We had the chicken tender meal with Macaroni, the Beef brisket sandwich with Brunswick stew, and a Chicken salad sandwich with creekside potatoes. Everyone loved their meal and everything was very filling. The sweet ladies there were constantly checking on us and making sure our cups stayed filled. The drive getting to creekside was not only beautiful but the history along the way made it that much better. The ribs....fall off the bone...some of if not the best ribs I've ever had...I can't wait to carry my girlfriend here to not only go hiking on the PinHoti trailhead but to stop at creekside again! LOVE this spot. Right by a pretty little creek at Rolater Park in Cave Spring. The outside patio is awesome in the fall. Everything they have is great. Try the brisket and the smoked meat loaf, in particular. They close at 3 except for Sunday when they close at 8. We always go for dinner on Sunday. Definitely check it out if you're in Cave Spring on the weekend. read more

The service was excellent but the food was bland and not worth the price. I agree with some of the others here that a lot of the food was just "nothing special". I think a microwaved meal at home would have been more flavorful. read more

Stopped at Creekside for a bite to eat. We had visited the Cave Spring GA wanted to grab something to eat before the long drive home. I'm glad we picked Creekside Restaurant. i hachbrif burger, which I can't recommend highly enough. The side potatoes were good too. T got the smoked meatloaf with hpuse tater salad and the Creekside spinach. He had nothing but compliments and cleaned his plate. We will stop in here again next we are through Cave Springs. read more

Amazing place to eat with the great atmosphere on the Creek Bank! Wonderful staff and the food is excellent!

My husband and I stopped here for the first time yesterday and were pleasantly surprised! We sat on the back deck near the creek since it was a beautiful day. I ordered the fried cod sandwich minus the bun and it was very delicious, fried in a light batter to perfection! The home potatoes were delicious, and the beer was cold. Hubby had a giant BLT with baked beans and loved it. The wait staff were all very friendly and we even had a nice conversation with the owner when he stopped by to check on us. I am telling everyone I know that this place was exceptional and very affordable!! read more

This place is amazing! It's like going to your big families house for Sunday dinner. Everyone talks and treats you like you belong. Music was fun and loud, wine pouring and tasting going on, and the best: excellent food! The seafood platter is just amazing. Huge shrimp, perfectly battered fish and delicious sides. Each platter is big enough to share with 2 or 3 people! Next time gonna order something different. read more

Started off with Salmon cheesecake. It was great. Really great ribs. Ribeye steak was cooked perfectly and tender. Side dishes are all excellent. Prices are reasonable. Most definitely recommend this place. read more

Father's Day... we decided to take a mini road trip and go to Cave Springs... we've passed thru headed home from Alpharetta several times but it's always after dark and late so we have never had a chance to see anything. This restaurant appeared to be the only one open so we decided to try it. Our server was attentive in the beginning and then pretty much forgot about us after seating us, getting our drink orders, and bringing our food. We had to ask Carla, who was definitely on the ball, for drink refills and pretty much for anything we asked. It wasn't crowded - especially with social distancing. We were really disappointed in the food overall. Ordered the chik salad and pimento cheese appetizer since we'd not had breakfast or lunch and it was close to 3 PM. It was really just plain dry shredded cheese and dry pimento cheese with some wilted lettuce and a basket of crackers. We ordered the fried cod and fried shrimp meal but only received the cod and had to ask for the shrimp which came some time later - the sides were macaroni & cheese and pinto beans... the fish and shrimp had a good taste... the mac & cheese and pinto beans were unremarkable... no seasoning, no taste. Reminded me of being in a nursing home with elderly people who can't have anything but bland, dull food. We also ordered a ribeye steak with grilled shrimp, a side salad, and mashed potatoes. The steak was very tender but was heavily seasoned and really salty tasting... too much! The mashed potatoes had no seasoning. We had to ask for salt and pepper to try and make the sides edible. The side salad had blueberries, strawberries, green & red grapes, cucumbers, red & yellow peppers, fresh tomatoes, and wilted brown lettuce! Sad because it could have been a really good salad! The blue cheese dressing was homemade they said and good. Overall, very disappointed, especially for the price of $71 before tip! The steak must have been super expensive because the other food items were fairly priced. There were no prices listed on the menu for steaks... just a note to ask about them... they only serve NY strips and ribeyes. We weren't actually given a ticket at the table, just told to go to the register and pay... the owner runs the register and just adds up your ticket by looking at the hand written order. He uses a POS system like most others do these days... he did ask if we wanted a receipt but at that point, why? The owner talked to us a couple of times and is very nice but they need to work on their food. They haven't been open very long... 2018 I believe he said and they closed for a month due to covid. Hoping they make it but they will have to improve on the taste of their food, especially for the prices they charge. read more

We found this place by accident while we were in town for a geocaching event. The first thing that pulled us in was the plume of sweet smelling smoke from the back of the building. Unable to resist, we went inside. My wife ordered the chicken club special and I had the brisket platter with beans and Creekside potatoes. We shared the sandwich and the brisket. It's an unassuming building. When you walk in , you are warmly greeted by the owner and staff. We sat on the deck outside by the creek. It was a beautiful day. We ordered coffee and water to drink. An unexpected high quality coffee. Water comes from a pure source. The salad and vinaigrette dressing was delicious! I was sold on the ribeye . He hand cut it once I ordered it! It was a great cut and perfectly cooked. The first steak that I remember not being able to finish, it was huge. My wife got meatloaf. She said it was the best she has ever had. Good was fairly good. Everything else was chaos. Waited over 20 minutes to be seated. Waited 30 minutes to find out that they only had 1 half smoked chicken, and it would be 30 more minutes before another was ready. It's hard for good food to make up for bad service. read more
