Butch is a great guy to talk while you wait on your food. The food is great as well. Love the biscuits and sausage and gravy, they also make a great southwestern omelet, if you like a lot tell them to put sausage, ham and bacon in it. read more

My son and I were down from NY and we're looking for breakfast; and not fast food. We walked in and the (I assume) owner seated us and apologized that they were a bit short staffed today and that out food might take a bit longer than usual. I told him we were in a bit of a hurry, and we stayed anyway. He seated us, got us menus & drinks, and took our orders. We had our food in 15 minutes. And it was good! My interactions with the folks were pleasant and the place was clean. Highly recommend! Next time we're here, I'll definitely go again!! read more

I went here because several people told me that it used to be really good when Linda was still involved. Sadly, that is not the case now. The food is average at best and most tastes like it came out about of a can. Think more hospital cafeteria food than anything else. I even went twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch hoping that maybe one of the meals would be good old country cooking. It's also pricey for what you get. "Meat", two vegetables and bread with tea and tip almost $12. No thank you. read more

Best breakfast place in town. I come here every few weeks for my favorite breakfast. This restaurant is clean, the staff is awesome, they make you feel comfortable and at home, the service is extremely fast, and the food is excellent quality and you get a lot of food for your money. I usually get the 2 eggs over medium, city ham, grits or hash browns, toast or biscuit. The ham is huge and fresh, no gristle, the biscuits are made from scratch and soft and tasty. The grits are good and thick, and nothing is greasy, even the hash browns. The owner is a GREAT guy that cares about his staff and it shows, all of his employees are happy and love their jobs, and that translates into a good experience for all. I'll be back many more times and highly recommend. read more

Decent home cooking, nothing to write home about. The service is hit or miss. sometimes it's great, other times its McDonalds quality.

Excellent southern diner food. This is a regularly stop for me and my little family. My 14 month son loves the food, and when he isn't eating super well, we tend to take him here to kickstart his appetite. I recommend the daily specials, as it's quickly prepared and delivered, but the overall menu is large. Breakfast served all day, but keep in mind it closes at 3 or so. Easily the best restaurant (in terms of consistency and price) in the county. read more

I was in the field for work and came across Linda's Place. It seemed very busy. The customer service was amazing. Different members of the staff stopped by and asked were we ok or checked to see if we needed a drink refill. I ordered chicken tenders, black eyed peas, and sweet potato soufflé. Everything was decent, for the price. The tenders and the black eyed peas could have used some more flavor, but it was still edible. I probably won't return because I'm never in that area, however it is worth a try. read more
