Incredible Pets

I used to visit Incredible Pets when I was at their previous location in Melbourne FL. My family…read moreand I visited this location and I wasn't blown away by their selection of pets. They also used to have an enormous Alligator Snapping Turtle, but they don't have it any longer. They have the name "Incredible Pets" but they just don't have very many incredible pets. On our visit, we came upon a cute baby tortoise, and we were considering getting it, and we were told that he wasn't for sale, but there were no signs or anything letting us know this before we got our hopes up. In fact we only stopped a team member to ask why the tortoise had white markings on his shell, before we found out that it wasn't for sale. I also felt that they should do something to prevent customers from seeing them feeding live animals to the other animals. I walked by a small snake tank, and the snake was in the process of eating a live tiny pink baby newborn mouse, and this really disturbed me deeply. I was raised to love all animals, and we had several pet hamsters growing up as well. Incredible Pets will literally try and sell baby hamsters to their customers, and then turn around and expect their customers to be okay with stumbling upon a newborn baby mouse getting eaten alive by a snake. It really disturbed me. I literally walked around the store trying to talk myself out of having a panic attack, only to stumble upon a tank with a giant toad inside, and then see a tiny adorable white mouse, shaking to death in the opposite side of the tank, that was put in the tank to feed the toad. If Incredible Pets can't feed their animals at night, feed them after hours, cover their tanks during feeding times, or feed them in the back of the store, couldn't they at least put up warning signs for their customers? Children do not need to see this type of thing happening. I obviously didn't enjoy myself here, and my family and I left this store in agreement that it was way too over priced. I did see the employees working hard here and they were all very friendly and helpful. I saw the store was also very clean and it well stocked with pet supplies as well.

This pet store has almost anything for your exotic needs…read more I'm a cat owner and this is NOT a place I go for my cat nor for dogs, however, I also have a snake and this place is a haven for reptile, bird, and small mammal enthusiast. They have amazing cage set ups, decorations, foods, toys, health and wellness supplies extraordinarily educated Staff members that clearly have a passion for these critters. It's a zoo in so many ways, but one you can find your new best friend in and take them home with all the knowledge you need to give them a beautiful new home and make them a well cared for new family member. After visiting this place for years on end, I hate that I haven't wrote a review sooner because this place is truly a gem of Brevard for any of those that want to see, touch or care for their own unique family members.

I honestly don't know where to begin if you're an animal lover or love amphibians and stuff like…read morethat this is absolutely not the place to go. The housing situations. These animals are kept in are not acceptable in any way shape or form if you're unable to how is those type of animals for the what should be short maybe a couple months or so until they find a home then you shouldn't be purchasing them to sell the other people I do not understand why there was a very adult turtle that looked pretty full grown probably around a foot to 8 inches inside of a very small tank with no basking and no light not to mention they have birds and those birds are kept in the exact same room as their hamsters guinea pigs, etc. and those birds are very known to be very talkative Which are most birds, but being held in the same room to where you can tell that the hamsters and other sorts are stressed running around, trying to get out starting fights in their cage is completely unacceptable. Not to mention the smell and the cleanliness of this place the dust everywhere I get it some products don't get used often or you have a stock pile but removing them and cleaning up it is not that difficult. I've worked in Customer Service for basically my entire life, and while the gentleman was kind of nice was also very condescending like he knew everything. The problem with that is if you knew everything, the shop would not look the way it looked considering we were told that it was a family owned business, and he was part of the family. I would think you know you would have a little bit of say about how these animals are kept. I know this isn't in the best part of town or anything like that not expecting top dollar top-notch everything I'm expecting the animals to be in a healthy environment while they are being waited to be adopted by another family that will love and take care of them based on the conditions that I saw them in I would never purchase an animal from them because you do not know what type of condition that animal will be in when you receive it Unfortunately when I thought I was going into a very nice hole in the wall pet store I ended up coming out with a lot of questions that will never be answered on why this place is open and how people allow this place to be open

And as she was putting the snake in a bag he was asking questions about what it eats where to buy the food, and how often to feed the snake. And when she was about to check us out she asked my bother "are you able to take care of the snake" and I said yes he has everything else he needs at home. And she proceeds to say "I'm not going to sell the snake to you because I don't want to risk him dying I'm sorry I won't do it". So he was just saying okay and he left. And I said that wouldn't have been the only animal that we would have we have other pets and yes the snake would have been in good hands and a happy home. When I got home my bother told my mom what happened because he was so upset. So she called up there and the woman had gave her an attitude as well.

I got in the vehicle and she runs to my door , opens it and throws money at me, while also trying to snatch the new water bottle out my hand. 0/10 stars. That older lady that works in there is bat sh*t
