So we decided to try it out. It was bath time for our two dogs. You pay up front and then go to the back of the store to get to it. It's open with a gate to keep excited dogs from getting away. They also supply shampoo and soaps. They also keep many stacks of clean towels ready for use. So, if you want to give your dog a bath, and your bathroom looks like a war zone when you're done, head over there.

We have taken him to this store multiple times for haircuts and have been pleased for the most part. This time is beyond awful. The groomer even knew it was awful as she asked me to pay prior to getting my dog back and claimed it was because he was really excited to go home and likely wouldn't let me stop at the cashier. It is clear now that she didn't want me to refuse paying for this terrible cut. I didn't get a good look at his cut until we got home. They basically shaved his stomach and cut so close that his skin had irritation bumps. His cut is so uneven and choppy and not at all the shadow cut we asked for - it's not a cut anyone would ask for. It is so short and just awful. I have pictures but am unable to upload them to my review. Then, we get Huckleberry home, and he proceeds to drink water for what felt like 5 minutes straight. I assume he was just kept in a kennel without any water and probably super anxious. It is unfortunate but we won't be returning. The previous groomers were incredible and thus why we continued to return. We won't be back this time.

I originally brought my 4-month-old puppy, Sadie, in for a bath and sanitary trim, following my vet's advice since her adult coat hasn't fully grown in yet. On Wednesday, I was told the bath and sanitary trim couldn't be done because there was mild matting on her feet--despite the fact that I brush her daily. I was told her body was fine, but that she would need a puppy trim, which I then booked for Saturday because they couldn't accommodate us that day (after driving 20 minutes to get there). When I returned on Saturday, a different groomer checked her in and suddenly claimed Sadie had matting all over her body and needed a full cut. This directly contradicted what I was told just days earlier--that her body was fine and only her feet were an issue. Nothing had changed between Wednesday and Saturday. What made this more concerning was a comment mentioned to me that PetSmart often claims matting to justify charging a higher grooming fee. I truly hope that's not the case, but the inconsistency between groomers raised red flags. I specifically booked with Karol after seeing a positive review about her, and I'm hoping the service itself reflects that reputation. However, the conflicting information, multiple appointments, and lack of consistency made this a stressful experience--especially as a new puppy owner just trying to do the right thing. I expected clearer communication and consistency across staff. Pro: you can pretty much anything you need for your pup.
