I was ankle deep and it was still at that level when I checked out. I was only there for one night and it was check out time or I would have called someone. I very much hated that and seeing other guests' hair floating in the deep water in the shower. It encouraged me to move faster though.

The cons however... all the rooms are located on the third floor and there is no elevator (that I could find). Could be a challenge if you have an extended stay and are traveling with a lot of luggage. There is no parking and street parking is not permitted over night so you have to walk about a block to the closest garage (only cost ten bucks for the night). I can not comment on the employees cause I never meant one. Everything was handled on line. This is a nice spot in the heart of downtown, I would give it that fifth star if it wasn't for the parking situation but that's just my personal preference.

TV's on every wall and the NCAA wrestling tournament was on with an excited crowd to watch. They have a big menu. My one recommendation would be to condense that down to a few staple items. We ordered a 1/2 dozen wings with the "3rd degree" sauce to start. Our waitress brought out the "Pigs fly" sauce in a cup to try as well. Overall, the wings were meaty and fresh. The sauces were good but I'd probably step it up to "dragon fire" if you like it spicy. I heard the cheesesteaks with wiz were amazing and as close to a philly as you could hope for in central PA. I ordered a "Chef pat's way" with no ketchup and boy was it excellent! Freshly sliced ribeye, whiz, fried onions and hot cherry peppers. Just typing this is making me want to return. I forgot to mention that philly style roll. Nicely done...I'm a fan! My wife, being italian, ordered the pasta dinner that comes with two large meatballs smothered in 'gravy'. The only thing negative I have to say is that the quick service drinks in the restaurant are a tad bit overpriced, but it's a hotel so you can always expect a little bit more money. There's plenty of places around if you want to go to the store. Oh, and the bed is comfortable so far we'll see how I feel at the end of the week. And the coolest thing the room keys are old student ID from Penn State.

Having stayed at many Hiltons, this was incredibly disappointing. Outside of front desk team…read moremembers being friendly, the overall experience has been well below general expectations for a Hilton - and even basic expectations of any hotel! Some serious concerns about this hotel: 1- First night the air conditioning would not work. It was uncomfortably hot in the room. Called the front desk and the person said no one was around to help - so "just open a window." We did, and had an evening with an open window with no screen. Luckily no daredevil squirrels climbed in and no birds - or bats - chose to invade our space! 2- After three days - there had been no room service. No fresh towels - no emptying of trash - and no replacement of toilet paper. This was after I was leaving the room one day and "room service" was at the door and, in a somewhat rude manner, asked: "Do you want room service?" I said - "oh yes - thank you - I was just leaving." She appeared to go into the room - but I have no idea what she did as, again, no towels were changed out, trash was still in the trash cans, and beds were not made. 3- We ran out of toilet paper, so we asked for some - and then went out. I have included a picture of what we found upon our return - toilet paper left outside of the room - not even brought into the room and put on the roller. 4- An unexplained charge appeared on my card from the hotel - at 11:11 PM when the whole family was in bed. I inquired on this, and as of this time, no one at the hotel can figure out what was charged - still waiting on that to hopefully be explained and, if in error, resolved. 5- The treadmill in the gym has been broken and out of order - as such, I had to go to Planet Fitness. Yet, we have been charged a $10/day "resort fee." This is NOT a resort - and am entirely unclear what this $10 a day charge is going toward. 6- While hot water worked in the morning - by 9:00 PM we did not have any hot water. I called and the person at the front desk said "oh, just keep the water running - it has to come from the other side of the building so it takes awhile to heat up." Uhm, we left it running for about 10 minutes - just cold water. I am unsure how this hotel was allowed to have the Hilton name. Needless to say, we will not be staying here again.
