Logan, the kiosk was unable to scan my boarding pass, however the ticketing attendant put in my confirmation number and I was good to go. I tagged my bag, headed to the counter, dropped it off, and was on my way to security within 3 minutes. Thank you Spirit Airlines for the safe trip and streamlined standard operating procedures. You and the staff are appreciated.

Wish I could say zero stars …read more No chance. Got to the airport at 4am My flight 6 am got changed to 12pm, then 4:30, then 11:35.... Sat at the airport till 9, then found out the flight got cancelled at 8:45. They said oh we can get you on a flight for Monday afternoon..... cruise leaves Sunday. JetBlue no flights available. Had to go with delta only thing available was 1st class... $2908 later, we are now waiting at the airport until 4:40 pm to leave for Miami. We are going on a cruise and need to be there it's our honeymoon! Spirit offered nothing to help or assist other than we can get you there two days later.... I understand there is issue and delay and cancellation.... There's no weather no issues or problems with any other flights. Their absolute best answer was $30 for a future flight, respectfully kill yourself, that's the most pathetic service, absolutely. Long story short if you plan to do anything or fly anywhere never EVER take a flight from this company.... I suspected they do not yet support mobile boarding passes at Manchester Boston Regional Airport - and he confirmed this. Later, when waiting up at Gate 3 to board my flight to Dulles - the same United rep was now working the counter at the Gate. Nice guy and hard working! If your bag isn't on the carousel by then, go to delta.com/bagsontime and they will credit you 2500 SkyMiles. Returning to the airport and checking two bags with the ticket agent was easy. There are enough rope lines to have separate ones for economy and priority customers. The young lady was polite, thanked me for my business and provided directions to the security checkpoint. I paid for a carry-on bag, yet a flight attendant removed my bag from the plane at the last minute and told me it would be checked and delivered to my final destination. During my connection in Atlanta, the situation got even worse. The flight was delayed because the gate was changed at the last minute without any announcement. All passengers were waiting at the wrong gate until someone finally went to ask. Only then did they casually mention--over the microphone--that the gate had changed to another terminal about 15 minutes away. When we finally arrived at the new terminal, the gate was changed again on the screen, and there were no Frontier employees present to explain what was happening or assist passengers. When I arrived in Hartford, my luggage never showed up. Frontier has no employees, no office, and no baggage service desk at the airport. No one answers the phone, and I have been left completely on my own trying to locate my belongings. I am currently in a different state on vacation, without my clothing or personal items. This situation has been extremely stressful and has ruined my vacation. Frontier's lack of communication, organization, and customer support is unacceptable. I still don't know where my bag is or what to do next.

The plane was clean and modern. I was surprised to see 5 flight attendants for the flight, especially when the drink service is optional, so maybe only 30-40 people use the drink service... Anyway, you pay for everything, so for those who complain about that, they need to realize and understand that the business model for Frontier is such...if you don't like it, pick Delta, American, United, Southwest or Jetblue for example... The folding table was smaller than other carriers and the seat was not padded like other airlines...no recline either..... The overhead compartment was similar in size to other airplanes... Not bad for a few bucks !!!
