We were promptly and warmly greeted and seated by a friendly host in this popular Mexican restaurant. We sat in the bar which offers a 60oz margarita! The glasses are huge, of course. Salsa and warm chips came out quickly. The salsa was very good. We ordered from the lunch menu and I selected the Enchiladas Verdes. The food came out fairly quickly. The enchiladas contained a generous portion of well-seasoned chicken. I would have like a little more verdes sauce with the enchiladas. The beans were good. The meal was filling. I came here tonight with my wife and we couldn't have left happier. The decor is really fun, the service was great (and she was a new server!) and the food was even better. The meal started off with free chips and salsa. The chips weren't my favorite but the salsa was pretty good. I got the Al Pastor Tacos which were amazing! First time trying this place due to a coworker's recommendation and for the most part they did not disappoint. I went on a Saturday evening and surprisingly got seated right away. The place is bright and vibrant with its decor. All of the staff I encountered were very friendly and welcoming. There was a bit of a language barrier with my server who clearly didn't speak much English but we overcame that obstacle. I tried beef tacos and chicken tacos which were a nice size and good portion of meat. The chicken IMO had better flavor. I also had nachos which were pretty tasty. Prices were about average for most Mexican restaurants in the area. I didnt like the fact that they charge extra for queso with there complimentary chips and salsa as most places will just give it to you. Unfortunately I did not get pictures on this visit but Im sure ill be back and make up for that next time. Theres ALOT more menu to try! read more

I really loved the environment. There is a fountain in the middle of the restaurant and the decor is so bright and fun. I got the Birria Tacos and they are pretty tasty but kind of dry even with the sauce. They came with some onions and cilantro on the side. If I could leave more stars I would!! I was hesitant because of the reviews but I am so glad I went. First off, the decorations here are like nothing I have seen before. There are so many details in everything that you can tell they put a lot of thought into making this place. The food was absolutely delicious as well. Visited for Cinco de Mayo. As expected the place was very busy with take out as well as with customer expecting to dine in. The restaurant holds various seating arrangement, but with the covid restrictions at the time, not all were being used. Our table was in what seemed like a private party room. Due to the room being off to the side and out of everyone's view we were forgotten about. Once we were able to place our order our server was honest enough to say that it will not take less than 30-45 minutes. We ordered tacos and a plate of rice, beans and fajita chicken. We got the complimentary chips and salsa, but noticed on the menu that we would be charged for refills. That's new, and I was feeling understanding at that point. Our order was taken in a timely manner and the food was served super fast and was hot. I ordered the taco salad. I've had it before and it's always been a favorite. It had NO flavor at all. The ground beef had NO seasoning, not even salt! It was awful. I had to dump the bowl of salsa in it for some flavor so I could eat it. My daughter ordered something with shrimp and her food was just as bland and unseasoned. I spent $40 on two entrees. We both had water and didnt order any extras. Tried on three separate occasions. First time, staple in my food. I actually bit the staple...staff didn't seem concerned at all and didn't even offer to remove the item from the bill. Second time, there was plastic wrap in my food. We decided to try a third time. We waited about 15 to place our food order. My husband's food (Chile Colorado) had zero flavor and mine was so salty (Veggie Quesadilla) I could not eat it. We each had one bite of our food and we're given a 50% discount. Again, manager not concerned and we wasted $30 on food that was inedible. Mexican style tacos were so good with salsa verde! The cheese dip wasn't very good though, and the piña colada was subpar. The biggest dealbreaker was that we ordered fried ice cream, and were served ice cream topped with oats and then covered in whipped cream and chocolate syrup so we wouldn't notice. This has been my favorite mexican restaurant since I discovered it back years ago. They have/had the best natural flavor margaritas, not the syrup. In the past i have never had a issue with drinks, food, or service. I drive from the other side of town to come here. Not sure what happened today. Usually i don't come in that early, 12pm. Also encountered staff I've never seen before. The drinks weren't as strong as usual & the food was smaller portioned, my chimi had more veggies than chicken usually COMPLETELY the other way around. I usually have huge chunks of chicken I sometimes remove part of. It was not hot. I didn't say anything because I dislike having these issues in public which is why i go where i know I won't have to be put in that position. The server barely checked on me. Disappointing for sure. Portion size is very good but salsa can be a little inconsistent, im guessing it has to do with whomever is making it that day, however, it has never been bad. We have driven from Kokomo just to have dinner here many times. I've tried several different dishes but recommend the Pollo Azteca or fajitas. Been coming here for 8 yrs. Usually the service is very good, with attentive wait staff who come by often. Tonight was a very sad exception. I was seated to my table by a middle aged Mexican lady. She got me my drink of water and did not come back to my table until she had the check ready for me. 30-40 minutes I had between seating and paying and she did not come by once. I had to flag down someone to get my order placed into the system. Just made me incensed and sad. I will be back but will not accept her as my wait staff. :( read more
