I used to visit Incredible Pets when I was at their previous location in Melbourne FL. My family and I visited this location and I wasn't blown away by their selection of pets. They also used to have an enormous Alligator Snapping Turtle, but they don't have it any longer. They have the name "Incredible Pets" but they just don't have very many incredible pets. On our visit, we came upon a cute baby tortoise, and we were considering getting it, and we were told that he wasn't for sale, but there were no signs or anything letting us know this before we got our hopes up. In fact we only stopped a team member to ask why the tortoise had white markings on his shell, before we found out that it wasn't for sale. I also felt that they should do something to prevent customers from seeing them feeding live animals to the other animals. I walked by a small snake tank, and the snake was in the process of eating a live tiny pink baby newborn mouse, and this really disturbed me deeply. I was raised to love all animals, and we had several pet hamsters growing up as well. Incredible Pets will literally try and sell baby hamsters to their customers, and then turn around and expect their customers to be okay with stumbling upon a newborn baby mouse getting eaten alive by a snake. It really disturbed me. I literally walked around the store trying to talk myself out of having a panic attack, only to stumble upon a tank with a giant toad inside, and then see a tiny adorable white mouse, shaking to death in the opposite side of the tank, that was put in the tank to feed the toad. If Incredible Pets can't feed their animals at night, feed them after hours, cover their tanks during feeding times, or feed them in the back of the store, couldn't they at least put up warning signs for their customers? Children do not need to see this type of thing happening. I obviously didn't enjoy myself here, and my family and I left this store in agreement that it was way too over priced. I did see the employees working hard here and they were all very friendly and helpful. I saw the store was also very clean and it well stocked with pet supplies as well. read more

This pet store has almost anything for your exotic needs. I'm a cat owner and this is NOT a place I go for my cat nor for dogs, however, I also have a snake and this place is a haven for reptile, bird, and small mammal enthusiast. They have amazing cage set ups, decorations, foods, toys, health and wellness supplies extraordinarily educated Staff members that clearly have a passion for these critters. It's a zoo in so many ways, but one you can find your new best friend in and take them home with all the knowledge you need to give them a beautiful new home and make them a well cared for new family member. After visiting this place for years on end, I hate that I haven't wrote a review sooner because this place is truly a gem of Brevard for any of those that want to see, touch or care for their own unique family members. read more

This place has the absolute BEST prices on aquarium tanks, even better than Amazon. The employees were very knowledgeable and friendly, they helped me get the correct gravel for my yellow bellied slider turtles. Their pricing for aquarium tank decor is unbeatable, I highly recommend Incredible Pets if you have a turtle and or fish - or if you're thinking of getting one they have a great selection that looked very well cared for. I came in originally just to look around and left with a 20 gallon tank because the pricing was too good to pass up. Their prices for tank stands are also great. read more

They sold me a sick turtle hatchling. Staff was very nice, but they shouldn't put a sick turtle "On sale" bc it's sick and will die in inventory at a loss of profit. Bad business practice in the pet trade. If some of their inventory is sick you should not have it "on sale" just to get it out the door. Removing the sick turtles from the sales floor for treatment would be the best decision, but it seems like these animals/reptiles are just products and not living beings to them. Very bad experience. Would NOT recommend buying any creature from this store. Glad i could help you guys profit from the sick inventory you sold me. Now I have to worry about this turtle hatchlings respiratory infection spreading to my healthy hatchling that its sharing an enclosure so thanks for that! And thanks for nothing. read more

A truly unique pet store. They have a large selection of birds, snakes, reptiles and fish. Twice as many as any other store in the area. Then are the animals that no one else carries, they have lemurs, large iguanas, monkeys. My favorite animal in the store is the sloth. If only my husband would let me have one. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The only reason I didn't give them five stars is because they are more expensive, in some cases double the price, of any other pet store around. read more

Go to the nearest rescue or sanctuary and volunteer before purchasing. Exotic animals are NOT dogs or cats! They will never act as expected. NEVER. They are not domestic animals bred for decades to be pets. Super cool until they bite, pee, poop, or act like a wild animal. Because they are wild animals. What happens when a wild animal is caged? It's not their instinctual environment, they become neurotic. They need their own kind. I was going to post photos of the animals, but I don't want to encourage purchasing. Research shows that when sloths are taken out of their natural habitat to be handled by tourists, it damages their health and mental wellbeing. So we came in to drop some $$$$$ looking to buy a bird it was going to be about 3k we where talking to a very nice lady and she was helping us interact with them( birds) on what one we would want ... saw 2 very pretty ones of the the side put my finger on the outside on the opposite side of the bird held it still and was softy talking to them... they where coming close as they where getting comfortable... heavy set man comes out of no where and "barks" "THATS MY BREADING PAIR! GET AWAY IT STRESSE ThEM!!!" And walks away. I looked around to see if there was a sign I missed on the cage ... no sign. Looked to see if I had stepped into a roped off area ... nope again just a bird in a cage mixed in will all the other birds for sale ! Not even a "not for sale" sign on the cage . Maybe next time you don't bark at customers where are working with your sales team to purchase a bird and just walk away... maybe come up and say " I know there so sign but it stressed them out can you not? After many years of doing business here with the previous owner, sadly things have changed in the opposite direction. When things go bad it's all about how you address it that makes the difference.I spent hundreds of dollars on an albino Sulcata Tortoise. Eight days later, it died, called the store, put it in a freezer to til I had an opportunity to drive the 100 miles on the weekend. 2 weeks from date of purchase,it was taken into the store to reconcile the situation, the manager refused to address it. He states it should have been brought in be its demise. He would be a better fit and abut here pay used car lot as a career choice. I would not but a cricket from this guy. read more

I get my crickets from here, they have a great variety of feeder options like hornworms, discoid roaches, and other meal worms. The crickets always stay alive for a very long time after purchase, and they're very affordable. I've never bought a pet here, but I like to walk around and see their variety of options, and the enclosures are always nicely set up. Also, there were a few bad reviews that were really misplaced. - To the person "who got there 4 minutes early and they wouldn't let you in" GO WAIT IN YOUR CAR lol. - to the person who said "the fox food looks old", they soften the food for young animals that don't have fully developed teeth. ‍ read more

Helpful people but the "incredible" in the name stands for incredibly high prices. Normal Fluval planted 3.0 48-60 inch light goes for $220-$240 but at incredible pets it was $355! That's incredibly high markup. Asked the cashier if this was a error and she said no that's typically what the sell for there. Either their retailer is ripping them off or they flat out don't care. Buyer beware when buying animals from this store. I got the "I told you so" from purchasing a pet from here; always use a breeder before a pet store. I drove 1 hr to Incredible pets to get a Selcata Tortoise. The person who helped me with my Tortoise was very nice and I could tell was new, but very helpful. The person at the register wasn't very nice, I think she was having a bad day but I didn't mind I was bringing home a new baby. I brought it Home and 3 days later had to euthanize. My poor baby had what's called a yellow spot fungus or austwickia chelonae. My vet offered me a treatment plan but I had chose to decline due to there is about a 1% chance of full recovery and about a 10% chance I might get a year out of him. This poor baby wasn't eating and loosing weight and just sleeping; also this being a zoonotic Disease and having two small children, I chose to have him euthanized. So I called the pet store back and told them about what was going on and how contagious this disease is and that it not only affects tortoises but other animals. The person I spoke to rushed me off the phone. I guess he was worried I was going to try to fight and get my money back but I knew I singed a release saying pet is as is when sold. I called back the next day to talk to someone about when they were getting another shipment in because I was seriously interested in getting a tortoise again since my kids were in love and I had the ultimate set up and was will to take the sanitizing precautions to house another tortoise; I called and asked to speak to a manager but they didn't have one so I just spoke to the reptile department. The young guys I spoke to was very nice. I explained my situation and told them that I understood I signed an as is form and Was just trying to let them know how contagious this disease is and it is also Zoonotic meaning other species can get it like birds and lizards especially. He sounded more concerned then the previous persons I spoke to and told me he will contact the owner right away and I gave him my number and told him, the owner can call me if they have any questions. Nobody offered to make my sad experience here better also as contagious as this disease is I wasn't ready to get another tortoise from the same tank. I will contact a breeder instead. Working in the veterinary field I know better than getting animals from pet stores but I thought I could trust this pet store. read more

I arrived and was standing out front in the sun at 9:56am. 4 min prior to opening an employee entered the front and didn't offer to let me in and rest from the intense sun. I stopped her and asked if I could enter and I wouldn't be a burden , I just needed to get out of the intense direct sun and she said she's NOT allowed. I believe that if any management sees this post they should immediately correct this. This is the Good Human thing to do. We're talking 4 min prior to opening. The staff could get families (customers) out of the sun and advise them that no one is available to help until opening. This was a terrible oversight on the staffs part. Had my children and wife been standing out front Id have been furious. I shop here very often and will be back soon at 9:56 again to see if this is corrected. My boys and I have visited Incredible Pets several times trying to decide which pet my son wanted. It's very clean and odorless (awesome compared to their past location). It's like a trip to the zoo with several exotic animals to see. After much research, my son decided to get a Curlyhair tarantula! It was actually free with the purchase of an enclosure. Once we hunted down the salesperson, he was very helpful and even fed it before we left the store. Now we'll be making weekly trips there to buy crickets. Fun! read more

i love coming in here and looking at all of the different animals but it honestly doesn't seem like they're super well bred. we bought a parakeet from here in 2022 and she died after only a year. it seems she had some sort of genetic issue as all of our other parakeets are completely healthy. read more

A few years ago, we bought a ferret for my daughter from Incredible Pets. It died in 5 days, and they told us there was no warranty or guarantee. Our vet found that the ferret had died from a virus that it had before we even bought it. Recently we made a mistake of buying an Indian Ringneck bird for a ridiculously high price from Incredible Pets. The bird just paces back and forth in it's cage, and has not bonded with my daughter. We asked the general manager if we could bring the bird back, and get a refund. He would not budge on their "As is" policy, and even said that all of their animals are "Livestock". That's funny, because I've never considered ferrets and birds as Livestock. Livestock has always been referred to as farm animals like cattle, pigs, and chickens. My advice is to steer clear of Incredible Pets, unless you want to be ripped off and have no warranty on any overpriced animals they sell! read more
