The service here is wonderful . The server Denise is wonderful,. She is so helpful. It's her birthday and she is still so helpful. She remembered I always get the guava soda here. We ordered papa rellena and tacu tacu limeno,. Every time I come no matter how crowded it is, Denise and the others go out of their way to be helpful. Suzanna the owner is very sweet. We did a survey and got a free caramel cookie. It was delicious. We were celebrating our anniversary and Suzanna asked if we got a free dessert. I took my husband here . It was his first time. We will be back.

I recommend this spot, because it's the closest authentic Peruvian food in Austin. I've had better, but they satisfy my Lomo Saltado and Chicha Morada cravings.

It was Amy first time here and overall it's a good experience. It was not too crowded and there was aplenty of space. We went here for lunch. Ceviche was really good with great contrast of citrusy and earthy flavors. I good option for when you're craving something somewhat light and refreshing. We also had Tallarin Verde. I've never had such dis before and I was pleasantly surprised! I wished the steak was available at custom temperature though. The non-alcoholic drinks were worth trying. I had Maracuya which was pretty sweet and tropical and my boyfriend had Chicha Morada which somewhat tasted like Christmas in a cup (I'd add some rum to it probably)

Papa Rellena - Stuffed mashed potato, reshaped and stuffed with a seasoned beef. So indescribably delicious. Taken in 2022

Over the years that I've dined here, "Lima Corolla" has certainly raised the bar and continue to improve on service, quality and taste of their meals. I've reviewed them a few times and we've hit some peaks and valleys. But since the expansion repurposed space the did by moving the bar to the center of the restaurant, they have earned five stars in my book. They started a new "Tour of Peru" menu by combining several Peruvian dining favorites. One in particular, they combined the Peruvian Fried Rice(chafa) and their "Lomo Saltado", into an amazing combo dish. I have always ordered this separately and I'm so glad they made this a menu item. So if you love Peruvian food or have never tried it, come on down and take the culinary tour of deliciousness at Lima Criolla, you won't be disappointed. Michael C. - Georgetown, Tx.

This was my very first time trying a Peruvian restaurant in Austin and it was totally worth it! The food was super tasty and full of flavor. The star for me was the ceviche mixto and the causa de pollo, both were amazing so delicious. I also had a chicha morada and it was really good. My friends loved the arroz con mariscos and the chupe de la limeña, you can't go wrong with the seafood here, everything was delicious! The place itself is cozy, with seating both inside and outside and it has a nice vibe. Service was okay our server felt a bit distant also it took a bit of time for our food to come out, but overall everything the food definitely made up for it.

Good spot a few times I've been. It looks like they recently remodeled and there is more space inside now. Can't go wrong with the food here. Some of the non alcoholic drinks are also worth getting.

Casual spot with a pretty big parking lot (although the spots are kind of small and annoying) and no wait on a Monday evening! The pricing isn't too bad and the portion sizes are nothing to complain about. And the workers are pretty friendly. We got Carapulcra - Not the prettiest looking dish but still really good! The thick stewy potatoes were so delicious alongside the rice. I think it was supposed to be garlic rice but looked and tasted like plain rice to me. The pork was good too, but I wish it was a little more tender and juicy. It was a little too dry for me. 1/2 Polla a la Brasa - the chicken was so juicy, I would definitely recommend this dish. I love that it comes with several sauces: rocoto, aji pollero, mayo, and vinaigrette dressing for the salad. (And also glad it came with salad because it was nice to have some light veggies along with everything else.) And the fries were also really good but fries are almost always really good.

My favorite local restaurant. It's affordable, I can always get a table, and it's super casual. And service is prompt. Drinks are always tasty. This time I tried the tamal. It was big, a little dry but had a great flavor. Empanada was a different than I expected. The dough was sweet and it had boiled egg inside.

My friend and I both enjoyed what we ordered here. She had been once before and suggested we go. I got the chicken plate that comes with salad & fries, and she got a steak, rice, and fries plate. Came with plenty of different sauces to try. Good prices. Quick and friendly service, inside and outside seating, vast menu. I would return!

The seafood soup is so flavorful and has every kind of seafood you can imagine. The fried catfish fillet is the best. Much try this place.

The restaurant is open and welcoming with a substantial outdoor patio as well as the indoor seating. Our server was friendly and very helpful with finding food that worked around my food intolerances. I started with a Pisco sour traditional. It was tart and delicious, very well made. Then I ordered the Lobo saltado with sirloin, minus the onions. The meat was tender and had so much flavor, and the fries were perfect for sopping up the delicious sauce. The garlic rice I gave my son, and he said it was delicious. He ordered the Pan con Chicharron. He ate every bite and said it was delicious. They were very generous with the meat in both our meals. We can't wait to come back again.

I came here on a weekday evening for dinner for 2 people. It was a later dinner so there was plenty of open seating when we went. As far as the service, it is good but it was a bit on the slower side. If you're in a rush, I might go somewhere else or let them know ahead of time. We weren't so it wasn't an inconvenience. It also looks like they're planning on adding more space to be able to fit more tables soon. The chicha morada was very good. As an appetizer, we got the papa rellena. I appreciated the good amount of meat inside the potato and also the sauce that went with it. For my entree, I ordered the Aji de Gallina. The sauce with the chicken was very tasty and creamy. My husband ordered the Lomo Saltado and he enjoyed the flavor but he mentioned the beef was a little tough. He learned after the fact that on the menu there is an option to upgrade your beef for an upcharge. The menu has a variety of dishes that were appealing. I would like to return to try the ceviche and a few other dishes that caught my eye!

Highly recommend this place. The restaurant is big and bright, the staff is super friendly and very attentive. Came on a Thursday for lunch, everything was so so good, and left feeling full and very happy. The ceviche was well-seasoned and tasted very fresh. The acidity from the little cup of sauce pairs very well with the seafood, and both kinds of corn were very enjoyable. Tallarines Verdes with steak was absolutely delicious! The green pesto was creamy, and the steak was cooked medium, so tender. The Two pieces of fried potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, pair well with the sauce, too! Both drinks Chicha morada and maracuya were very refreshing. The cinnamon and cloves flavor in the Chicha morada is strong but not too overpowering. Maracuya, the passion fruit juice, is just perfect on a hot summer day. Overall a very pleasant and fulfilling lunch. Would definitely recommend this place and am very excited to visit again to try more dishes!

We started with their famous house Margaritas with Tajín, and they were absolutely delicious--and definitely strong in the best way. My boyfriend and I shared the Ceviche Las Brisas, which was incredibly fresh with generous, perfectly cut pieces of fresh white fish from the Gulf of Mexico. For our main dish, we split the vegetable Enchiladas de Mole Poblano, served with rice and black refried beans. I wish the enchiladas had more vegetables. Everything on the plate was outstanding, and I truly think they have the best mole in town--rich, complex, and unforgettable. We were also celebrating a friend's birthday, and the staff made it extra special by surprising her with a complimentary Tres Leches cake, which was just as amazing as everything else we had. Great food, lively atmosphere, and wonderful service--Fonda San Miguel continues to be one of our favorite spots. We can't wait to go back!

The name didn't fool me, I knew I good tattoo takes upward of 6 minutes and I only had 4 at my disposal. Antojitos didn't disappoint. I perused the menu and found pleasure in the platano based dishes. I asked the señor in the window in perfect, broken Spanish what the best plato was on the menu. The response? Todos. Typico. After I wagged my finger he recommended the carne asada which I promptly procured. Price was a bit more than I anticipated: $8 but the portion was huge! Strips of steak, pickled onion, cabbage, plaintains, beans, and a block of cheese. The carne was quite good (except a bit salty) as were the plaintains and onions. I found the beans and cheese just too salty for these buds. Kudos for the large portions, friendly delivery, and Hondurenness of it all. I will definitely volver.

Also, the carne asada is amazing!! It is a bed of fried green plantains, with strips of carne asada, a cabbage salad, and a creamy tomato cream sauce and the sides include black beans, and a pico de gallo like salad (called chimol)!
