Living in Fullerton and tried several beauty supply stores, but Linda's Beauty Supply is by far the best. They have everything I need and the staff genuinely knows their stuff. First time I went looking for hair dye and was overwhelmed by options. The staff asked about my hair type, scalp condition, and what result I wanted, then recommended the perfect ammonia-free dye that didn't damage my hair at all. Color came out exactly as I hoped! Needed hair wax for styling - they showed me 3 different types based on hold strength and finish (matte vs shiny), explained ingredients, and let me test them. Found one that holds all day without feeling crunchy. For my curling iron, they had high-quality ceramic ones with adjustable heat settings. Recommended temperature settings for my fine hair so I wouldn't burn it. My daughter needed hair ties that don't damage hair - found gentle fabric ones that actually stay in place. They even had cute colors she loved. Hair extensions? Perfect match for my color and texture. Showed me clip-ins vs tape-ins, proper application, and maintenance tips. Looks completely natural. Wigs selection was impressive - synthetic vs human hair, lace front vs full lace, different densities. Staff helped me find one for daily wear that's comfortable and breathable. Scalp care is where they really shined. I was dealing with dryness and flaking. Recommended tea tree scalp serum + clarifying shampoo combo. I "never" write reviews, but after today's phone conversation regarding the purchase of hair with "Sue" - who is the manager - I found her to be very rude and disrespectful. Could not (not knowledgable) or did not want to be helpful. I have been wearing hair extensions for 30 years (purchasing high quality hair for a very long time - Italian, Indian, etc....). Prices are way too expensive for the quality that you get. The sales person wasn't in any way persuasive and getting me to spend three times as much as I already spent. At somewhere else She was deceptive she gave me a different product than when I asked for inside of the case with a very lousy quality, And explain to me that it was better. So I come here time to time and already left a five star review, but felt I needed to update after the handful of times I've gone to Linda's only to have to wait for the staff to finish deal with ridiculous, self-entitled, stupid customers. Seriously mad credit to the team at Lindas for handling such stupid people with their professional attitude. I am stuck in line behind idiots who are mad that they can't return an item even though there are signs everywhere saying "all sales final", or stuck waiting on customers who think they know more than the staff. Seriously? I don't know how the staff at Linda's deals with such unbelievable customers, but hey as long as they sell Suavecito & face Masks at their prices, I can wait a few extra minutes for the rude customers before me to get on with their day. At least the other customers aren't rude to me. I swear next time I have to wait behind some person who thinks they know more than the staff, I am just going to blurt out "I think they know more than you, hurry up so I can go." She was so friendly and helpful and tolerated the millions of questions I had regarding hair/makeup l, due to my limited knowledge. -Sue answered questions and KNEW the answers on hair, makeup, and basic beauty (washing your face etc) -great prices! -TIP: if your hair stylist shops here you usually get a 15% off extensions -I was definitely satisfied! So I have been coming here for a few years and haven't always had the best customer service! Just one certain employee who is pretty much always there . In fact, the first couple years and handful of high priced purchases it was downright horrible but if I wanted my extensions right then that's my only choice as I am a fan of their Good Morning Tape In hair and they are the ONLY ones who carry it as I think it's their own brand or something? Well then I had to deal with it . Not only that they have always been overpriced imo so I subjected myself to the mean employee and the high prices but hey I wanted the hair and though I can buy better hair online I don't wanna wait for it and sometimes I need to see the color in person depending on what I'm up to with my hair that time. Such is life! Well what's funny is the last 4-5 times I have been there and purchased hair or decided not to if they didn't have the right color or what not the SAME girl has been nothing but sweet as pie to me!! It's so weird . Mind you I have always spent a lot of money there and even more meow since i buy more hair and prices have gone up as well. But still she is so sweet meow and helpful and doesn't get all annoyed . So hats off to her for changing up her attitude because it means a lot to me not to have to feel like crap when I go in there! The prices still are super high and have gone up even more recently on the hair I use. Naturally like everything else so I wasn't surprised. Though it did go up significantly. I spent over $900 this time for two packs of 22inch tape in and 3-4 individual pieces of 18inch in the same color for the top of my hair and since I estimated I would need a few more pieces and half packs were not a good deal! Go figure you think it would just be half the price! Nah. I was ok with paying that much because in the past I have had really good results with this brand and it has always lasted me quite a long time. In the past I have always purchased lighter colors in this brand only . Darkest being maybe a level 7 dark blonde. This time I believe I purchased a level 4 which was more like a 3 mixed with 27 a lighter blonde . It has washed out to be this dark still on top and much much lighter towards the ends to the point where it's still very striped in the top areas of the piece and all blended towards the bottom with no noticeable difference in color variance . Annoying . So there is the first issue and the least problematic of this disaster and waste of money I'm dealing with right meow ! Second and most worrisome is how much hair is lost from shedding ! More than half its weight is gone and still going every time I brush my hair which tends to be often as it's so dry it tangles and no matter what I do to alleviate that it never is any better . I had never bought or had extensions put in my hair before, so I really didn't have any idea where to start. The girl at the store was very helpful. She immediately pulled out 2 different color hair extensions (I have highlighted hair, so it wasn't an obvious color). She advised me how much I will need, and the price was typical for extensions (from what people tell me). People at the wedding I was in, loved the extensions, and said it fit perfectly with my hair color. I would totally recommend this place for extensions. read more

Prices from 85-150 Ex: medium quality for 120 is what i purchased Two, They install the hair extensions via rows. Each row cost 30 bucks! Note: cash only for installation Three, everyone varies in rows. Ex: I have thin ASIAN hair , but I have plenty of hair, so I only needed 2 rows . Outcome , satisfied. Now for all you bored yelpers ! Here's my long elaborate story of my experience there. I called and made an appointment easily! The girl was super nice. I was an hour early to my appointment , so I did wait a little but she went over my hair and stuff with me while I was waiting! Nice!!b She let me touch all the different hair and quality. Didn't try to upsale me to the most expensive brand . Just let me decide for myself! Super nice!! The process took an hour! But it went by fast cause I was messing with my phone!! Omgoodness I was so happy wih the end results! She cut it evenly to blend with my normal hair and went over how to keep up with it ! But if you read my previous reviews! I'm no noob when it comes to fake hair. This place is by far the cheapest friendliest fastest and best experience I have yet to encounter. So, if had been coming here to get my extensions, Bohemian Gold. I bought hair here twice with no issues. Then I bought a pack of hair had it installed and when I washed it (with Pureology) the hair dried up and felt like Barbie hair. I called and they told me nothing could be done.. I was out $300. So I didn't go back. Then about a year later I was in a pinch and I thought "maybe that one time they got a bad batch of hair" so I went on bought blonde 18"s. Walked out $300 later to have the exact same issue. Only this time, my stylist who installed the extensions washed them and they turned into a big knot that matted and had to be cut.. after we finally detangled them they were so dry and stuff I had to take them out. I took them back and they offered me $90 store credit AFTER months of waiting for them to hear back from Bohemian (they had sent them back). When I went to spend my 90 bucks on shampoo and other items they said it could be only used for hair. I didnt buy the hair. Fast forward another year and I can't find curly hair anywhere. I'm desperate so I call and they have my hair, the curly doesn't look as tight as it should but I buy it anyway because the girl tells me once I wash it ill see the curl better. The quality of the hair is good but there is no curl, so now my super curly hair doesn't match my extentions. The last time is on me, I knew better not to go here but I was desperate. I went to this store based on reviews that I had read in search of clip on hair extensions. To my surprise they did not carry anything less than 18 inch. The girl ( did not get her name) seemed a little bothered to help but she did and she just kept telling me that I would need to use toner on these extensions because of my hair color. I was not about to try and tone down a 140.00 set of extensions. It seems they have a variety of extensions but a little too pricey. I left and went to another place where I found 14 inch and the color that matched my hair. read more

I come here pretty often but today i received horrible service and walked out and didnt even get anything. I called the place at 7pm to check their closing time, the girl that answered said 730. I told her i was on my way and should be there by 720, she kept saying we do close on time so make sure youre on time, i repeated to her over 5 times on the phone my ETA of 720. Then she basically said that i need to have my selection and be out the door by 730. I got there and 720 exactly and mentioned to her that i thought the way she handled the call was unprofessional to which she replied, sorry but we need to make sure that we leave on time! Seriously??
