This place is a joke went in to get a beer me and my girlfriend we weren't greeted at. The bartender who was supposed to be on shift was just sitting with the regulars and finally after 2 minutes say we did last call we showed up at 9:32. Mind you they close at 10 pm no where is there a sign that says there a last call 30min before they close? And doesn't say anything online about a last call we made the drive all the way over there from la Verne for this bs what a joke of a place. You guys should really take pride in your establishment vs hiring a bunch of tattoo workers who can't even do there job right! She talked about it being slow tonight but refused services to us so you guy's missed out on even more money because she chooses to sit at the bar with the regulars pretty sad. You guys really need todo a better job on when you guys close and have some signs up or something. I've been here a few times and I've always sat at the bar and received good service & great food. I had a burger here that changed my life. Love the inside, very Irish & fun. I'd like to start off by saying if I could give this business 0 stars I would. If we were not all hungry, there for a birthday, and with drinks ordered we would have left. The music from the jukebox is SO UNBELIEVABLY LOUD. It's sickening how loud it is within 5 minutes my ears were throbbing, I had a migraine, and I felt PHYSICALLY ILL from how loud it was. Not to mention the choice of music. I understand it was a jukebox but an Irish themed pub where you have forced to listen to ear shattering country music is not what you'd expect. I cannot comment on the food as I was unable to eat anything with the major migraine I had and noise induced nausea. In the several minutes I was looking before I had to just shut my eyes in pain I saw several groups of people open the door, hear the music volume, and turn around and leave. In town for a few days this was the closest place that was open that said it had lemon pepper wings, so we thought why not let's try it out. Reason for the three stars is because of the beer, I had 2 dark beers one brown ale and a porter and they taste like black licorice that's because the beer just been sitting in the keg for too long and to old, and I also had a west coast IPA that taste very Diacetyl and pretty much taste like a butter bomb, well anyways service was nice and the workers were nice but for being a sports bar the beer was not good read more

Limericks gets five stars for its amazing food and chill atmosphere. We moved recently and I literally will drive back to Upland to get the fish/shrimp tacos. They have a decent amount of beers on tap and the drinks are good. I'm already thinking about the next time I can make it out there. Personal favorite foods: shrimp tacos, pizza, garlic fries. My one and only experience here was with a buddy of mine while waiting for a few more friends to come out and make the trip to Upland for some good ol' fashioned, cruise the city and just go skateboard type of day. Prior to entering the establishment, we questioned it's validity because of it's location. Don't let the parking lot fool you, once you're inside Limerick's Tavern, you feel like you're literally in a tavern in it's own stand alone building. The decor is somewhat rustic and old school, perhaps like that of a tavern in.. Ireland? I did my normal "What's going on here?!" question when the bartender approached us for our drink order. She went through the menu, specifically the brews, and a the partial history of the establishment. The brew selection is phenomenal.. the only discrepancy with this is when a menu is HUGE I have trouble choosing an individual item. I ordered a Red Amber Ale which I don't recall the name of, some Irish Nachos and my buddy ordered an IPA. I guess some people overheard our 'convo' with the bartender, and approached my friend and I. They asked if we were part of the "Beer club meet up". I looked at my friend and back at the patron.. "Yes..?" They proceeded to sit down and buy us drinks. Next thing I knew, the four top table was surround by about 12 folks, not including my buddy and myself. I didn't pay for a thing while I was there, nor did my friend. It became a Cheers like experience even though I didn't know a single person inside the tavern. Overall, the vibe was great. The bartenders are VERY attentive and on point. The Irish Nacho appetizer was just what the beer doctor ordered. Cheesy, sour creamy, with chives and bacon, baby. It complimented my beer(s) and had us ordering more. A few brews down and our friends arrived; It was clear we weren't going to skate because the alcohol consumption was piling up. At 95% Irish my family is very picky about how St.Patrick's day goes. I got a load of high fives for bringing them here. The Irish coffee was strong and juuuuust right. There were other specials I was dying to try! The corned beef platter was huge. We devoured the whole thing, practically licking the plate clean. As I was checking my credit card statement, I noticed a discrepancy between the amount I was actually charged and the amount that I authorized to be charged. In other words, I was charged on my card because someone at the restaurant decided to add more to the tip amount than what I permitted to do so. I know this because I've kept my receipt. I guess the server didn't expect that I would keep a receipt for three months before my credit card statement came in for me to audit my finances. I have complained about the situation to the manager, Derrick, and he immediately investigated the situation and resolved the situation to my favor. I appreciate Derrick's customer service and find him easy to work with. It was explained that the servers are the ones adding the tip to the final charge. I was told the server has been given a warning. Hopefully other customers will be safe from unethical servers and that managers will have a closer watch on their employees. Now in regard to the food and the establishment. The establishment is your basic bar/tavern feel with lots of wood used around the establishment. If you're here to watch a game, every seat in the house is a good seat because of they have enough strategically placed tv screens to satisfy everyone. As expected, the menu is your typical bar food. My party ordered beer, burger, and fries. They were good, but nothing exceptional or mind blowing. The burgers were juicy. They were plated gourmet style (e.g. fancy plates etc.). The beer selection is decent if you're looking to stray from the typical Coors, Bud, Millers. You should be able to find something you like in their beer selection from microbeweries. In sum, I hope server 0002 (as stated on my receipt) didn't cheat other patrons of their hard earned money. However, hopefully from now on, management is aware of the situation and I hope they prevent this from ever happening again. Unfortunately, this one time experienced basically ruined it for me and I have no incentive to go back again, especially when I'm not local and have other alternatives. read more

I love this place. I live in West Covina and I drive there at least once a week. I'm a regular. They know me. I know them. You walk in and you sit wherever you want. The staff is very attentive. It's not a rowdy place, it's quaint and relaxing. I go here all the time with a book or two and spend several hours just reading and drinking beer. The beer selection is great. They have the standard beers that you would expect as well as a good selection of craft beers. They range from Arrogant Bastard, to Palo Santo Marron, to Vixen, and so on. I'm a beer snob and I've enjoyed what they have offered. The staff knows their beer too. Krissy is usual waitress when I go on Mondays and she knows her beers. She describes them well and sometimes I just let her surprise me with a beer that she thinks I would like. She hasn't failed me yet. My other usual waitress is Krystal and she's just as great. They recognize their regulars and it makes it worth going all the time. And happy hour does indeed makes me happy. Buy a beer get your next one for a dollar. I'm in! The food also doesn't disappoint. I almost always get the Irish Nachos. It's far from your standard nachos but definitely a winner among the rest. The steak was good, the burgers have yet to let me down. The desserts are top notch. Liquor drinkers rejoice! They recently added liquor to the menu and it makes me happy too. As a whiskey drinker I'm not disappointed. Bring me the Maker's Mark! Come here eat up and drink up. Brand new spot and Upland is lucky to have it. The decor is phenomenal! Makes you feel like you're in an Irish pub but at the same time suitable for families. They have HDTV's ALL OVER the place. And they WILL have SUNDAY TICKET, so NFL fan's come down and chug a beer and watch the games. Food is great. For the high quality ingredients that they use, the prices are pretty generous. My favorites were the Margherita pizza, the Rib Eye, and the Kobe Beef sliders. Huge selection of beers on tap and prices are good too. Service is on point. Our server came around several times to make sure we were okay. The managers would greet each table to make sure their dining experience was great. Take advantage of this joint. The wings were great ! but i'm giving them 1 star because it took the waitress like 10 minutes just to bring me a beer and still had to wait another 10 more minutes to get another beer, this was in the afternoon with only a couple tables so I don't understand why it would even take them that long . I've frequented this place a few times and it's pretty awesome. The staff is very friendly and attentive. It's got a cool feel to it, not too froo-froo but not too divey either. The beer selection is pretty impressive. Happy hour deals are good. Appetizers and beers are cheap and the apps can be very tasty. In particular, the Irish Nachos are delicious - potato chips with corned beef and other unhealthy toppings. If there's anything I'd like to see better, it'd be their regular food. My wife and I decided to check this spot out based on it's Irish Nachos and huge selection of beers. I highly recommend trying the beer flights, it is a great way to sample many flavors. We went alone, however I did notice people bring in their kids, small families and single parents will love this place. It is clean, spacious and the prices are very inexpensive. Their many big screen TVs had a range from baseball, preseason football and one had womens gymnastics, very impressive. I have to give a big shout out and thanks again to their security guard who was kind enough to give us a jump after 9pm on a Friday. It helped us out tremendously. read more

I liked this place a lot! Whenever I try to find good food spots in the IE through Yelp, I always find myself at a really janky place and I'm constantly reminded by my BF that "yelp is not a thing" in the IE. I thought that's what happened again when we drove into the strip mall and saw this place next to the Stater Bros. When we walked in though, I was pleasantly surprised! It's a nicely lit Irish pub, super clean and a lot of TVs to make this place seem cozy. No one greeted us, so we awkwardly sat ourselves. However, once we were seated our server greeted us with a friendly hello and offered us menus and took our drink orders. I got the Bleu Cheeseburger with garlic fries (offered on the summer menu), and my BF got a build your own burger with seasoned fries. I also ordered the Duchesse sour ale and was pleasantly surprised when it came in a pint glass, since sours are often given in a smaller goblet type glass. The burgers were great and the fries were good. The seasoning on the fries wasn't as great as I would've liked - i.e. I expected the garlic fries to have diced garlic but it was simply just garlic powder and parsley. The service was on point and our server was constantly checking on us and giving my BF refills on his soda without him even having to ask. I really liked this place a lot and if I'm ever back within 15 mins of this place, I would definitely come back. It's hard to find a good burger/food spot in this area without having to go to Fuddruckers or Slaters 50/50, so I'm glad that this is an option. read more

Great little bar with great service. It's hidden in a shopping center. They have lots of televisions, lots of different specialty beers, bottles and tap. My best friend and I love to come here. The 50/50 burger is UHHHHmazing! Love the Pomona Queen on tap, and friendly bartender. The sweet potato and regular seasoned fries were super yummy, even cold out of the to go box later :) Great place to watch a game, a lot of TV's Not sure if there is wine, but i know no hard alcohol, but if you can get over that, I would definitely come try! Great little pub that does not have the "Locals only, get out of my bar" attitude. I liked this place. It certainly has an Irish/English pub feel to it with the beer mirrors, tables in booths and lots of wood on the walls. You don't get the "out of my bar" feel from the locals when you go in, like you can get when you try out a new bar for the first time. There were four of us that went here for dinner and beer. Having a lot of beers on tap is no joke here. There are plenty to choose from and plenty more. I don't want to say there are too many but you can find yourself staring at the menu trying to figure out which beer you want. The ones we had did not disappoint though. We had some questions for the waitress on the beers and she could only offer advice on what she has personally tasted and the color of the beers, which is not always the answer you are looking for. Anyway, we just went with a couple of beers based on the type (Ale, Belgian, Stout etc) and liked what we got, so cannot say a bad word about it. Food was good although more of an English variety not really Irish except the Nachos which had corned beef on them. These were very tasty. A couple of small negatives to say about this pub... Most if not all Irish or English pubs will have at least a dart board. Out of all the TVs (there are a lot), not 1 channel had a soccer or rugby game on (FSC would be nice). With the addition of these it would probably have the 5 stars from me. All in all a good place, very clean (although new), attentive service, good food and good beer. read more

Im writing this as i am sitting here. I was skeptical about this place. And I was one quarter right. The other patrons aren't annoying, the beer selection is good and the staff is cool. Couple things. First, it smells like a toilet in here. Not sure if they're having a problem, but it's brutal. The food, I am going to say is alright. The Irish nachos were awesome, but the zucchini fries just tasted like fried fried mooshee fried. And the music sucks.
