We went to Limoncello on an early Saturday evening in December to celebrate my stepson's birthday. This was our first time here and what stands out is that the restaurant is decorated beautifully, especially now for Christmas. Surprisingly, we were seated in the outdoor area. It was fine since there were heaters, but inside looked like a nicer atmosphere. We all enjoyed our food and wine. We had appetizers of Maria's Meatballs and Arancini. I definitely preferred the Arancini which was fried risotto balls stuffed with mozzarella and peas. Our entrees ranged from my Veal Limoncello to my stepson's Filet Mignon. He loved his steak, I thought my veal was good. All in all, I'd say the food here was okay, but the seating and the service could have been better.

Delicious food and drinks. The place gets packed, so make sure you have a reservation. Cool outdoor seating that turns into outdoor dining in the wintertime with heaters and covers. The food is consistently very good. Prices are reasonable compared to other restaurants in the same league. Our servers very friendly and attentive, but not overbearing.

Three of us stopped in for a Sunday early dinner post theatre and Peoples. We knew that they did BYOB with no corkage fee on a Sunday but what we didn't know was that they even had a happy hour menu that runs 4 to 6 Sunday through Friday. The food and portions were outstanding even from the happy hour menu had our favorite pear & porchittie raviolis, some spinachraviolis, and the Grigiolla De peche. Great food - great value.

We rolled into Limoncello after being outdoors at a con, in the heat, fairly close to their closing time. (Like 2 hours out, we're not heathens!) We were overheated, tired, and probably a little underdressed, but the restaurant welcomed us and sat my party of 4 at a lovely table in one of their dining rooms. Limoncello is a beautiful place in the middle of a strip mall. It shouldn't be as nice as it is. But we pulled in based on their hours and nearness to pur hotel. We couldn't have been hapo8er with our experience. Then service was knowledgeable a d attentive. Our glasses a d bread basket were refilled. We enjoyed the bruschetta brought to our table. My husband had shrimp and crab fra diavolo. It was spicy enough and a perfect portion, with generous seafood. Our friend had the Pescatore and it was a very large portion with a lot of each of the various included seafood items. I had Chicken Limoncello, which was an amazing combination of Chicken Francese and Chesapeake and I absolutely loved it. I cleaned my plate. I forget what my son had. I highly recommend Limoncello. Its a beautiful space, with great service and great food.

Listen, I'm a foodie. I was brought up on not good food, but excellent food! This place was amazing. It was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. Let's start with the appetizer. I had the friend calamari. Usually when I like something, I'm not going to share. Given I was with my parents and siblings and grew up eating fish probably 3 nights a week until I was 12, I decided to share it. Literally the best I've had outside of San Francisco. For dinner I had the Pear & Cheese Saccheti. OMG!!!! Gorgeous pasta stuffed with absolute deliciousness! Total Bussin! Amanda was our waitress and she was AMAZING! My family is not always the easiest. I've been dreaming about those perfect pillows of deliciousness and writing this review, my mouth is watering. Everyone enjoyed their meals. My husband had his go to of Chicken Parm. I enjoyed it. The restaurant is really nice and the ambiance would be great for a snuggled dinner date! Wonderful celebration for my dad's 85th birthday!

I ordered their 16‑inch Meatball Pizza and it was absolutely outstanding. This place instantly became my new go‑to for pizza. The pie was loaded with meatballs, topped with rich Grande mozzarella, and hit that perfect balance of sauce and seasoning that's so hard to find. I highly recommend Limoncello's, and I'm already excited to dine in soon to explore more of their menu. UPDATE: I've ordered three more times since this review -- never disappointed. As you can see The consistency and quality are spot‑on every single time.

We recently celebrated a birthday at Limoncello and food was fantastic! Great specials, complimentary bread and bruschetta, and appetizers/meals were all great. Service was also great - our server Nick was very friendly and attentive! The only thing I'd say is it was very loud and difficult to hear each other at the table. Aside from the noise, it was a wonderful experience and highly recommend!

Wow, what an amazing experience. Their Chester Springs location has always been my favorite spot to eat with my family. They are always so accommodating and welcoming. I can enjoy my entire family here. On top of having such a wonderful time here, their food is amazing. We recommend their sachetti (sorry if I misspelled) but it is amazing! It's a perfect mixture of sweet and savory. A+

Braised Short Rib and NY Style Cheesecake

My tastebuds were dancing! I ordered the braised short rib and it was so tender it nearly fell apart with the touch of my fork. And the bed of gnocchi just added the best touch I finished with a cheesecake which was absolutely delicious!

This is our favorite Italian restaurant in/around Chester County. I have gotten their pasta before including a branzino over angel hair, alla vodka, and other seafood variations. We always get greeted with helpful staff and are welcomed with complimentary fresh bread and bruschetta (my favorite). The seafood here is done well and probably what I enjoy the most. We love the clams oreganato for our appetizer. For desserts, I love the mousse; it is a bit decadent and hefty after a full meal. Our waiter recently was very attentive and was able to answer questions about the specials, and offered us more bread/bruschetta without us asking which I thought was very generous. Ambiance is nice, nothing out of the ordinary or special. Includes a bar and private dining rooms, and an outdoor terrace. Overall: Great food and service. It's always busy here, so during busier times of years (holidays, graduations), aim to make a reservation.

What is the noise volume like there? I'd like to take my 87 year old grandfather but he's hard of hearing and sometimes a quite environment is more enjoyable for him.

We loved the decorations in the restaurant too, seeing all the local dog portraits on the wall while we were waiting for our table was enjoyable. The food was incredible. We recently moved to Exton and haven't really gotten a chance to spoil ourselves, and White Dog was a great place to do so. We started with the Mushroom Soup, Oysters, and Artisan Cheese Board. All were delicious! One of the things I loved most were the portion sizes. For the price it was only a touch expensive, but for good reason, the entrees were delicious. My girlfriend got the Salmon, I had the Seafood Bucatini, and textures were masterful. The contrast between the tenderness of the shrimp/scallops and the broccoli rabe/parmesean crisps made each bite a truly special experience. I'm going to be dreaming of how light yet flavorful the sauce was too!! The GF is telling me to stop typing but I could go on and on about this meal. Thank you!!! We will be back

At this age and point in history, it takes a bit to phase me, and I will say - I was phased. Without meaning to, I looked her up and down and gave her a stare that must've conveyed, "WTH?" I said my name and that I had a reservation for 3. I was with my mother-in-law who quite clearly has physical disabilities and the hostess asked, "Do you want to wait for the other person in your party?" Um, no, I want to get my elderly and infirm MIL seated. "No, he's parking and will be right in." "Follow me." And she proceeded to take us quite literally to the seating section that was the absolute furthest away from the front door, as my MIL hobbled along behind her. And the place was dead, so there was no need for that lack of sensitivity. Situational awareness, peeps. When we were seated, each of us was given a different menu. One read "Lunch" one read "Brunch" and one read "Dinner'. We flagged someone down and she said, "Oh, I don't know which menu it should be, let me find out." "You've been open for 4 hours and you don't know what menu you're using?" I wondered quietly to myself. Then the waiter arrived, perfectly affable, also in pajamas, and when he left, my MIL asked, "What is going on? What is everyone wearing?" I said, "Pajamas." NOT the nice meal we had in mind for her. The waiter explained it was a tradition because one day, on New Year's Day, the woman who started the restaurant in the 80s had been so drunk she was incapable of adulting and putting on proper clothes to come to work dressed professionally - so to honor her poor life skills and bad choices - all the staff is now forced to wear pajamas on New Year's Day. How nice for the rest of us. I could see that on a day like April Fools or Halloween or "Bring a Drunk Restaurant Owner to Work Day", but not New Year's Day. But hey - whatevs. The least you could do is push this fact out to people so if someone is looking to have a nice meal in a traditional atmosphere to start the new year - they could consent and/or make another choice. Which clearly, we would have. So odd.

When I first drove up, I didn't not immediately recognize it as the former Ship Inn because the traffic pattern at the intersection was different and the building looked more updated. He vouched for her Old Fashioned which just happened to be what I had planned to order. The Old Fashioned was good. She made it with Evan Williams Bourbon. It had a good blend so that it was not too sweet, too bitter or overpowered by the bourbon. My friend ordered Garlic Parmesan wings which he seemed to enjoy. Everybody loves (and should love) an outdoor beergarden with occasional live music, good sports, and a wide selection of drinks and menu items for all...BUT this is one of those microcosm places for the downfall of restaurant dining in the modern age: 1) The beer selection is ungodly expensive. $8 for a can of beer? Woof. Bonus points, however, given for Eagles games prices and the addition of some Stables-specific beers (pale ale and another). 2) You really have to review your check. Recently had an experience where my son ordered a burger from the kids menu, then asks him, "For you side, do you want chips or fries?" He answers fries. A few moments later, there's a plate with the burger and chips along with a side plate of fries. I highlight that he asked for fries and they still brought chips and if that's an issue. Server shares that the kitchen likes to still give out chips even if the side is changed since the chips are specially made (and tasty!). The sad part: the server never says that selecting fries is an upcharge. There's nothing on the menu that says fries are an upcharge. But when my son answers the question "would you like chips or fries?" it is assumed that means it's a selection at the same price. It's not. One more thing: they charged more money for a local beer than what was listed. When brought to their attention, the initial server was very understanding and the manager rectified it on the check.
