Very disappointed that I was not notified by this pharmacy that they DO NOT FILL regular prescriptions, only compound RX's. My refill was sent to them two weeks ago, and I was never notified by Lima's that they could not fill my prescription. When I called, that's when I found out my prescription would not be filled, and I would have to find another pharmacy. I am out of my meds and now have to scramble to hopefully get my prescription filled by today. This is important information to give to a patient, and I was not informed until my prescription is completely out. read more

I've only ever had wonderful service when visiting or calling this pharmacy. Based on previous reviewers I really didn't know what to expect; however, I was pleasantly surprised to feel welcomed, attended to in a timely fashion, and quickly checked out. My husband generally picks up the prescriptions but has reported equally stellar experiences. All those we've met thus far have been very sweet and helpful. I hope that others will give them a try as well; no establishment/person is perfect (hopefully the negative experiences were one-offs) but they are doing their best, as far as my experience has been. read more

I only have a 2* review because of one employee at Lima's because of her unprofessionalism and over promising and under delivering on her consultations, I will not be returning or recommending. I have only spoken with one other woman (at the register) and she was pleasant and helpful. read more

Adam is the only reason we stick with Limas pharmacy. He is the nicest person. Adam has Outstanding customer service skills. Everyone else there I have not had a good experience such as, Nancy. She was rude, put me on hold twice, and spoke down toward me. I needed my mothers insulin and she said they didn't have it and it would need to be ordered and available in a few days. When I spoke to Adam he found her insulin in the fridge and had it delivered within a few hours to our mom. He is amazing and a God send. Adam deserves an award and a promotion. read more

The woman I spoke to was absolutely appalling. She was very rude and short and didn't even answer my questions. At the very end I heard her removed the phone from her ear and talk crap about me! She was telling her coworkers that I shouldn't be a caregiver... okay I'm not a doctor these people are supposed to answer our questions which she couldn't even do. read more

Nina is a very rude person.She constantly talks over me and and mother.If you have questions about your medication she will be little you and try to make you feel stupid.Things are constantly getting filled without asking for them to.When I say we don't need them I get told well you don't have to pick them up they will be here for next time.Not the way I thought we would be treated when we transferred months ago.I give one star because there are some pretty awesome people who work there. read more

Really grateful for them. When talking to them it felt like I was talking to a person and not a company and they were so willing to help me and fix a problem that CVS started. They even deliver to Arcata which is awesome. Wish I would have switched to a locally run pharmacy years ago. read more

I understand that Lima's has been swamped with an uptick of daily prescription refills since Cloney's closed in March, but 4 months later I would hope some adjustments such as hiring of additional staff would be made. I need to have my scripts delivered because I no longer drive. Whenever I call, the staff is rude and short with me. My prescriptions are on automatic refill, but it took 4 days to get them to me, and it would have been 5 if Marvin had not taken some initiative and brought them to me when they became available. I was without one of my meds for 4 days and told that to the first person I talked to when I called. I was told they would be delivered on 3 different days by 3 different people. The thing is, I don't think I should have to call. If I didn't need them because they are the only pharmacy that delivers, I would definitely take my business elsewhere. Ugh! I'm giving them two stars because Marvin is an overworked gem. read more

I'm turning 20 this year and I've been going to this pharmacy since I was born across the street. As a child I don't remember any deal breaking issues, but as an adult with chronic illness their new staff has been nothing but rude and dismissive. I went in to pick up my regular inhaler I've had on autofill for over a year and the clerk said they don't have it and it says my insurance doesn't cover it. I told them that's not true and the clerk remained firm and said they would fax my allergist. I contacted my allergist and they said they would begin the re approval process and despite this, Limas claims they've heard nothing from the doctor and that they've been faxing them when I know this clinic to be reliable. When I finally talked to the medical assistant at my clinic about picking up a sample since Limas has had me cut off for over a week now with worsening condition, they said they've still heard nothing and every staff member at Limas I've spoken too has claimed I'm not taking it regularly or that I'm doing something wrong on my end. Completely unacceptable behavior towards a sick person, certainly not a reliable pharmacy. I now have a damn good reason to choose a different pharmacy. read more

I loved this pharmacy and it was the only one is use until I had a problem with a new prescription. They put the wrong doctors name on the bottle and when I call to ask if this was my new prescription or a refill from my last the person I got on the phone was rude acted as if this was my fault and hung up on me. When I called my doctor to explain what happened he called and they told him none of this was true and I was a liar. I have been a long time client and customer at Cloney's Pharmacy on Harrison Ave in Eureka. I was always treated with courtesy and respect there. I am truly sorry to see Cloney's go out of business. Anyway, I requested that they transfer my insurance billing and prescriptions information to Lima's Pharmacy as they are a locally owned business like Cloney's was. I felt it was important to support them by giving them my business for this reason. What a mistake. I could not have been more wrong. When I called Lima's to check if they had received my information, the woman that answered the phone there acted as though I was bothering her and was rather rude with me. All I wanted to know was if they had received my information. She treated me as if I was interrupting her dinner or like she had better things to do then provide quality costumer service. Needless to say, I have taken my business elsewhere. I do not recommend Lima's Pharmacy to anyone and hope this review prevents other former Cloney's customers from using this pharmacy. Don't be fooled, just because they are a locally owned business doesn't mean you should to have to put up with their rudeness. I will end this by saying I would not even get a prescription for s stray dog at Lima's Pharmacy. read more
