Lily massage came through in the clutch. We normally go to happy feet up the street for a walk in hour massage. They were busy so we searched a place near by and found lily massage. They were able to take up and we ended up getting a 30 minute massage since we lost some time. The massage was great and the ladies who assisted us were nice and welcoming. I have been to lily massage 2 times. The first time we were in a back room. It was so private and relaxing. We brought friends back with us this time. My fiancé and I agreed it was one of the best reflexology massages we had gotten. It is $40/hour. However, one complaint I do have is that we were placed in a front room this time. So in addition to people coming in, we could also hear text message pings quite often from the front desk. Our room also had a tv with the volume on low and the lights were flashing that I could see through the eye covering. Then someone came in to watch tv in the room and they were talking nonstop to the massage therapist which took a lot away from the experience. I almost gave them 3 stars but the massage itself was so good, so it made up for it. But next time I will request to be in a room in the back. read more

Sorry, Lily. I respect your entrepreneurship of operating 2 businesses. I really thought this was just a cakewalk. After this awful experience, I don't think I want to shop at your alteration store any more. In the afternoon of Fourth of July, I saw fireworks with tears in my eyes. I was only here to get a neck massage. But instead, my back was tortured by an angry Asian man. The man, I wouldn't call him a massage therapist, he used his elbow plus his little body weight pressed my back. Like I was a piece of tough meat. He kneaded every piece of meat (well, it used to be muscles. It feels like sponges now). I normally endure the pain, use Blue-Emu oil or go to church praying for pain to go away. But this time, it was a nerve pinch on my left arm with excruciating pain on the neck. Wait. This man "tenderized" my back instead. He hardly touched my neck. For being on the 3rd day, the pain extended to my elbow with existing pain on my left neck, plus several puffed spots on my back. I told the man, "輕點" (take it easy) and "啊! 好痛" (Aaaah, it hurts!). He didn't respond with less pressure but only grunted. To the point I almost got up and left when he went to get some hot towels. He came back and they were lukewarm. My fatal mistake was paying by credit card for the half-hour service $30 with customary tips $5 before service. I read a reviewer received her money back. I think it's too late to go back. WARNING: DO NOT COME HERE!!!!!!! After having a beautiful brunch experience in the Uptown Park area, I suggested that my friends and I get a massage at (what I originally wanted to be Oasis). However, the wait was too long and we stumbled upon Lily...biggest mistake we could've made. Let's begin with the service. We were told to blindly walk into this room that was kind of dirty and unruly. There was no music playing and it smelled stale. I've been to similar places multiple times but this time was memorable. Let me start with my massage: it sucked. And unfortunately, for me, that wasn't the worst part. Good Lord, the massage was almost comical! So let's start with the water that we were told to put our feet in...it was room temperature, at best. Then, we were just laying there in these beds without any music and not to mention that one of them was UNMADE and UNRULY. This place is alright. I came here when Oasis had no more appointments available for the evening. (Maybe Oasis should rename themselves to "Mirage.") So Lily appears to be much larger and MUCH more upscale than Oasis. The interior decor is a lot nicer, and they have invested in some lovely baskets for you to put your purse, phone, wallet, shoes, watch, etc. while getting massaged. For $25 (because I paid with credit card instead of $20 for cash), I got an hour long foot reflexology massage, which was lovely. There was a foot soak, attention to the head, hands, wrists, and feet. There was also some hot rocks going on, and a hot towel to finish. So why only two stars? The place is too open and too noisy for me. There is no door that separates the room where they pour the hot water in/out of the buckets. People are noisy and having full-on conversations around you. You can hear the toilet flushing. You can see into the other open rooms (most seat multiple people) from where you are getting massaged. So despite the LOVELY interior and LOVELY massage, it doesn't make for a completely relaxing experience, which for me is the whole point of getting a massage. HOWEVER, I would not rule this place out completely. I might have just gone on some busy night. read more

She demanded money right away, but we were trying to figure out how long the wait would be. Started my 2020 with a massage at Lily Massage in Houston Chinatown. The place looked nicer then other parlors I have visited in the area. I got a massage by David and my wife with Lily. We enjoyed our massages very much. I felt the knots on my back being loosen up and that felt great. I'll most definitely be back for a longer service next time. If there is an option for a zero star I would give it - aweful experiences. We did a 40 min foot massage but spent 10 min just waiting in a dark room. Too much talking and picking up phone calls. Worse part - the massage therapists were talking about tips and making racial remarks about previous customers, which is extremely unprofessional and wrong. If you want good tips - earn it. I would give ZERO star if there's an option. I have 30mins back massage which cost $40. The therapist use her elbow for the whole time. When I told her please don't use your elbow anymore, the lady outside said it's 30min already. Basically, I don't feel relaxed and not be treated well. I gave $8 tips which is 20% and I think it's fair but the lady said it's not enough, I should give $10. First of all, The therapist is totally unprofessional. Second, if you want more tips, you should try better to earn it. No recommend it. read more

It literally has no cushion...You can feel the metal frame under the cushion and the hole isn't big enough for your face. Also, they never do my feet and like 2 seconds on my hands when i choose a number 4. Sooooo BEWARE! if you want legs and feet done, do not choose a number 4 Specifically ask for lily, and get a number 4. That's if you want whole body, and you are looking for more of a Swedish style kind of massage. (Kneading, slow strokes) anyways, I have literally tried all the foot reflexology places on bellaire, and this place is as good as they'll get. My rating loses a star for the price. Most other places are cheaper, but you get what you pay for. This place has better decor meaning it isn't as sketchy looking inside, pleasing to the eye (ikea furniture style) & cleaner. I lived in Shanghai for a little while and really loved the availability of inexpensive, relaxing foot massages so decided to try this place out. It's $15 for a 40-minute foot massage. The place is brand new and pleasantly decorated, quiet, dimly lit. The owner (?) was really welcoming, shooing us in from the walkway outside. My foot massage consisted of a hot foot soak in a large plastic-lined tub, massage of the ears and hands, and then acupressure massage of the feet (with the therapist wearing latex gloves for the foot massage part). I liked the attention to hygiene. My therapist was totally adequate though not the best I've ever had, but had really strong hands. The atmosphere here is communal -- you're reclining in a chair next to your friend or the next patron -- but I like that. After the massage, back in the lobby, the proprietress gave us a sample of a gelatinous mushroom drink they keep in a fridge behind the counter, since we'd asked about it. It's supposed to be good for you. It was actually quite refreshing. As with most places in Chinatown, cash is the preferred form of payment here. I'll definitely visit again and I hope to try out some of the other therapists. read more

I've gotten foot rubs from almost all of the massages places in the Dun Huang plaza except for this one (there's like 6). Lily's located on the second floor above Tiger Den. I went on a Saturday afternoon -parking is chaos here on the weekends, just go straight to the second floor garage. Setting: 4 out of 5. From the outside, it doesn't look like much. But there are multiple rooms (for the full body massages) and the "common" area for the reflexology. The setting is pretty tranquil and dark. Price: Good deal!! I had the $18 for a 40min reflexology massage. Service menus states they do not take credit cards for services under $20, but they do. Massage: eh. I guess it was ok at the moment. They were running a special this weekend for $30 for 30 min back massage and $16 for 40 min foot massage (cash only for this deal, otherwise it's $18). I came along and got the foot massage. My husband said his back massage was really good and the masseuse really worked out all his knots and even gave him an adjustment-- but they shorted his time and gave him a little under 25 minutes when we paid for 30 minutes. My foot massage was mediocre. It just wasn't as great as the other ones that I have gotten on Bellaire. Also, it was kind of odd that she put gloves on when she was massaging my feet. I understand may be more hygienic, but I've never experienced this with other foot massages *shrug. The place is clean and the decor is nicer than the other places on Bellaire, but the loudest toilet in the world is still loud and the distractions (employees walking in and out, talking etc) don't make for a very relaxing environment. read more

We often use the one hour whole body massage with full foot relaxation. The price is only 35 for one hour and you get one ticket free if you buy five tickets at the same time. It's perfect for the family to enjoy and relax together. They are very professional and definitely will help you relax the tough spots. I love lily massage! read more

I asked for deep tissue and this poor lady tore into me for the full 60 minutes and she new what she was doing . Left there for a good 30 minutes when they must have called in someone to show up. This frenetic insane lady rushed in, and gave me the worst massage I've ever had in my life. I paid $50 for a full body massage---got all elbows and a frenetic scrub down that was so hurried and concentrated in a single space on my shoulders, she never had me roll over, barely touched my legs, didn't touch my head or hands--not even my lower back---it was sooo weird. Didn't ask for any feedback save a form I filled out that was pretty well ignored. No music--but the therapist took two phone calls in the middle of my service. This was awful. Head into the red world of chinatown venturing out into the world of foot massages. a few things of note when you go into a chinese foot massage place in chinatown - you're in chinatown, don't expect people to speak english - If you don't speak chinese,particularly mandarin, find someone who does - chinese foot massage concept involves pressure points. So yes, its supposed to hurt. no more surprise. first comes the pain followed by relaxation. so its a bad then good surprise. - body or foot. any chinatown foot massage is more likely less expensive than any Massage whatever outfit outside of chinatown. its cheap, don't complain. want better? like english speaking? go to an english speaking place. - my friend chose this place because they have a seperate person who is a certified massage therapist to work your back and neck muscles while a different person does the foot rub. foot rubbers dont' need certs. Some places just have one person doing the whole hour rub. so in this place you get 2 masseuse's when you go in. keep in mind the tip is split between 2 people and the 30 dollars you pay up front probably doesn't go very far to begin with to pay both the guys on top of the cut that goes to the outfit. - this place accepts credit cards. Located about a block just past the obnoxious national american something bank (i never remember the name), you'll find a mysterious parking garage with lily foot massage on the second floor next to a banner with the mispelled "confort" lounge. walking in is a small but nice lobby. Clearly built out to compete with some of the nicer spas outside of chinatown with their attempt to break out beyond the stereotypical asian spa perception. Lots of marble tile, nice dark teak wood beam accents on top of the bamboo ceiling and lots of museum styled halogens spotlighting the rock and small plants on the walls with door frames bordered by different asian looking wooden frames. You definitely get the sense of clean and quiet. Very dimly lit, past the doors are 4-5 private massage rooms and 3 open areas with big cushy lounge chairs where groups of 3,4 and 8 can sit together. I kinda liked that. The lounge chairs are big and cushy equipped with a cubby underneath to stow personal belongings and shoes and a reclining back and convertible face hole for you to flip over and have them work on your neck and back.. with your clothes on. Yea, that was new to me too. Going in i went for the foot massage and back/neck rub. deal was for 30 bux. The lady i had started out rubbing my head and neck, behind the ears and forehead. it was nice and relaxing. She did that for a few minutes and then went back to bring out the hot water basket. the basket had a plastic liner filled with hot water. not scorching hot but i would say jacuzzi hot. my friend didn't think it was hot enough and asked them to refill it. after a good soak, the feet were dried and with surgical latex gloves they started with the ends of my toes.. like needles poked into the toe ends, it was kind of painful at first but as they worked up to my heel, it was a little easier. After the rub, my feet was rubbed down by a hot stone and then a final scrub of towels to remove the lotion. The pain I'm told is a sign of dehydration or poor circulation or whatever. maybe so. I just know it was feeling a bit better thereafter. Afterwards, they asked me to flip over and started doing the karate chop-slap on the back of my feet and my back as you see some of the asian dudes do at the malls. That was a pretty funny surprise and it definitely woke me up. After that experience, i would go back and try their more expensive massages. I am beyond disbelief that they would do this to us. 4 of us happened to walk by and saw this massage salon and decided to get their service. we were divided into two rooms. Our masseuses convinced us to do an upgrade which was a foot with back massage combo. Their foot massage already comes with back massage too so we were first already tricked into paying more. During the service, our masseuses were talking on their phones; one hand holding on the phone while the other is massaging. One of them kept leaving (5 times) to go greet customers at the door... making our massage time less than it really is. At the end they charged us $50 each and when we hand them cash and asked for them to break some change so we can tip them... they took it and gave us back the incorrect change. They took $20 each and said they are keeping that as their tip. We asked them number ours times to not do that but they left us out on the lobby and went into the back. My experience frankly chronicled: 1) I called to make an appointment for a 1-hour body massage during a weekday evening. They just ask for your phone number and didn't bother asking your name. 2) When I arrived on time, I saw on their table a calendar book with just phone numbers but no details. This was their "appointment" book. Then they asked me if I booked for 30 min or 1-hr. When I said 1 hr, they said they don't have time because there is someone after me. So I settled for 30 min. This was 25 min after my scheduled appointment time. 3) They asked me to pay CASH - BEFORE my massage! When I said I'm paying credit card, they said ok we'll settle later. Completely unprofessional. Why would anyone pay for a massage before receiving it?!! 4) The messeuse gave me a 25 min massage and left. The quality was average. He called me "dude" (in chinese) the whole time and never addressed me by name. It made me feel like a young man doesn't deserve a massage. This is drastically different from other comparably-priced places that treat you like VIPs. You can also hear the clock inside the room ticking. Tick, Tick, Tick... 5) When I came out, the front lady (owner?) "demanded" me to pay tips to the messeuse, who has already disappeared. When I tried to break a $10 bill, she gave me two $5 bills - why the f**k would I pay $5 for a $30 massage that preceeded with all the bad experiences?!! When I asked for $5 and five $1, the lady first refused, then asked me how much tips I wanted to give to the messeuse (which was between me and the messeuse and none of her f****ing business!), then made a big hassle out of it before she finally brought out the change. 6) Then she refused to take my Amex card - Visa/MC only. 7) Finally, another man yelled to the inside: "Hey Messuse XXX! The hot stones, the hot water, and its pretty quiet when we go. Five stars for the foot massage. Onto the body massage... I decided to try the full body 60 min. massage and requested a female. Currently, there are two female therapists, the owner, Lily, and another taller, larger woman. Tall lady takes my cash and puts it in her own pocket and says she'll be doing the massage. I ask for gradual deep pressure massage and she says, "okay". I specified certain areas on my back were more sensitive and to use less pressure on those areas. To sum it up, here are some things she said to me: "ok, I'll do it your way". Sigh, clicks her tongue, stops massaging and says, "I don't know what to do with you", "I just did that part harder and you said it's too hard", "I don't know what you want", "I do what I do on everyone else and you don't like it", some more sighing and clicking her tongue, "I did it your way and you don't like it", etc. All the while I'm being patient and retelling her the middle of my back is more sensitive.. After 30 minutes of being sighed at and feeling like I'm inconveniencing her, I said, "ok, I'm done. Just go, and I'll get dressed." She gave me partial cash back, but I wanted to talk to Lily and she said she wasn't there. I came back 10 minutes later and low and behold... I see Lily. Got the rest of my money back. 0 stars..
