They massage your head/scalp/shoulders/arm/back/legs/complete body.. couple minutes in those area but focus most of time on the feet during the 1 hours session. I went here today with my girlfriend to try this place out, and it was a terrible mistake. The "special" price for 60 minutes of foot massage is $20 per person. The service was a bit lousy. The first 5-10 minutes was spent dipping my feet into hot water. Afterward, the lady came in my massaged my face then my arms for another 10 minutes. The foot massage lasted around 10-15 minutes then the back and neck massage for another 5-10 minutes. Thankfully the person did not beat the crap out of me like the previous places. The worst part was at the end. The total price for 2 people would be $40. I gave them $15 for tips and that would be more then they would receive. The receptionist had the audacity to ask me "Is that it?". I mean c'on!!! Call me cheap if you want to but there is no way in hell I will tip someone 50% of the price for their service. Not all foot spas are created equal. My friend and I decided to try this place out on a whim. We had just eaten lunch at Tofu Village and we were coming down the stairs from FIT and thought why not try a new place. Standing outside Canyon, we scanned yelp quickly to see what yelpers thought. Reviews were decent but some warned about one of the masseuses with rough hands and calluses. We contemplated for a good couple of minutes whether we should try it out or drive to Happy Feet. We should have done the latter. The only good that came out of this experience was the closed off rooms. And the water bottles they gave us at the end. As for the bad...the massage started off with the lady massaging my cheeck bones. Like wth. I know asian foot spas aren't like the American Spas but I don't need that massaged. The remainder of the massage was painful and not relaxing. I don't think she understood how to use her hands. I spent a good chunk of time wondering if it was all going to be over soon. I've had two fantastic massages where I actually dozed off because I was so relaxed, one that was just OK (the massage was too light, barely felt it), and one that was on the painful side (not lasting, and I slept great that night, but it wasn't the most relaxing massage). Here's why it's a 1-star: 1) The employees chit chat and gossip a lot while giving the massage, and not quietly. This is distracting. They have done this 3/4 times I've been there for a massage. 2) Their chit-chatting is ESPECIALLY disruptive because they talk shit about you while you're RIGHT THERE getting the massage. Again, this happened on THREE separate occasions. I don't know why they would do this because I spoke in Mandarin to them so ostensibly they knew I could understand them, but they made repeated references and jokes about the bodies of two members in my party. They made comments like, "This one is so fat," and "You take the fat one, I'll take the skinny one." No mistranslation here. I was just glad my friends didn't understand their conversation. 3) They kept talking about tips that other patrons gave, which I found pretty crass, as they were saying unbelievably inappropriate and mean things about some of the customers. 4) One employee's phone kept going off. The ringtone was loud and disruptive, and he always answered the phone. When I shared this experience with the manager, he seemed unconcerned and was very, very slow to apologize. This is one of the worst service I have ever attended! I have been to this place a total of three times and I gave them the Benefit of the doubt the last two times. But it seems their rudeness was consistent. After I pay for my service each time, they watch over me to make sure I tip. The first time I went I didn't tip because I wasn't satisfied, and the staff practically cursed me out for not tipping. I left upset because I thought tipping was optional but apparently not. The third time I went, I added a tip because I was satisfied. When I was done tipping, they gave me back my check and said it's not enough like wth. Amazing massage! I've never had any complaints here. The only thing to be aware of is that their $20 Foot Massage deal is a full body massage with a little extra attention to the feet. For me, that's a plus - it's a cheap full body massage and well done. The facilities are clean and the ambience is really nice. There's soft melodic flute music in the background and the temperature is nice. The sheets/towels are clean and crisp when you come in. The main spa room is separated into smaller, more private massage rooms with cute curtains! They give you a tea infused hot foot soak to get you relaxed and will use massage oils if requested on the body/foot massage. I'm always so relaxed when I come out of here. All they do is light rub your face, your arms, rub your feet, and then tell you to flip over and rub your back. Came here one night with friends after having a meal nearby - my first time for a foot massage! Two in our party were more familiar with the foot massage venues and discussed details with the desk. There were fortunately 6 beds open in one room, so we were all able to go in together. The room is dimly lit, and relatively quiet with peaceful music. Most of the "noise" is the masseuses talking with one another, and it did sound like there were louder voices in a room nearby. I did not realize the foot massages in fact treat much of the rest of your body as well. Though, given it's an hour long, I was curious as to how someone could massage feet for an hour, haha. We lied back on the beds with a blanket (still clothed) while our feet were soaked in hot water (it looked like they added a tea bag of something as well?). He started on my head and scalp, then moved onto my shoulders...arms, hands, legs, feet, back. Particularly on my feet and legs, the massage was very intense - I have certainly never had my feet massaged that deeply before. Overall, I enjoyed it, and the price was very good, considering they actually work on more than just your feet and it's an hour long. As someone else noted, they do ask for a $5 tip. My wife and I have been going to Joy Foot Reflexology for a few years now and have been satisfied. However, the other night we decided to try Eastern Foot Spa and instantly fell in love! We wanted to go again a few days later and when we called them at around 7:30PM, they said that they didn't have any availability until at least 9PM. Granted, it was a Saturday night. Disappointed, we decided to give Canyon Foot Massage a try since for some reason Joy was not picking up after we tried calling them at least three times. The girl who answered the phone at Canyon was very friendly and professional. We made our appointment and were on our way. The first thing we noticed upon arriving was that Canyon, while bigger than Joy, was much smaller than Eastern. But to be fair, Eastern is VERY big. Soon after arriving we were led to our room by our masseurs. Unlike Eastern, we were not offered to change our clothes, which I never knew was important until recently. Both of our masseurs were very good, probably the best we've had in a while. Our room was a bit warm until I asked them to check the AC and soon it got better. The first few minutes there were some people chatting loudly either in the hallway or the room behind ours. I assume they were the employees. My masseur got upset and apologized and said he'll be right back to ask them to be quiet. I thought that was nice of him. While I appreciated that I walked in about 10 minutes after 9 and they agreed to take me, the rest of my experience was lacking. The environment was relaxing and the music was nice. The guy who helped me though was awful. The foot rub was mainly 5 minutes. The rest the time was a "body massage". I'd just recently had a massage so if I had known what I was actually getting I would not have done this. However, I thought, "oh well I guess a massage couldn't hurt and he's already started.." Long story short, he was WAY too rough. Used too much pressure. I asked him to let up some but still the pain was bad enough to where I had to bite down on a towel. By the time I got home I had gone from just fine pre-"massage" to a pain level of 7 on the scale of 1 to 10. I had to put icy-hot patches on my shoulders and back to relieve the pain. The next day I was still quite sore and felt like I might have bruises. The receptionist was very nice and yes it was only $20 for an hour of work but this was a terrible experience. Great value place! Kelly did a mixture of differ types of massage techniques. I would recommend doing a body massage instead of foot because she was so much more intentional in working out painful spots during that time. I recently had a baby, and my body still aches. I had been here 6-7 times before but my visit the other night will be my last. This is the 2nd reflexology place I've tried in Houston and although I love the idea of easy, cheap massages in between treatments from an actual LMT, it seems hard to find a place that has good business practices. This place was recommended to me and I kept coming for awhile because they speak decent English at the front counter; you could walk in OR make an appointment; they were usually enough people working that if you didn't make an appointment you wouldn't wait too long; and they changed towels between customers so seemed cleaner than I heard some places were. I would usually make an appointment on my way out the door so it was the best of both worlds - I wouldn't be on a specific timetable but also wouldn't have to wait in the lobby when I arrived. I didn't like that parking at this shopping complex was always very scarce but at least they had a free parking garage; and quality of massages were all over the board, sometimes not very good and from someone whose hands reeked of cigarette smoke. But for $20, you can get what is essentially a full body massage, in a communal room with your clothes on. Most people tip $10 so you're outta there for $30 for one hour. Pretty good. But unfortunately, the actions of one employee made sure I won't return. It was July 3rd, a holiday weekend, so apparently they were so slow and desperate for business, they thought it would be okay to act unethically. I made an appointment shortly before leaving the house and to be fair, I didn't tell the Front Desk when I called or when I arrived what services we wanted but I always get the same thing and I think most people do because they didn't even ask me either time we spoke. When we arrived, they led us to the communal room and we told them what areas needed the most work (no head or face for me and lots of foot work for my brother). If you're paying for a service, there shouldn't be any problems with asking for what you want within reason. But then the lady masseuse asked some question we couldn't understand - "half foot, half body" or something like that? The 4 of us couldn't understand each other so I kept repeating we wanted The Special, the 60 minute "foot reflexology". They did the first half the same as they always do then halfway through, they led us to a room in the back. This was not at all like my previous massages so I started asking again what was going on and telling her what services we wanted and she kept repeating, "It's okay, it's okay" so I assumed that meant they would alter the massage and pricing accordingly since they hadn't done the second half any differently yet. The other weird thing is that we think SHE KEPT ASKING US TO TAKE ALL OUR CLOTHES OFF, EVEN THOUGH THEY PUT ME IN A SMALL ROOM WITH MY BROTHER. Don't assume a man and a woman together are a romantic couple! We also could've been platonic friends, co-workers, whatever. And, I'm not getting naked when there's a major language barrier. In the movies, that's always immediately before someone wakes up to find their kidney has been stolen or they've been sold into sex slavery. Terrible, awkward, very inappropriate assumption to make. So they finished the second half and other than being in the private room, nothing seemed different than the massages I usually get. But when we checked out, they charged us $30/person/hour instead of $20. LADY, IN ENGLISH, "IT'S OKAY, IT'S OKAY" DOESN'T TRANSLATE TO "JUST SHUT UP BECAUSE I'M GOING TO KEEP GIVING YOU AND CHARGING YOU WHATEVER I WANT." I paid what they requested without complaining because it wasn't worth the aggravation of trying to make myself understood but THESE PEOPLE TOTALLY RIPPED US OFF. I don't care what your native tongue is - Vietnamese, Russian, or sign language - as an employee and business owner, you have an obligation to at least speak English well enough to adequately communicate with customers. If she was having problems, she could've brought the menu to me and I could've pointed at the item we wanted. And if you're using the language barrier as an excuse to deceive customers and charge them higher prices, shame on you. Either way, I'll never be back. read more

Their prices are great. $20 for an hour of reflexology versus the standard $25 that you find in most places off Bellaire Blvd. If you go when it's busy, the customers can be extremely noisy and obnoxious. The customer service is lousy . Often when you book an appointment you arrive and the therapists are busy . This manager Roy who books the appointments has no respect for people's time. He does not call or text you to let you know that they can't keep your appointment or that they are running late . This has now occured to us 5 x and is not acceptable . Basically what occurrs is that They will book an appointments for you but if someone walks in they will give your spot away without a care in the world all to make an extra dollar . They think this is the best way to make money but all is does for loyal customers is piss them off . It is the worst thing they can do to those of us that go regularity. Eventually they will loose business if they keep this up . This is brutal customer service. When you mention something to the manager Roy he does not seem to care or perhaps he just doesn't understand English . What ever the case this level of customer service is incredibly disrespectful. Canyon has good therapists but it could stand to be disinfected with some Amonia or bleach every so often . When they first opened it was clean but now when you walk in it doesn't smell very good at all As loyal customers we will likely stop going here because of these issues . This massage is so good its like torture with a smile. I had a good experience the first time I was here. Ambience music and spa-like quality. My two friends and I were satisfied with the treatments we received. Except the guy was too rough on my friend which I dismissed because I thought my friend was being whiny. The second time we're here were nothing short of robbery and abuse. I received "the guy" treatment. It was painful and it brought tears to my eyes. I was pissed when the hurting continues after I said the magic words: "it hurts" twice. The pressure was too great I didn't get a chance to scream for help. So when we proceed to pay. This place is heaven. I have long term chronic pain-my knots have knots. What a wonderful god send that my manager sent me here. I come at least once a week from across town. Coming from someone with major sports injuries, I'm no stranger to deep tissue massage. I've used 5 ppl here. Jing is so good, that sometimes I tip her more than the massage even costs. I can't remember the last time my body felt pain-free. I almost want to cry from the intense release. She can even get my joints that lock to loosen up-chiropractors can't even do her magic.
