We ordered three flavors of cupcakes for our event, Carrot, Lemon and Red Velvet, and all three received so many wonderful compliments from our guests, especially the carrot cupcakes! They were definitely the favorite. Ordering was easy, the person on the phone was pleasant to work with and knowledgeable. Pick up was smooth as well. I would definitely use them again, and would recommend this bakery to anyone looking for their services. Thank you Lindmair for being part of our celebration, your cupcakes were delicious! The perfect amount of moisture in the cakes, flavorful frosting, and well balanced sweetness. Very happy with our order :)

I ordered a birthday cake from Lindmair after reviewing multiple bake shops in Riverside. They are located east of Van Buren in an older shopping center across from Stater Bros. Nestled in the back of the shopping center, their store is quant and down to business. Their service was clear every step of the way, straight forward and simple. I placed my order based on their recommendations and pickup was set for a few days later. Their prices were fair and realistic for being a custom bake shop. Upon arriving for my pickup, the cake was decorated, and ready to go. I went with a red velvet and cream cheese filling. Everyone at the party loved the look of the cake and how it tasted. I will definitely come back for all my cake needs. Keep up the great work!

Everyone loved the taste of the cake. I had white cake with lemon filling and whipped cream frosting. He was able to incorporate the theme of the party along with something about both parents. Just wow! My husband found this local bakery gem when he was looking for the perfect birthday cake. He ordered the strawberry tres leches cake based on one of the reviews and it did not disappoint - literally the best tres leches I've ever had. The kicker was that they were able to make the cake the book cover to my favorite book!!! See attached video. My husband came in looking for a regular cake but Lindmair was able to help my husband take my bday cake a step further and providing some creative ideas. Lindmair over here saving husbands plus my husband thought they were just going to draw a picture of a book they ask the image of my favorite book. Anyways so happy and excited to make it a tradition of getting our cakes here!

10/10 customer service 10/10 cake I called on a Wednesday for a Saturday pick up. Sent a picture of the inspo I had and they were able to recreate it. The confetti cake with fresh strawberry fillings was so good and not dry AT ALL. I wish I had leftovers!

I found Lindmair through Yelp as I needed to find a bakery near my work for a coworker's birthday. I originally placed an order for a quarter sheet cake over the phone with Dennis. I was very surprised that he did not ask for a credit card to hold the order. Not receiving a confirmation number, I was concerned that I would go to pick up the cake days later and would be told that there was no cake under my name. As a result, I decided to visit the storefront in person to pay as well as to order a larger cake. Plus I wanted to know where it was in case I was in a hurry when I picked it up. I ended up ordering a half sheet cake as I needed to feed 40 people. Lindmair is located in the Magnolia Plaza in the far left corner of the lot. I was surprised by how the operations were run. Very old school. The orders were taken on a plain piece of paper, no order form with the logo of the bakery; no computer input. You do not receive a formal receipt; only a small receipt with the total you paid. I was greeted by Dennis. I asked him how long the bakery had been in business for. He told me they opened in 1977. They must be doing something right to survived the pandemic. I ordered a lemon cake with raspberry filling and buttercream frosting. I picked up my cake days later. It was not ready but I was OK with waiting while Dennis finished decorating the cake. The decoration could have been a little more fancy but I like they decorated it in the color I asked for. Upon picking it up to walk to the car, the cake was heavier than I expected. The flavor of the cake was great. It was moist (I hate that word but it does describe it). But the filling was fantastic. I wasn't a huge fan of the buttercream. If I return, I will try the whipped cream. I received lots of positive feedback from my coworkers. Numerous people mentioned they would buy this cake for a party of their own. The cost was a bit higher than I expected but given that the cake was from actual bakery and not a grocery or box store, I was happy with the quality for the price. I like supporting small businesses. Bottom line - yes, I would buy again for Lindmair.

Brian from Lindmair Bakery was so easy to work with. We had some cake tasting for free. We picked different flavors for each tier. Cake was so good that other people wanted to find where it's from. No wedding hiccups from the bakery and everything went smoothed. The florist decorated the cake but the bakery was also open to decorate as long as you bring them the flowers. Cake cost is very fair, $290 for 3 tier cake (80 people), and this includes delivery. We had the top tier for leftovers. I definitely recommend!! Hope it was closer to LA. read more

Looking for a real bakery, no store but a true baker and came upon this one, read the reviews and decided this would be my choice as everyone appears quite pleased! Awesome! My sons girlfriend ordered a birthday cake from Lindmair while she was visiting her parents in New York. She placed the order and paid all at the same time. I've purchased three WONDERFUL cakes, super last minute from this bakery and each time I was blown out of the water by the quality of the cakes. The cake itself is super moist, always a great flavor and I've had a coconut flavored cake with vanilla custard, also a vanilla cake with fresh banana filling and each was amazing. The creativity and their ability to follow prompts is the best part to me. I don't really tell them much (because most of the time I don't really have a vision for it) and they always make my family's day with their decor execution. I had ordered 3 cakes for my sons big day (5 years old).The employees were very helpful from helping me pick out everything, to the day that I picked them all up. I had quite a few people asking me where I got the cakes from because they were so good! As far as pricing goes, I feel like it was fair and affordable. I have nothing but amazing things to say about this bakery. I called in the morning with an emergency request. I needed a pregnancy announcement cake for the next day. They were so accommodating! I couldn't believe it, I expected them to tell me no. They were able to get me my cake made and it came out exactly as I had hoped. Not only did it look great it was delicious! The white cake was light and fluffy and the buttercream was smooth and delicious. I am returning for all my future cakes and will definitely recommend this place to family and friends. read more

When searching for a bakery to make my wedding cake and cupcakes, Lindmair Bakery was suggested to me by a family member who had previously used the bakery for events at her church. I had a small budget, but knew exactly what I wanted: something simple and delicious. I was given lots of cake flavor and filling options, and they had tons of pictures of cake designs to choose from. I picked a simple two-layer red velvet cake with cream cheese filling and simple white buttercream frosting. Just the flavor and look that I wanted. The day of my wedding (5/21/2011) the cake was ready at the time promised, and looked beautiful - all I needed to do was add some of the flowers from my florist and everything tied in beautifully. The best part, however, was when it was time for me and my new husband to cut our wedding cake and feed that first piece to each other - the cake was absolutely delicious, light and delicately flavored. Our guests loved the cake too, obviously, as they devoured the entire cake AND every single one of the cupcakes - and I thought I had ordered enough for everyone! Way better than a heavy grocery-store cake that people leave left over... The day definitely turned out to be a success, and I feel lucky to have had such a good experience with some great local companies. I'm definitely going to go back to Lindmair in the future for birthdays and other events, and of course, recommend them to my family and friends. read more

First time ordering from this bakery and we will DEFINITELY be back!! Ordered this 1/2 sheet cake for our parents' 50th Anniversary and we couldn't be happier. They did an outstanding job and the lemon cake with raspberry filling was so very delicious! Even the so called "non-cake" eaters ate it and said it was so good! We always come to this bakery! One year for my sons first birthday, a family member offered to buy my sons cake, they didn't go to lindmair. The day of the party we needed a smash cake! I called lindmair and asked if they could have a particular designed smash cake and they said yes! It was done in a few hours! Lesson learned! Just go here first. read more

Let me start off by saying it's a scary area. Lots of homeless people hanging out in the small parking area. Once inside the bakery, it's small rundown, looks dirty, no AC and hot, boxes/supplies all over the place. Let's get to the cake, it was good. It was what I asked for. Reasonable priced . Customer service, bad. Personally will never return. I had to really force myself to enjoy the cake due to the sanitation/cleanliness in the bakery. And the horrible customer service that isn't even worth me writing down. I will spend my dollars elsewhere. read more

Beautiful design for my nephew who LOVES airplanes. They did exactly what I requested. He loved it and all the guests were asking where I found the bakery. Thank you google and Yelp for the reviews. The cake came out super well, they followed the reference picture I gave them, but made the different color adjustments I asked for. Definitely recommend this bakery! They were able to make me a 3 tier cake just 3 days before my event after my usual baker told me she couldn't make my cake when I had already ordered way in advance. So I called them this morning about a quote on a boxing themed baby shower cake he gave me a quote on just a layered white whip cream 11" cake with fresh strawberry filling at 60$ at first then I mentioned that I have pictures of how I want the cake so he gave me a number to send them and said he would give me a call back he passed no call so I just called to see if he even got the pictures he answered said yes but he doesn't work with fondant/gum paste so recreating the boxing ring or gloves wouldn't be possible so I said okay well how much for just a 10" layered all white whip cream fresh strawberry filling cake no decorations just cake he then proceeded to quote me $69.99.... WTH!!!! That's more then you originally quoted me for a 11" layered white whip cream fresh strawberry filling smh I couldn't believe it! So disappointed read more

Lindmair bakery has been our family's favorite place to get birthday cakes from ever since I was a kid. The customer service is always the best. Today I had to call in a 911 as it was my grandmas 90th bday. I live out of town and not only did Brian make it happen with in the hour but the cake is absolutely beautiful. There's rows and rows of fresh baked daily goods. Every piece is individually wrapped. Not only sweets, there's also sandwiches which I didn't even know they had. Along the front where the cashier is, whole cakes and slices are available. Once you finished picking out what you want, take the tray to the counter and that's where they ring things up. Drinks can also be ordered there. I did pick up a couple of boxes of the individual pastries and sweets. Both savory and sweets. A while strawberry cake and two drinks. That came up to about 108.00. The staff were all pretty sweet and friendly. I overheard one of the other cashier asking another patron if they wanted something heated up. Which I asked the cashier that was ringing my order up but she couldn't heat my croissant up as it wasn't the pre wrapped sandwiches. Only sandwiches could be heated up. Oh well.
