Guilin rice noodle

Good place for a quick late evening bite! They had a good selection of dumplings / noodles / bao and service is relatively quick There are self order kiosks at the front of the store with plenty of tablets also. The environment was fast casual with a decent amount of seating

Pork and 10 Piece Pork & Fennel Dumplings

This spot is so good! Needed to grab a quick bite and went for the Pork and Fennel dumplings. Couldn't get enough of them. You get 10 pieces for $13.95.. what a deal! The dumplings were made to order and came out barely 10 mins after. You order on a kiosk up front and then either wait for your take out or have a seat at a table to be served. My only qualm is that they should have music playing or something so it doesn't feel so quiet in there! I hope more folks try this place out, the dumplings were very delicious.

Tiny Spot, Big Flavor Only a handful of tables (4 four-seaters and 3 two-seaters), but don't let the size fool you--this place serves up some seriously authentic noodles. Each bowl is packed with bold, traditional flavors that hit just right. The space is spotless and cozy, and the friendly service makes you feel right at home. Come for the noodles. Trust me, it's a hidden gem worth slurping up!

Relaxed cafeteria vibes with ordering kiosks and a good variety of dumplings. Everything came out fast and the flavors were great! There was too much to try in one visit, so I'm looking forward to coming back to try more. I loved how soft the bao was and how crispy the bottom felt in contrast. Good for fast service and a variety of choices!

This was my first trip to Lin's and overall experience was good. They're known for the pan fried buns which were fluffy on the outside and had a nice crispy texture on the bottom with a good flavorful filling of pork and shrimp. The spicy won ton was also good but I could've done with slightly less of the garlic but knowing that some folks love some extra zing. The item we looked forward to the most was the beef brisket noodle soup. While it was a good portion of beef and noodles my only knock was the soup while flavorful wasn't hot and more lukewarm. Could've been an anomaly so hopefully on our next visit it'll be hotter. The spice level was good. The service is no frills either order on the tablets or the QR code and then find an open table. The interior design is plain and simple but yet clean.

- delicious bao and handmade noodles- We came here around 5:30 pm for YFG malatang on Thursday, but it's already busy as hell so we stopped by here instead to try things we haven't tried. We got the pork and cabbage buns (5 pcs) 豬肉白菜包子 $12.95, pork & chive dumplings (10 pcs) 豬肉韭菜餃 $12.95, and one handmade noodles with shredded chicken 雞絲手擀拌麵 $15.99. The ambiance wasn't too good since the only group dining there was a couple with kids, and they seem to be really impatient with their kids. The kid accidentally knocked off a glass of water or something, and the mom was quite pissed. I really think they should play some light music here as it isn't good for my mental health lol. The noodles came after 5 minutes and they also gave us a free side dish. The noodles were mixed already and the sauce was delicious. It has sesame sauce with some sort of vinegar as it's more sour. I rarely eat anything like this and it's satisfying, but I just wish the noodles were hotter as it's on the warm/cold side. The dumplings also came right after and they provided sauce (mostly soy sauce and it's quite standard). The dumplings are delicious but nothing super special. The bao came out at the end and it was better than the boiled dumplings. I was hoping they'd have pan fried dumplings too, but I didn't see the option. I usually don't eat the outside of a bao (I know, don't judge me lol), but their bao was delicious and crispy. It was just us dining in after the other family left. I felt like they are struggling with business, even though they do have takeout orders. I think they mainly get their business from takeout of people who don't want to wait for ygf malatang... It's a shame since they actually have decent food.

Not bad but nothing amazing. Green beans were very salty. If I came back I would only get the Shanghai pan fried buns. Nice flavor and great texture. Small restaurant with not a lot of seating.

Chicken Wonton

I've been craving for a place with good wonton like I had when I went to China. I finally found the right spot! This is perfect for a breakfast meal. The service is not all that great, and neither is the dough stick, but nonetheless I would still come back here for the wonton soup alone!

Great new dumpling place taking over the location of Little Ting's Dumplings. They are even using the same old bowls. Billed as Grandma's recipes, it does indeed taste like home made. We had the pig's ears as well as pig's head meat cold appetizers. Both were perfectly crunchy, numbing and spicy. Certainly whetted the appetite for the dumplings to come. Since it had just opened, obviously they hadn't gotten their system down yet. Service was harried, slow and a little haphazard. But everything came freshly made, hot and delicious. The all-shrimp wonton in soup was perfect. Great texture on the dumplings, thin skin and umami soup. The bok choy in the soup was crispy and fresh. I thought that the best dish we had were the Shanghai pan fried buns. The tops were pillowy with nicely crispy bottoms.

Perfect meat to dough ratio (sheng jian bao). But could've drained the oil off more before serving.
Big E.

Best example of sheng jian bao I've had in years. Super thin wrapper. Juicy inside. Perfect meat to dough ratio. Perfectliy browned bottom. Only minor complaint. Dumplings were served in small puddle of oil. It made it less appetizing. They could drain the dumplings better after pan frying, and/or serve on some parchment paper or greens to soak up the oil. Other than that, please keep in mind they have very small dining room and limited counter style seating. Prepare to order takeout or visit in off-peak hours unless you want to wait for a seat. I wish I had a bigger appetite for the rest of their menu. They have a great selection. I'm curious abou their har gow (crystal dumplings). at almost $8 they are hopefully high quality?

my mom makes better dumplings and i wish there was more variety in terms of appetizers. but the shrimp dumplings and wontons are a solid choice.

Mushroom noodles

I pleasantly enjoyed their dumplings and hand pulled noodles! The mushroom noodle dish was delicious and it looks as if I didn't make a dent the portions are very large for a good price too. They also served a sweet tofu dish before our food cane out that I saved for dessert. The service was really good but that also may have been because there was no one else in the store besides us. I would say that they are more known for take out than dining in but it's nice to have the option. Also being the only ones in the restaurant was nice in its own way.

First thing I noticed when I looked at the menu was that the prices are very LA, but before you let that deter you, hear me out: the portion sizes are significantly larger than what you'd get for the same price back home. So in terms of value, you're actually getting a much better deal out here in Redmond. One thing that genuinely caught me off guard; they let me bring my puppy. If you're from LA or the 626, you already know that's basically unheard of. Redmond, Washington is on a whole different level when it comes to being pet friendly, and I loved every second of it. As for the food, it was great overall. The mala wasn't too numbing, which I appreciated, it had just enough kick without overwhelming everything else. The garlic a-choy was perfect, honestly no notes. The braised pork belly was good but I wished it was a touch softer, and I personally felt like my dishes could've used a little more salt or soy sauce, but that's an easy fix and purely personal preference. Would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Sweet juicy shrimp meat paired with unique roasted tea scent, super flavorful and crunchy all around. A rustic Cantonese wok stir-fry: Sautéed Streaky Pork with Lyophyllum (Deer Antler Mushrooms). Lean-and-fat marbled pork is wok-fried to render aromatic lard, developing subtle caramelized sweetness. Dried deer antler mushrooms absorb meat gravy to deliver a distinctive springy, woody chewiness unique to this wild fungi. Whole garlic, spring onion and fresh red pepper introduce bright herbal and peppery accents, while restrained dark soy glaze unifies all components into a deeply umami-forward savory masterpiece, ideal pairing for plain steamed rice. Garlic stir-fried you mai cai is fresh and crisp! Savory garlic aroma, natural sweet vegetable taste, a healthy light side dish to go with rice and meat.

I also really appreciate that they ask whether you'd like tea before bringing it out, so you're aware there's a charge. A lot of dim sum restaurants automatically serve tea and add it to the bill without asking, so I like the transparency here. Everything is always fresh, flavorful, and reasonably priced. My favorites are the shrimp shumai and sticky rice, but I've enjoyed everything I've tried. The customer service is always friendly and attentive, and there's plenty of parking, which makes every visit easy. We ordered shrimp rice roll, har gow, football, shrimp with eggplant, shrimp with bell pepper, spare rib, Xiao long bao, sautéed pea tips, chicken feet, meatballs, shrimp and chive dumplings, tripe, and mango pudding. I really liked the filling in the football, which contained ground pork and mushrooms, not so much the flour for the outer layer. I also liked the tripe, pea tips, and chicken feet. They were delectable. Other than that, it seemed a bit plain. I didn't really like the chili oil they used, it was more like a sambal. I'm glad we ended with the mango pudding for dessert. The mold for it was so cute. Hopefully next time I come here they change up the chili used.

From the moment you walk in, the cultural atmosphere stands out--many of the patrons are Asian, and on my visit, a few were even dressed in traditional garments, which added a vibrant, lived-in feel to the space. It's the kind of detail you can't manufacture, and it speaks volumes about the restaurant's credibility within the community. The interior itself is fairly average--nothing particularly modern or upscale--but it doesn't detract from the experience. If anything, it keeps the focus where it belongs: on the food. Service was a bit of a mixed bag. There were only two servers handling the floor, and they were clearly stretched thin. Ordering is done digitally, which helps streamline things, but you can still feel the strain during peak times. That said, the food started arriving quickly--our tofu noodle dish came out almost immediately, while the beef dish lagged behind a bit. Presentation leans traditional in a charming way. The plates and chopsticks have that classic, no-frills aesthetic that complements the overall vibe of the restaurant. Now, let's talk about the food. First, a word of caution: spice levels here are no joke. If you're sensitive to heat, you'll want to dial it down. But if you can handle it, the flavors are absolutely worth it--rich, bold, and deeply satisfying. The tofu was exceptionally soft, almost silky, and clearly freshly prepared. The noodles matched that texture perfectly--tender, well-cooked, and comforting. Pricing is another strong point. For the quality and portion sizes, it's very reasonable, making it an easy spot to revisit without hesitation. Overall, Nine Noodles is a great pick if you're looking for authentic flavors, a culturally immersive atmosphere, and solid value. It's not about fancy decor or polished service--it's about good, honest food. I'd definitely come back.

This restaurant is mostly self service; there are two kiosks right in front for ordering and a table full of prefilled drink cups. I think the only upside to this restaurant is the free cups of mango tea, which are slightly sweetened and fruity. I wouldn't say they are very mango forward though. Hot Oil Biang Noodles ($13.99) - The biang biang noodles here aren't very good. They seem to be stretched somewhat, but then I feel like they take shortcuts. Instead of being almost completely stretched via bouncing the noodles on the table, they only stretch it probably half as much as normal, then they cut the dough lengthwise several times - this is why I can see multiple clear corner pieces in the noodle instead of it being relatively straight. They also don't care to make it consistent in thickness. This causes major issues because the thinner parts are soft and mushy while the thicker corners are doughy and slightly undercooked. I don't know how, but the noodles also clump together, so in some bites, I'm eating three strands of mushy noodles right on top of each other. The sauce here isn't much better. It's supposed to be aromatic, blistering hot oil mixed with chili/vinegar and aromatics poured directly on the noodles. The problems here are multifold. Firstly, they don't drain the noodles properly, resulting in an excessive amount of water diluting the sauce. Secondly, they use far too much vinegar, making the sauce overly acidic. The vinegar is by far the dominant flavor in the dish. While the dish seems like it will be spicy due to the red color oil, it's almost completely diluted out by the vinegar and noodle cooking water. The dish is basically not spicy at all due to these factors. (2/5) Spicy Cumin Lamb Biang Noodle Soup ($14.99) - This dish suffers from the same noodle issues as above, but the soup format improves some aspects slightly, but worsens other aspects. Since the soup is hot and the noodles are soaked in the broth, they soften more readily, so the soft portions are even more mushy than the "dry" noodle. The thicker portions are nice and bouncy though. The soup itself is relatively flavorful, slightly gamey, and tastes like it actually is a lamb bone broth, but it doesn't really have depth of flavor. Again, it's not really spicy at all. The lamb on top seems like thinly sliced hot pot lamb, pan fried until very dry. If not for the fact that the lamb is sliced thin, it would be extremely tough. It does have a nice fragrant cumin flavor though. (2/5) Those were the two worst bowls of noodles I've had in a long time. I wasn't particularly impressed with the noodles at the U District location of Xi'an Noodles either, but they were far better than these two steaming piles of excrement. Bathrooms - Two unisex room shared with Snowy Village. One was locked though
