Alright y'all so I finally made it back to try the food, and let me tell you...it is delicious! My sample size is small (n=2), but that just means I'll be back to try more! We got there right when they open (4pm). They have happy hour from 4-6pm, which includes half off all food. By about 5pm, the whole place was filled. We tried the lobster corndog and popcorn chicken. Both were amazing. I loved the lobster corndog -- so unique. It comes with a mustard sauce drizzled on top. It is only about two bites though, so sharing it was ehhh... we probably should have just gotten two. Next time I'm here, I'm vowing to give the pizzas a try! read more

I came in with a friend around 10 PM last night Wednesday December 11th , the bar closes at 11. I ordered 2 beers total that were $9 each from the dreaded bartender. I tipped whatever the machine recommended ($5.75 or something) so I paid $23-$24 total. I check my credit card statement today and the criminals there decided to add themselves extra money to my bill. My bank is showing $59.76 for 2 beers. I'm disputing with my bank ( already called them) and will be calling Lincoln social soon. So, beware if paying with a credit card here because they will commit fraud and add a huge tip for themselves you didn't authorize. You disgust me. read more

Really awesome rooftop patio! If you're looking for a place with amazing vibes and aesthetic drinks that are strong, Lincoln Social is the place for you. Aside from the view of Columbus from the top, they also have different areas with a fireplace for you to enjoy. Seating here is very relaxed, with a choice of couches or comfy booths depending on what you prefer. Service here is quick even though they are fairly busy during after work hours. It's the perfect place to come to if you're looking to enjoy happy hour drinks after work or just to relax with some nice cocktails and appetizer dishes. The food portions here are pretty small for the price that you pay. Lincoln Social is definitely more a place for drinks and not for food. Even though the portions for food are small, the taste is delicious! Good to have some delicious appetizers to snack on while having strong drinks. There is only street parking available and it's paid parking. During peak times it may be hard to find parking close by. read more

First time here and I thought it was a nice rooftop bar with a great view of the city. The service was good. We just grabbed a couple of drinks so I can't provide much insight on the food. They did have a great bourbon selection. Overall it was a perfect spot for a business drink. I'll have to come back to check it out for a more social occasion. read more

We had a terrible experience at Lincoln social .My friend and I ordered drinks (which I paid for, including for three other women we sat with who welcomed us to their table). A server came over and told us she wouldn't serve us because we didn't have a reservation-even though we weren't asking for service. She then asked us to leave, despite no one at the table having a problem with us being there. To make matters worse, she said she was calling security to remove us, and when we left peacefully, a police officer got into the elevator with us. It was unprofessional, humiliating, and completely unnecessary. We were respectful and had already paid. The whole situation felt hostile and left us-- and the other guests-confused and uncomfortable. I'm shocked I haven't left a review for Lincoln Social yet considering how many times I've been. The ambience: can't get much better than the location/views in the Short North. There is a covered and an uncovered area for seating, and the uncovered seating area has a fire pit. There are large booths for larger parties with a pretty boxwood wall, and there are plenty of high top options as well. The Happy Hour is amazing! Half Off All: Food Well Spirits Wine bottles under $100 $6 Red or White Sangria Glasses $5 Drafts TUESDAY - THURSDAY 4 - 6 PM; SUNDAY 2 - 4 PM I feel like I always get a heavy pour with my drinks, but the food portions aren't huge. What an excellent addition Lincoln Social is to the downtown area of Columbus. Went here a couple of times and it was extremely busy both times (Friday evening and Sunday at opening). Be prepared for a possible wait if arriving here during prime hours. It is definitely a plus to have the open air flowing through the entire area based on the design and the views are great. Despite how busy it gets the service doesn't get slowed down, as they have an adequately sized staff. Although some might not like is, I did enjoy they had audio on during the Ohio State football game. If you are sports fan this isn't a bad spot to catch the game since there are TVs in the immediate bar seating area. They have a decent beer selection and the "bites" on the menu were selections I would choose again, including the Barbacoa Taco, Shrimp Taquitos, and Chicken Meatballs. The Cheese and Meats offering from the Shareables section of the menu was also a hit. My initial impression was so good of this place that I brought some friends back a couple of days later after my first visit and if I lived in the area Lincoln Social would probably be a frequent spot of mine. read more

This is the worst bar experience I have ever had in my entire life. Everything started out fine when we came in before a show and had one drink. We went to a show, and then went and had dinner and decided to come back for a few more drinks after dinner. When my husband and I ordered another drink for ourselves, we waited over 20 minutes and never got our drinks. We asked our waitress where our drinks were and were told they were on their way that the bar was very busy, but the bar was not busy. I went up to the waitress and told her that one of our friends wanted a drink as well and to add that to our order and then that is when we were told that we were being "paced" because we had been there earlier. But we had been there many hours earlier so I don't know what she was thinking. The manager was standing next to her and got very rude and in my face and told me if I didn't like it, they were going to call the police and have us escorted out. I said that if that was the case, then we were going to leave so I went back to the table and told our party that we were going to leave. At that point the management had already called the police, who then forcefully escorted us from the bar, even though we had been peacefully sitting there, enjoying our drinks the entire time. And on top of that, they tried to charge us for the drinks that they refuse to service us! I guess they didn't like having a party of slightly older people in their bar and wanted us to leave. I have never been so rudely treated in my entire life. I would not recommend this bar and I will never return. read more

Lincoln Social is my favorite rooftop bar in Columbus. The weather was beautiful yesterday so I immediately made plans to go for happy hour. It's a trendy, busy spot with great views of the city. It can get a little pricey, but the happy hour deals are phenomenal (half off ALL food!). Their menu is full of small plates and appetizers that are perfect for sharing. I ordered the lobster corn dog because I was so intrigued and it was AMAZING. I also ordered the brussel sprouts which were delicious and came which thick, flavorful chunks of bacon. I can't wait to go back and try more dishes. This bar is perfect for both all seasons and makes a romantic date spot or a fun place to meet up with friends. A couple friends and I went here for happy hour. First of all the decor and views are breath taking. Very modern with a cool vibe. The server was nice but didn't offer much detail. He was very transactional and matter of fact. We had questions bc we had never been here before and we were all about food and drinks. The food was amazing. I feel like we tried everything. We had the Brussels, wagyu stix, yard bird which is ginger chicken meatballs with sweet chili, pizza, and a prime slider. Everything was sooo good!!! The only downside is that when you order the stix, it's for 1. The meatballs came 3 on a stick. The pineapple smash drink was just ok. It tasted more like bourbon than rum. Super impressive. Heard all about it all the rage and was never skeptical but definitely my first time was long overdue. My BFF and I hit this Sat night via reservation and there are two kinds of Rose: sparkling or still. Lovely fire outside to chill while you wait for your table. It's been a few years since I've been here so I thought I would update my review. We went pretty early this past Saturday and had a reservation. It was considerably less crowded this time around which was nice. The ambiance is very open, with greenery, lights, and you can't beat the view of the city. We ordered mock-tails, and some appetizers, and a few of my girlfriends ordered actual cocktails. Most of the food was really good. The LS roll which I used to order at M is shrimp tempura with beef carpaccio, cream cheese, and asparagus. It's phenomenal and honestly between that and the cucumber lemonade mock-tail I was in heaven. We also split the mojo shrimp, meatballs, fried oysters, and truffle fries. The only things that were slightly disappointing from my last visit were the time limit on the table as some of the appetizers we ordered were a bit small and our server was sweet but wasn't super attentive so we did not have time to order additional food and drinks before our time was up and wished we could have tried a few more things. Definitely will be back though at some point to try more of the menu items! Great spot for a night out in the city. read more

I have been to Lincoln Social multiple times and I love it every time! The weekends and evenings can get packed, so I recommend trying to beat the typical rush of people (happy hour and dinner time). The drinks here are incredible. I got the pumpkin spice espresso martini and it was the perfect amount of pumpkin in a drink. We also got the prime rib sliders and they were the perfect snack. I went here with a group of friends for happy hour on a Thursday. My first impression was that it has a great vibe and good views. They offer a bunch of specialty cocktails and of the ones I've had they're all very good. It's a little pricier but if you go for happy hour you can definitely get the best bang for your buck. For dinner we all shared the tater tots as an appetizer and the Lincoln and diavola pizza. The tater tots were to die for and both pizzas were very good but were more so personal sized pizzas. Stumbled up on this location while I was on a layover in Columbus. It's on the 9th floor very cute and a great view. Happy hour here is great! Had the Sangria very delicious. I wanted to try a bit of everything and I was very excited with the fact that they have a bites menus. My favorite was the Beef Satay, the togarshi with the plum aioli phenomenal, so good. Had the Shrimp Tacquito it was also very delicious. I was not a fan of the meatballs good taste but, I feel it being chicken gave it an off taste. We came to Lincoln social on a Sunday afternoon. There was a group of 9 of us celebrating a 44th bday. They accommodated us with a table clear in the corner even tho the whole restaurant was empty. We ordered from the Sunday happy hour menu...2 bottles, 5 apps and a few other things. The server came back telling us they no longer do the Sunday happy hour. Hmmm well why do I have this menu in my hands listing the Sunday happy hour? We still went thru with all of it but moved on to a new spot. Wow! I haven't been to many rooftops, but I gotta say, I really enjoyed the atmosphere of this location. Open air rooftop with a great view of the city. Open top patio portion that had a beautiful firepit. Loved the greenery they used on the beams above and the day in itself was beautiful which made the environment even better. Warm with a slight breeze blowing through the space and beautiful cocktails to accompany our relaxing time sitting at their high-top bar stooled tables. One thing that we thought that was a little funny was that their birthday cake shots didn't taste like birthday cake. They sort of tasted more like a strawberry shot. We've come here a few times for drinks and always take our friends visiting from out of town here. Never fails to impress with the fun vibes and great views. We came this week for happy hour and that was awesome. It's half off all food, which is an incredible deal. We got a little bit of everything (tacos, shrimp, chips/guac, pizzas, popcorn chicken, brussels). I think after 3 cocktails each and all that food, it ended up only being about $60 with tip person because of the happy hour prices! Favorite items were the campari pizza and the shrimp taquitos. Chips and guac were really tasty too... chips are warm and seasoned. Guac was really fresh tasting. We ended with a round of espresso martinis and those were good - not too sweet. I went to c heck this place out before a work happy hour on a Thursday. We were not able to reserve a table for 15, so I got there ahead of time and scoped the place out. All of the regular 4 top tables were reserved and the place was very busy for 4:30. I sat at the bar by myself and got a drink. Soon I asked for the menu and ate a wygu slider and lobster corn dog. It took a while for he food to come out but as the name of the bar, I was social and started talking to someone so my food seemed like it didn't take as long. It ended up being worth the wait; at least for the lobster corn dog. It was so tasty and cute, I could eat them all day! The slider was nothing special but still tasty I guess. Next I ordered their marshmallow cocktail which I shouldn't have bothered doing as it has Hennessy and that's usually not my cup of tea. I drank it anyway. Later in the night some co workers came back here with me and it was packed. The staff there is amazing and even though there weren't tables out group was able to stand around and have a great time. This is easily one of my favorite bars in the whole city and my favorite rooftop bar. All of the cocktails are amazing but so are the regular highball drinks or anything you want, they can make it! The events are awesome as well, especially for New Years. The food and bites have changed over the years but are always good. It's more relaxed on Sundays and when the weather is nice the windows are open and they have a fire pit on the patio side which overlooks downtown.
