Had an AMAZING time recently at Lime. Not gonna lie, it always hits especially with their new summer limited time drops! We ate in this time around and the service was phenomenal. We were checked on several times and our food was brought out promptly after ordering. We had some nice cold Pacificos and tried their new 'Merica slushee (it's not really called that). I love the fact that they have a hot sauce station AND a sauce bar. I love me all the sauces. DON'T SLEEP ON THEIR FLAT BREADS! And it's not traditional Birria tacos, but their version/consommé was DELICIOUS! Guac is always fire and don't sleep on their salads. They give a generous portion of protein on it as well!

Lime is an outstanding spot for a great Mexican meal. They have a bevy of choices, bouncing from tacos and burritos, to salads and nachos. Of course there is also everything in between! The ingredients are fresh and full of flavor. If you don't already have enough, their salsa bar is full of great mild and fiery choices. I like the pineapple-habanero myself. The atmosphere is very generic. Tables with stools, and decor that would be at home in any self respecting Chipotle. The food...great! Value? Outstanding! Atmosphere? Whatever. Service? Well, here's the rub. Their staff has about as much personality as a squad of mannequins. No smiles, no friendly banter, and the questions they ask at the register? I had to ask them to repeat three times. Deal breaker? No. The food is worth the visit. If atmosphere and charm are important...move along.

Six stars for Lime. I Love the crunchy tacos. Soft floppy tortillas? Not my style. Grew up in the 70's man! Ortega, know what i mean? So craving a taco or four, Lime it is. One of the only places in Miami that has the crunch. Really wasn't paying attention, but today was Veteran's Day. They had a Veteran's Day deal where i got free lunch - three tacos and a drink. FREE. For Veterans. Lime rocks so hard for that. That is so friggen cool. But know what's cooler ? I also got a Lime "challenge coin" and on EVERY 11th of EVERY month i can show the coin and get three tacos and a drink. That blew me away. No place treats veterans that way- 10% here, a free donut, coffe over there, but not like Lime. Man, I Salute you Mr. Lime. I don't go looking for any of that stuff on Veterans Day, so that was a cool surprise. See you on the 11th !!!! But honestly, they will see me before. They have my loyalty.

Food was not represented as shown on their website. The food was just ok. We ordered chicken tacos and empanada with chips and salsa. The empanada was ready and didn't have alt of flavor. The chicken taco was ok but the rice was dried out.

As always Lime never disappoints! You wanna eat good and not expensive, Lime is the go to. Not your typical Mexican cuisine but a lot better that others well known "Mexican" fast food joints. Fresh salsas, fresh chips, fresh queso dip! My go to here is the Lime Burrito, flautas and of course a variety of tacos, chicken, fish and or beef. Pair with some adult beverages (beer and wine) to complement the flavors! Maybe I should have a salad next time, nah!

This lime fresh is located in downtown Dadeland with convenient garage parking that is free after they validate it. It has plenty of seating both inside and outside. The staff is always so welcoming and very nice. Patient to help me build my veggie burrito from all of the available toppings. They really stuff the burrito and press it to perfection I love the bit of crunch down the middle of the entire burrito when I take a bite. The chips were nice a warm and crunchy. The pineapple salsa is my favorite. I'm plant-based and they make it easy for me to enjoy a meal that's not only quick but delicious, satisfying, and will fill me up.

My wife went out for lunch with her sister and decided to go to Lime which is one of the main competitors of Chipotle's. She decided to order a steak bowl for us to share since she had to leave. The bowl included tiny bits of steak, beans, salsa, onions, and the base was rice. For me the taste was very bland and there were moments I couldn't tell if I was eating tiny steak bites or black bean. I would highly recommend Chipotle which I feel has better quality ingredients.

The food and service has definitely improved at this location. My coworkers and I came here for pre cinco de mayo lunch since we work from home Fridays. I ordered the fish tacos fried and got a 1 free item courtesy of Yelp with my check in. I got the queso sauce and that was great was to eat with chips. The tacos we crisp on the outside perfectly moist inside. I enjoyed my lunch and will come back again some time.

We came to eat at lime because my kids school once a month has something called DFEats which part of the proceeds go to their school. Being someone who lived in Mexico for a year in Guadalajara I can assure you this is not authentic Mexican food nor Tacos. They are more of the American version, so you won't find Tacos Al Pastor, or carnitas etc etc. Now after getting that out of the way this is what I would call fast food "Mexican Food" a bit higher end than Taco Bell. I thought the food was good keeping in mind it's not true Mexican cuisine. We started off with the flautas which were chicken based and came with a tasty sauce. They were crunchy and not very oily. I ordered a shrimp taco, a beef Gringo taco, and two regular ground beef taco. They were all good. My wife got a shrimp, pork and fish taco. She said she liked the shrimp taco, but thought the pork and fish tacos were OK. My son got a pork taco which he ate it all as well as one of the flautas. My daughter ate two regular ground beef tacos which she enjoyed as well. One little tip, if you check in on Yelp, you get a choice of a free item. I chose the cinnamon chips which came with whip cream. I love cinnamon so you can imagine I really enjoyed it. Another nice touch is they have a free salsa bar because all the tacos come with chips. Oh, and all the tacos came mixed. They didn't separate my tacos from my wives and kids. When they place the order on their computer it doesn't separate by person so get ready to do it your self when they arrive.....not a big deal. To drink my wife and I got strawberry margaritas which were strong. They don't skimp out on the tequila which is nice. They also have beer and soda fountain as well as Mexican sodas (Jarrita). The service was very good. The woman who took our order was very sweet and there were two other women working that kept checking on us to see if we needed anything which I found was great, not being a restaurant you really don't expect that. The place looks clean and simply decorated with messages written on the wall. Overall I was happy with the meal. It's a good place to go for lunch or if one day you are lazy and don't want to cook dinner and want something quick, this will satisfy you. Enjoy!!!

My salad was already mixed up here in the dressing for this picture. I don't know what it is about this beef taco salad that i'm always craving it! It's so yummy. I come here for my lunch break sometimes just to satisfy my taco salad cravings. :)

Parking was a bit challenging due to the limited number of spaces, but once we walked inside, the experience more than made up for it. We were warmly greeted by Carolina, who also became our server. She was incredibly patient and took her time walking us through the menu, explaining each dish and how everything is prepared. Her dedication to customer satisfaction truly stood out, and we hope management recognizes what an asset she is. Carolina proudly shared that every item on the menu is made in‑house, and it absolutely shows. My wife ordered the Quesadilla de Pollo with a side of Arroz Mexicano and couldn't stop talking about the exceptional flavors. I chose the Tostada al Pastor, a small Tortilla Soup, and a side salad. Everything was delicious, but the Tortilla Soup was the star of the meal--a perfect example of why in‑house preparation matters. Since we're not from the area, we weren't sure where to go for lunch, and we truly lucked out choosing Don Maguey--and having Carolina as our server. Thank you, Carolina. When I looked 20 minutes after at my credit card statement read I had been charged $77 and change pending a potential tip on top of that, even with tip included it is still over approximately $7 what I signed off for. We called to determine the prices of each individual meal and "the manager" was stumbling to tell us the prices for everything. Even with the fake numbers that were given to us it still didn't add up correctly. I remember the prices for the 3 meals my family and I ordered and I remember what the check said. I let it be because maybe they need more than I do. As for the food, I'm born and raised on the border of Mexico and although I must say it does scream authenticity especially on appearance the meat is bland, and that "Mexican rice" is by far the worst tasting rice I've had. For a casual person that likes Mexican food you may like it, but if you know what you're tasting you will not. Also, they didn't have 4 different things on the menu available ultimately leading me to have to go with my 5th option. It is very expensive for what it is, and even more expensive when your waitress manipulates the system.

Both are always very friendly and attentive. This time we decided to sit in the dining room because we were a group of three and had a lot to talk about. The place has 4 TVs and we were able to enjoy the France vs Spain match. We all ordered La Tropical Draft beer, a light, smooth, and very refreshing blonde. In total we had 16 beers . We shared nachos with grilled steak, which were very good (they pour the melted cheese right at the table). We also ordered tripa tacos well toasted (that's the technique) as we requested, and they came out excellent. Note: They have different promotions or offers depending on the day, not a regular happy hour variety, so it's good to be aware of that. The restaurant offers a good variety of 8 salsas: Sirloin, Chips, Guacamole, Verde, Vicente, Pastor, Chilanga, and Asada. Good atmosphere, pleasant service, and tasty food. We'll definitely keep coming back.

Water is self-serve, and once you're done with your meal, you just head out. There's minimal interaction with staff, which might appeal to people who prefer a more low-key, independent dining experience or want a place to sit and work without being interrupted. That said, the service did not feel very friendly or welcoming. And personally, I left feeling a bit underwhelmed.

Before going, we called the restaurant to ask if they would be showing the World Cup games, and we were told they would be showing all of them. Based on that, we expected a good viewing experience. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case. There aren't enough TVs, many of the views are obstructed, and we actually had to move to the bar just to see part of the game. Even then, the music was so loud that we couldn't hear the match at all. When we asked the manager about it, he told us that ownership's instructions were to play music instead of the game's audio. That was especially surprising considering this is a Mexican-owned restaurant and the match was a Mexico World Cup game. The biggest disappointment, however, was the service. To be fair, the restaurant was only about half full, so this wasn't a situation where the staff was overwhelmed by a packed house or unusually heavy demand. I was there with two female friends. I ordered a martini while my friends simply asked for water. The bartender reacted as if asking for water was somehow an inconvenience. We weren't even served chips and salsa until we repeatedly waved down members of the staff and specifically requested them. The bartenders consistently ignored us. My friends waited nearly 20 minutes before anyone came back so they could order their martinis. We later ordered guacamole and the Leña skirt steak. The guacamole arrived promptly, but the steak never did. When we asked another bartender to check on it, he looked in the system and told us there was no food order entered at all. This was unbelievable because the original bartender had described the dish, asked how we wanted the steak cooked, and appeared to take the order. He simply never entered it. When we complained to the manager about the missing food, he told us the kitchen was already closed but that he would "make an exception" and have the steak prepared for us. That response really upset me because this wasn't us asking for special treatment--it was the restaurant trying to correct its own mistake. I told him to simply cancel the order. He then said not to worry because he wouldn't charge us for it, as if not charging for a meal would somehow make up for the experience we had just endured. I declined the offer, but he responded by saying he would bring it anyway and that if we didn't want it, we could just leave it there. To me, that response was even more dismissive and completely missed the point. Throughout the evening, the bartenders were inattentive, dismissive, and consistently rude. Their attitude completely overshadowed what had always been one of my favorite restaurants in Coconut Grove. By halftime, we had simply had enough. Instead of continuing what should have been a fun night, we decided to leave the restaurant and go home, where we watched the rest of the Mexico match in the comfort of my home. Sadly, that turned out to be the best part of the night. I'm writing this review because I know Koko is capable of much better. My previous visits have always been enjoyable, which made this experience even more disappointing. However, if you're planning to watch a World Cup match there, I would strongly recommend choosing another venue. While they may tell you they'll be showing the game, the viewing experience is poor, the game audio is replaced with loud music, and based on our visit, the service was, without question, the worst I've experienced there since the restaurant opened. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously because Koko has always been one of my favorite restaurants, and I'd like to be able to recommend it again. Unfortunately, after this experience, I simply can't.

I am gluten free so the fact that they make their own corn corn tortillas is amazing and about 90% of the menu is gluten free. I do have a nut allergy so there were a few items I couldn't have but still lots of options. The server recommend doing family style so we got a few things to share. We really enjoyed the short rib tacos and Verde chicken enchiladas. They were both outstanding. But the best part of the meal was the watermelon margaritas, holy moly so good! I highly recommend this place and its a cute little area to walk around and explore after.

The server was phenomenal, and the food tasted great, though portions run a little small for the price. One thing that caught me off guard: most of the table ordered tacos and enchiladas, but when the plates arrived, the "tacos" were essentially flautas and the "enchiladas" were more like tacos (the photo shown is the enchiladas). Naming aside, both dishes were delicious. We were also celebrating a birthday, and the staff sang for her and brought out a complimentary dessert--hands down the best brownie dessert I've ever had. The drinks were good, the food came out hot, and the ambiance was wonderful, with friendly, kind staff throughout. What did we order? Chorizo Queso: Not your traditional dipping queso, but FULL of flavor and the chorizo was great, decent portion. The table loved this. Comes with some warm fresh purple corn tortillas! 9/10 Guacamole: Nothing extraordinary, standard guac, I wish there was more guac and chips! The tortillas these come with are the same as the queso but fried and uncut. A little different but it was a nice change! 7/10 Chicken and Chorizo Enchiladas: Not your standard enchilada that you may be used to! Full of flavor though and everything was cooked very well! 8/10! Drinks: 10/10 Fair warning: expect a bit of sticker shock when the bill arrives.

The music selection is fire though and I was jamming out the whole time while waiting for my food. I complimented them on the music selection and they mentioned the owner is dominican and puerto rican which explained the great music selection. I was helped out by Adrian and his service was helpful in finding what dishes to order. I took my food to go and it was piping hot, definitely made fresh to order which I enjoyed. The nachos were what I was most eager to try as they are all the rage on social media. They lived up to the hype and that nacho cheese is absolute gold. I love that it's served in a pizza box. It just makes it iconic. It travels well and everything was still hot when I got home. The Al Pastor taco was just okay, nothing to write home about but now the steak burrito was really really good. I love that they don't have rice in their burritos and instead replace it with potatoes, which is absolutely delicious. They give two different types of salsas with your order plus limes and the green salsa is unreal. Add it to everything for a flavor boost! All in all this place is fire and if you're craving nachos, this is definitely the place you should come to get your fix!

Ever since I tried their steak Caesar salad I've been obsessed. That was my usual from there for 5 years. 2 nights ago we ordered from uptown and when we got our order I was so angry I didn't want to even eat my food. 1. Steak literally looked like wet dog food 2. They no longer do the frisée salad instead It's just plain old Romaine lettuce 3. For some reason they stopped giving their salsa now which was the highlight of my order 4. The container is so small and the egg was so hot that it melted all the Parmesan cheese and it was just a nasty glob 5. The eggs were so over boiled that they had that grey tint on the yolk and smelled horrible 6. 2 salads cost almost $50 so jokes on us Never again!!! I've literally banned uptown from our house. The audacity to charge so much for a mid salad topped with nasty dog food looking "steak"
