Baggage claim isn't too speedy but it is still very well within Delta's 20 minute guarantee. If your bag isn't on the carousel by then, go to delta.com/bagsontime and they will credit you 2500 SkyMiles. Returning to the airport and checking two bags with the ticket agent was easy. There are enough rope lines to have separate ones for economy and priority customers. The young lady was polite, thanked me for my business and provided directions to the security checkpoint. As an Emerald member with the oneworld alliance, I have always received complimentary seat selection on partner airlines. That changed with Royal Jordanian. I paid $140 for two seats that were clearly shown as a two seat row. When my wife and I boarded, we discovered the row actually had three seats. No one pays extra for a middle seat -- ever. My seat number was k6 and the seat has no cushion whatsoever, I had to stack pillows and blanket to prevent back pain Most incompetent company I've had to deal with. Called someone in Detroit to get information about the plane and flight, he gives me another number to call I believe it was in Chicago. I call that number, another person tells me we don't handle this, you have to call another number. Called that number, that person gave me the original Detroit number. I called Detroit back, another person answers and gives me the information I was asking to begin with. Not done yet. I finally check in and get on the plane, plane was gorgeous and flight attendants for most part were very hard working. Half the people on this flight were idiots, loud, arrogant, dirty and bathrooms even after a couple hours in flight were dirty, urine on the floor, clogged up sinks. Absolutely disgusting!!!! Like a fourth world country on a top of the line plane. I will never ever fly Royal Jordanian again!!!! Would rather pay twice as much and get to Amman in 3 days then fly this airline. This past flight was a good one, and it wasn't the crews fault, some idiot had a drone near Reagan DCA airport. Thanks to this fool, a lot of planes burned up fuel, and a big inconvenience to many. The pilot was golden about keeping us apprised, and a pretty takeoff and butter landing. Nice flight attendants too! Have flown with them domestically and abroad. They aren't an Air France or Emirates, but they get things done. Todays flight was a relative quick hop. They helped me rebook this flight, after a scheduling error on my part. We splurged on an air taxi from Vancouver BC to Astoria Or, we were returning from an incredible…read morecruise adventure and we're not interested in waiting hours at the airport, handling our 4 large suitcases, the TSA experience, customs or the car ride from our closest commercial airport to home. The air taxi was awesome..we departed from a private airport in Vancouver and flew over the San Juan islands directly to home after a brief stop in Gig Harbor to clear customs (we didn't even have to exit the plane). What would have been an all day experience only took 2 hours. It was an excellent experience well worth every penny!
