Still our favorite Jefferson's around here! Haven't been in a few years, so wanted to make sure it was still up to par and it was great. Went in on a Monday afternoon and sat the bar. Service was great. My double dip extra crispy was wonderful. Beer is still flat though (Miller Lite). Get the bottles or something else on tap. My husband said the fries were not good today, but he enjoyed his boneless wings. Overall great experience! read more

Much needed update on their reviews so I'm leaving a more recent one. Visited today for the first time at this location. Greeted immediately as we walked in. Our server, Miss Jordan, was extremely friendly and perfect with her service. Even answering questions we had and on the spot sweet tea refills. Forgot how delicious and tasty their turbo sauce was and it did not disappoint. Slight lack of flavor with their onion rings but nothing major at all. Their in house yummy ranch fixed that minor problem. Well done and will be returning soon. read more

Dive with personality. Best wings? We would say they are up there. Like 7 out of 10 for the area. Solid food. Corn nuggets are a nostalgic item for me. Served hot, again, like I like all my food. Got a fried chicken sandwhich with a number of sauces. You will get messy. My friend got the 15 wings. You get to choose 2 sauces for that size. Both sauces were supposed to be moderately spicy. She said they were not enough spicy. So be bold in your choices here. We had a hiccup. Two less wings in the basket. Waitress and management solved the issue perfectly. I was out working in Rockmart, Ga & before heading home I stopped by Jefferson's. They had a wide selection of burgers. It was so hard to choose from but it was delicious! Used to visit this location a while back and it got to where it was no longer good. Not sure what happened but gave them another shot today and the food was very fresh and delicious. They have a tremendous selection of chicken wings and many sauces to choose from,as well as chicken sandwiches that you can get the sauces on also. That's what I'll be trying next visit. The service was wonderful as well. The waitress knew a lot about the items on the menu and even recommended her favorite, which is what I tried and it was wonderful. The patty melt! The restaurant was very clean and his tables started emptying. They came right over and cleared the tables. A very wonderful experience. We will definitely be going back. read more

I enjoyed it! The ambiance is friendly and fun. I swear all the locals come here! The service was a little lacking, but the waitress was very young and still learning. I ordered the hamburger steak platter for $14.99. The platter is the only dish that came with 2 sides. It had 2 large hamburger patries, aka steaks, over Texas toast; with grill peppers, onions, and mushrooms. I asked for the brown gravy on the side (thank God I did that, btw), for my two sides - potato salad & onion rings. The onion rings rings where to die for!!!!! they stole the whole show, super crunchy, fresh, the batter was so tasty, im addicted to them now! The potato salad reminded me of the publix Mustard/mayo based salad, so it was a familiar taste, so thumbs up. The burgers were dry, but only because I really disliked their brown gravy (took off a whole star due to the gravy *sigh*). Just use any other dipping sauce or their homemade ranch, plus the side dishes and grilled veggies to make them more tasty and jucy! Service was very very disappointing. I called in an order, nothing special. Cheeseburger, fries and a salad. Arrived to pick up. Gave the bar my name. She had a couple other orders. I patiently waited. Waited waited waited. She asked what I ordered. I told her. She checked. Said she didn't have my order. I verified the number I called she said I called the wrong location. I actually didn't- I gave her the wrong number in my phone. I forgot I had called someone else around the same time. Anyway- I called the correct restaurant and showed up at the correct place that I placed an order at. She forgot to place it. Then the gal was telling others that she had forgot this guy on hold for like 15 min and couldn't believe he was still there. So she said to me - I guess I can put a rush on it. I waited 10-15 more minutes. Nothing was ready. I put this place down as a hit n miss place. It maybe on point at times- but not at others. Good luck! read more

Arrived on a Saturday night with four adults and two children. We were seated right away and it was a few minutes until our drink order was placed. Due to the wait, we placed our order. Then additional time for not only our drinks but food as well. Food was delivered one person at a time, and we had to ask for silverware. Again, more of a wait. Negative issues - The chicken fingers may be fresh but arrived cold, and the sauce was to be on the side. They were coated in sauce. Fries were requested without salt. Arrived with salt. Other members in the party ordered onion rings. Arrived cold. Not even warm. A side of Mac and Cheese was ordered and it appeared about the time we had finished dinner and was informed by a food runner it was extremely hot. Had to ask for our checks. Issues must be in the back of the house and walking by the kitchen the floors had a number of empty boxes and trash. I see no reason to return to this establishment. read more

We ordered online and it was ready when it was supposed to be, The waitress was quick to give us our food and they were very busy at the time. Also the food was hot and great! It was after 8, so not many options in Rockmart, so we decided on Jefferson's. It had been one of go-to places in the past, but I hadn't been in over a year. This visit was horrible from start to finish. The waitress tried to seat us, but we had to stand there while she wiped the table off since it was not clean after having been bussed already. We sat down and a roach was crawling on the side of the table. We should have left at that point but we were hungry. We ordered and waited for our food. The fried pickles can out first and were undercooked. Instead of being nice and crispy, they were doughy and soaked with oil. We each managed to eat a couple but normally the whole basket would have been devoured. The entrees came out and they were fine, but the sides were sorely lacking. I got mac and cheese which was barely warm. Another person got the potato salad which he said was so gross he didn't finish it. The waitress was AWOL most of the time - not just not at our table, but not visible anywhere in the restaurant. It took forever to get drink refills and when we were done, another waitress (older lady who was great!) came and got us our carry-out boxes. When our waitress finally showed up, the other one had done the work for her. We paid our check and were happy to leave. Sorry to say, we won't be back. read more

Today was stupendous over my last visit to this Jeffersons location. In fact, it's been a couple of years. They have changed the management and have a newer menu and I enjoyed both very much. There's just a hip, laid-back vibe here and you find yourself settling in quite quickly. I had the fried shrimp basket with hushpuppies and mac & cheese. I couldn't eat the mac & cheese because I was just too full. It made a great evening snack! I have posted the new menu and a couple other picks. If you're ever in this area (Rockmart) Jefferson's is a solid choice. If you had a bad experience in the past, stop by a give them a try. I think you'll be glad you did! read more

We have tried Jeffersons three time now in the last three months and it has been hit or miss. First visit was great - good food (wings and burger) and friendly, responsive server. The second time was horrible - downright rude and entitled servers and cold food. Went back a third time and sat outside. Server was friendly but had no idea what a Beam and Coke was. The TV's outside couldn't show any of the games because apparently they weren't connected to any of the channels showing them. Not sure if we will return. read more

They need to get their stuff together if they want to stay in business. First the side salad literally came with rotten lettuce. The waitress commented that 'they have lots of people complain about their salads' which prompted my boyfriend to cancel his chef salad order and have to reorder a different item. I really wanted to like this place. My family and I we were excited to finally try this place out. First off this is a Southern restaurant and the sweet tea tasted almost unsweetened or watered down. Our waitress told us that they are not allowed to put more sugar in it and gave a look when I asked her to just take it away, because it didn't taste good. From that point on the service went way down hill. We were ignored the entire time and basically had to raise our hand to get the young ladies attention. First off I understand business ownership and employees like this make the experience really bad. I don't want to call anyone out, but for once I honestly didn't want to leave a tip, but did so anyways. Our food was just ok or even blah. The wings had no flavor and was charged to get sauces to add flavor. For a $35 meal I expect better service and def. better food. If one is going to not meet the standard the. The other should pick up the slack. How is this place packed and with this service and food quality. Sorry Jefferson's. World famous wings is a bit of a stretch. Jefferson's doesn't seem like much at first but do not let the exteroir or the menu fool you. Jefferson's is a hidden gem of North Georgia. The cuisine is Contemporary American and features wings, burgers and sandwiches. Order anything, it is all excellent. Food comes out HOT and cooked perfectly. I had the Fried Pickle Burger and my friend had the Lemon Pepper Wings. We also had the Cheese Sticks for an appetizer. Usually most places phone it in on the mozz sticks but not Jefferson's. This is how mozz sticks were MEANT to be served: hot, stretchy cheese and delicious dipping sauce. My burger was scrumptious with sweet potato fries. My friend left no wings on her plate. I cannot recommend Jefferson's enough. read more

I have visited here several times and everything I've had there was good.... except.... I been wanting a Philly Cheese Steak sammich for a long while. I saw that Jeffersons had one and was happy to order one.... The sammich came out and looked just like a Philly Cheese Steak. Now a PCS has thinly sliced steak, cheese, onions and a hoagie bun. Lets talk about the steak. The meat ( if it was meat ) was dry. I assume the cow that donated that slab had died of dehydration on some arid plain some where in Argentina. The processor then hung it in the sun to make jerkie but changed their mind and soldit to Jeffersons. The cheese was provolone....a mild soft cheese.... this was very mild.I couldnt coax a flavor out of it with a bribe . The onions were scorched beyond burnt but provided the only taste the sammich offered....and it was strong and really bad. The bun was commercially baked and the cooks at Jeffersons didnt bother adding their touch to it for which I am grateful. The service was par for the course for Jeffersons. Iffy. I will eat their wings til the cows come home but will shun the rest of the menu like the plague. read more

Have no complaint about the food. If you want to be treated as if as your business is inconsequential then visit Jeffersons in Rockmart. Service is typical of most franchise restaurants where employees are difficult to find. But this restaurant has found a way to scrub the bottom of the barrel. So today was my first and last time eating here. I drive past this restaurant on a regular basis and always see the parking lot packed, so when I finally got a chance to try it I drove out of my way to do so. I ordered the baked oysters. I figured there would be enough black pepper to taste but not over power. I was wrong it looked like the dumped a tablespoon on each oyster. It was so over powering I couldn't even taste the oyster. Because I ordered the oysters I paid Market value , when I asked my waitress if it came with sides she said no but I could add fries for $0.99 I asked for the sweet potato fries she said that it would be a little bit more. I had no problem with that. Those ended up being almost $5.00. I was a bit upset because I was expecting like $2 that's a little bit not a difference of almost $4.00. I really felt like my waitress was scared of me or just didn't want to serve us really. The girls who brought out our food were wonderful though. Especially when I had to ask them for the other half of our order that hadn't been brought out. I don't want to be all negative so here is why they got 2 instead of just one. The lemon pepper wings were delicious and cooked perfectly as well as the sweet potato fries. My check total was just under $54.00 before tip. I normally would tip $20 on that check amount because I've worked in food service and know how grueling and unappreciated the position could be. Today I only tipped $10. Some of the reasons is 1) my waitress seemed like she wanted to be at any of her other tables than mine 2) I stacked the dirtied empty plates on the end of the table as we finished them they were still sitting there when we left 3) the wings we had ordered and wanted first came out last and only after I asked about them. I really hope our waitress was new and this was an isolated incident. But it was enough to make me not want to go back. read more

At our table, we had: Jefferson's Chicken Platter French fries Sweet potato fries Side salad Chicken Parmesan platter Onion rings Mac & cheese The chicken from both meals was like the chicken you get frozen at Sam's Club. Very thin, no real flavor, has a slightly rubbery consistency. The Jefferson's Chicken was that breast with a slice of American cheese melted on top and two meager strips of bacon. The chicken parm was the grilled chicken smothered in tomato sauce with a sprinkling of grated Parmesan cheese on top. The fries and sweet potato fries were undercooked and soggy. The side salad had multiple pieces of bad lettuce in it. Our waitress said they get a lot of complaints about the salads. Maybe they ought to try fresh ingredients. The mac & cheese was out of a box. The onion rings were pretty good. Overall this is a huge disappointment. Not just because I literally just threw away $30 but because there's such potential in this location for this type of restaurant. I won't be back, except maybe to remember this day as I drive past Jefferson's on my way to some other place for a decent meal. read more

Disgusting. We eat at Jefferson's in Cartersville around once a month maybe a little less... We're actually closer to the one in Rockmart. We thought they could not be that different... We were wrong! My husband's chicken wings were overcooked as if it had been reheated... They got my order completely wrong. I asked for a dry rub of lemon pepper and Cajun seasoning and got half lemon pepper wings and half Cajun wings. The Cajun ones had hardly any seasoning and were under cooked. The lemon pepper were seasoned correctly but overcooked. When you think you spend around $50 for meal you cannot even eat... Definitely not going back! It's worth the extra 5 miles to go to the one in Cartersville for sure. read more

The best tasting onion rings next to Bobby Flays "Bobby's Burger Palace"! Also the best darn pickle chips ever! My family and I come from a part of the east coast where pickle chips are a big thing. That said I never found anything close to where we're from until now. The pickle chips are actually like chips. Very crispy and not oily at all. Sooo good. Now onto the onion rings. One of my favorite places before we moved here to get onion rings was always Bobby's burger palace. Any other place I ordered onion rings from I would always compare to there. I must say Jefferson's onions rings give Bobby Flay a run for his money. Everything that my family and I had from the menu has been delicious with the exception of two things. Their coleslaw and macaroni and cheese is bland. I'm also not a fan of going into a restaurant and not being seated. That whole pick your own seat is not my thing. I had lunch here today with my family and will definitely be returning! I was hesitant after reading the other reviews but everything was wonderful! We had the fried mushrooms and corn nuggets for an appetizer which came out hot and fresh. Then, I had the Jefferson burger with fries. My husband had the double cheeseburger with fries and my kids had the cheeseburger with fries and grilled cheese with apple sauce. Everything was hot, fresh and delicious. Not only did I have to call 3 times to get someone to answer when they answered the phone they asked me to hold and then put the phone down and never picked it back up again. This is one of the most discgraceful places I have ever order from. Not only did I not get to order any food. I sat on the phone for those 30 mins listening to the workers laughing and giggling around instead of taking my order and it was so shameful of a business to treat their customers that way.
