3rd taking the 40 minute ride to Cave Spring. This time just to eat here. Very reasonable prices, cute rustic charm. Good service. We had the fried green tomatoes for an appetizer. Then the 16 ounce prime rib and a 12 ounce ribeye. We are steak snobs and these past the test with flying colors. Will definitely go back. read more

Really really good little steakhouse. I like the 12oz. ribeye but everything is great. It's always cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes, grits, broccoli and asparagus are all solid side choices. The baked potatoes are fantastic as well. It's a small dining room that's warm and comfortable. The servers are great too. I would recommend going for lunch or an early dinner or late dinner. Expect a good wait if you show up from 6-7:30. But you can put your name in and go next door to the shops and look around until they call you on your phone when your table is ready. Definitely give it a shot. read more

Thanks for ruining my wedding night. I have been wanting to try this place for over a year since I moved to Rome. Waited an hour and a half to be seated. Had ordered food and was waiting. My young son was crying, which is reasonable after waiting that long to even be seated. A young male worker came to the table and asked me to step outside until my child finished crying. I asked if they discriminated against families and he said, "This is a steakhouse and not a daycare, people pay good money to eat here." Which is funny bc I was also paying good money to eat there and had waited just as long as everyone else. It literally left me in the restaurant in front of everyone crying. It's hard enough having a young child and I am doing my best. All I wanted was to have a nice dinner with my family on my wedding day. Even the family next to us felt awful and said the staff was rude. If this restaurant isn't family friendly they should let patrons know ahead of time so we wouldn't wait 1.5 hours and could go elsewhere. read more

We had heard such great things about this steakhouse. It did not disappoint. We both got filets husband had his cooked medium, and I had mine done mid-rare. Both steaks were juicy, cooked perfectly to temp, and full of flavor. Decor was lovely, brick walls and plenty of booth seating. Art on walls is from local antique dealer and available for purchase. Our server was helpful and she was understanding when I specified to be sure I received the mid rare steak. Most steakhouses assume the man gets this temp-and we usually have to flip our plates. Cheesecake for dessert was very nice. Overall great experience. Price was not ridiculous either! read more

Came for a birthday gathering, party arrived in two groups. First group was seated. Second group was not despite tons of open seats. We were told the kitchen was too busy. Then the hostess yelled at the waitress to hurry up. Then they told us to wait 45 minutes. Then they were seating new walk ins off the street. When it was trying to be sorted out the manager started interrupting everyone. Would not recommend. read more

This is our 4th time coming to Linde Marie's and it is consistently good! Yes, there's a wait, but that is always a good sign and usually you do not have to wait long. We only ever order the rib eye and it's worth it. This is my hometown and I would have never thought I would be coming back for steak. The staff is very attentive and efficient. Had the worst experience ever! Was at Linde Marie's Steakhouse in Cave Springs, GA. What a disgrace. Some of us were seated and My daughters and families were waiting to be seated. The staff seated people that came in after them. My daughters had requested separate tables. The staff refused to seat them. The staff stated their kitchen couldn't handle the load. But they kept seating other families. When we approached the manager and questioned his logic he got defensive and started a confrontation. read more

Just a by chance came across this steakhouse and WOW so glad we gave it a try. It was a bit of a wait (45 min) but so worth it. I had the filet and my husband had the prime rib. Both were cooked to perfection (medium) and had amazing pepper flavor. For the side I tried the cheese grits! They were so good I plan to try the shrimp and grits next time. They're closed the week of the Fourth of July and the week after. Seating is first come first served, and it's a popular spot so prepare for an hour or hour and a half wait for dinner. The service was great and the food was even better. I highly recommend the cheese grits. We always heard great things about Linde Marie's and couldn't wait to try it. I would say it is really good, just quite not up to the hype. We arrived at 12:00 which is opening time and they had already pre seated other people. We were told to wait 10-15 minutes. We ended up waiting about 45 minutes and almost left. Once we were seated they were only utilizing half the seating. It's a small space to begin with. I wonder if they were having staffing issues that day. The food was good and the steak was cooked perfectly. This is the kind of place that is really good, but not one of those places you would drive an hour for. read more

My wife was really looking forward to checking out this place based on the word of mouth she had heard from several people. After a day of exploring in the area we were more than hungry and ready to check out what all the hype was about. Mistake one, totally our fault, they were packed out and it was quite a wait to get in (no deduct to them for that, they got us in as quickly as possible). There were a few places that stayed open late since Linde Marie was so busy, so we shopped until it was about time for our seat to be ready. Menu is nice and has typical steak house stuff available. Obviously we had to try the steak and I can't express enough how disappointed I was that yet another steak house was incapable of serving a steak how I asked for it to be served. Service was not great and it took forever to get my food sent back so that it could get cooked properly. Just kind of put a damper on the whole experience. Prices are a little on the high side, but if you can back it up with quality service and food/food prep then I don't mind it so much. Not when they aren't able to cook a steak to order though. My overall impression, obviously is not good. It looks like several others have enjoyed the experience and maybe we just caught them on an off night. I probably won't be in a rush to come back and find out though. read more

I really wish we had been able to try this. We wanted an early Valentines date night and chose this as a special Location. We got there at 5:10 and put our name in. The wait time was already an hour and twenty minutes. So we decided to wait. After an hour and a half we checked our place in line and were told another 20 minutes. After another 30 minutes we checked again. So after 2 hours and 15 minutes we left. 10 minutes later they finally called to tell us our table was ready. I told the guy hosting we had just left because we had waited over an hour past the time we had been told. Without an I'm sorry or offering us reservations for another day, he just hung up on me in mid sentence. I'm guessing from the crowd the food would have been good but the customer service was the pitts. read more

There just isn't anywhere better, I don't care if you travel 5 miles or 500 miles. The food, the ambiance, the service and the town of Cave Spring right outside! There's not much on their menu that we haven't had and it's never been anything short of exceptional! AND, if you like pie - I will tell you call ahead and make sure when you're headed that way it's a day that they have their made in house coconut cream pie. It is right from heaven! Awesome food and exceptional service. My wife has a number of allergies as well as celiac. They were able to accommodate her and ensured there was no cross contamination. We're always hesitant to try "unknown" places and have walked out of restaurants we weren't sure were taking her seriously. They were awesome, and no issues afterwards! I always try a tiny bit of the "rind" to see if it is house cooked or packaged Prime rib. This, comes in a package. I'm a chef and this was terrible. Ok this was definitely not the experience we have had in the past. Even though we have had road blocks by the host in the past couple of years we have been there, we really wanted to take our son to get a good steak for his birthday this weekend. As I had expected road block hostess had attitude. We knew they did not seat large parties and so we explained to the hostess we could be broken up into smaller tables and that would not be a problem. Well for some reason the management could not conceptualize this idea. Yall it was crazy, it was almost like our family and friends were being punished for having 16 people that wanted to eat there. They had half the dining room empty, made our daughters and grandchildren wait at the door, and seated people of 6 and 4 tops after ours had been waiting. We were told by the manager that orders had to be placed 30 minutes apart before others could be seated. Then it got even worse from the rest of the staff. The most unprofessional staff I have ever ever seen in my life. Yes they have good steaks but they are not the only ones. Until management is held accountable for their unprofessionalism, we will enjoy steaks somewhere else. And what is even crazier, 8 of the 16 had already placed orders which were cooking and at the end of the night, the management caused Linde Marie to lose a lot of money by not not serving 16 people that just wanted to have a family birthday. I am having a hard time even giving the management a one rating right now. Our waitress that we had temporarily was excellent and embarrassed because of the managements treatment of us,l. The manager even brought out the cook and the bartender to put pressure on us to leave and even stood between my husband and the waitress while he was trying to tip her for what she already done for us. Yummy!!! This restaurant takes reservations for their limited seating. We were visiting town during lunch and poked our head in the door and made a reservation and looked around downtown while we waited. The service was great and the food was delicious. We've been regulars here for a while, pre corona we'd come in at least once a week, when covid started and the dining room was shut down we were happy to continue supporting this local business ordering take out over the phone but as soon as the dining room opened back up every time we'd call the service has gotten worse and worse. Today I called and was told they no longer take orders over the phone and was hung up on. What restaurant doesn't take phone orders, they were extra happy to take our phone orders when the dining room was closed but now they turn their back on loyal customers, very disappointing. Spoke to a guy on the phone named Matt who claimed to be the manager and he sounded like an arrogant prick and was no help at all, we will not be back. read more

Living about 30 minutes away, we had made a couple of attempts to eat here, but the wait was always excessive. We finally had the opportunity to arrive early, and we're glad we did. Small town rustic atmosphere, friendly folks, and excellent steaks and sides. The Shrimp & Grits Cake appetizer was very good, and the steaks perfectly cooked and presented.
