World famous cream puff! Came here for brunch and also got some of their pastries to go. We got the loco moco and loved it. The coco cream puff was my favorite, followed by the matcha a close second. It was a short 15 min wait for a table when we were there and restaurant was very busy, though they turn tables pretty quick. Will return again!

    BLT! 5 stars

Best BLT I've ever had. Great tasty bacon. Poi donuts were amazing! I liked plain cream puff with custard more than coco puff.

I love going to Liliha bakery with friends and family. I always get their oxtail soup and I love it I could probably eat 2-3 bowls of it lol Service was great and the ambiance gives that family restaurant feel to it.

I loved my experience from beginning to end! Our server was very polite and attentive. The manager looked professional and well dressed. The butter rolls were so good. I had to order another one. The raspberry jelly was incredible!!! The Waffard was amazing was both crispy and light and fell apart perfectly in my mouth. It didn't feel heavy. The cream was delicious. The white whipped cream had a coconut taste. I enjoyed my corned beef hash as well. It wasn't too salty. Everything about my brunch was delicious and I would come back again. As a matter of fact, I'll be back for my birthday!

Whenever my brother comes home to visit, we always make sure to hit up Liliha Bakery. One of those comfort food locations that he always wants to visit. I personally like this location better than others because for one the location is closer to where I live and the parking situation is easier. There's always a wait to get in, but they make it easy for you to check in. There's a machine where you type in your name, phone number and the number of people in your party. My only wish is that it would tell you how long the wait is so you know whether you should just stick around or go for a walk around the shopping center. Luckily the wait wasn't very long when we arrived, so we were seated within about 5 minutes of arriving. Our go to orders are the Smoked Pork Belly and Kimchi Fried Rice. There's never a need to look at anything else because these two items are always a win! The smoked pork belly used to come with eggs, but I guess it doesn't anymore. He was also eyeing out the Mac Nut Waffard because he has had that and thoroughly enjoyed it in the past. My brother can eat, so when he is able to leave a restaurant feeling full and completely satisfied, you know it's a winner. Liliha Bakery did this for him. We've always had a great experience here, which is why we keep coming back.

Met a friend for breakfast at nine in a Friday. We were seated quickly because there still a lot of open tables. Our server was great, efficient but still took time to show aloha. She didn't rush us since we were catching up but was right there when we were ready to order. Brought our yummy basket of signature grilled butter rolls and their special jelly quickly. YUM! Love these, warm, crispy, buttery, I look forward to having these every time. She ordered the roast pork loco moco eggs over way and I ordered the smoked pork belly loco moco eggs sunny side up. My friend told me LB has excellent multigrain rice, and since I'm not a big fan of fried rice in my loco moco I was sold! We both got the multi grain rice. It was perfect with the loco moco. Gravy went well with it, rice was cooked to perfection, not too hard, and both texture and flavor was great. Good choice! Our dishes came soon enough and both our eggs were cooked exactly as ordered. My friend ate every bit of the roast pork, eggs, and gravy, leaving only some rice. I had two large slabs of pork belly cooked to perfection, nice and crispy and of course not dry. Tasted great even without gravy, but I always enjoy LB gravy. Since it was a lot of food I took half home. I have another small meal! Our server checked on us at appropriate times, only thing I would have liked was a refill of my water. Other than that, we were taken care of well and given the space we needed to catch up. She even brought T air our containers without us asking! By 10:30 the restaurant was relatively full with diners all enjoying their meals. We were able to enjoy our conversation, restaurant wasn't too noisy so it was a great place for getting together. It was also fun to see desserts being brought out from the back ready to go up front. They all looked so beautiful and delicious. Will be back, of course! May try the roast pork loco moco next time. Thought I took a pic of each loco moco but did not seem to get one of my friend's roast pork loco. Oops. But did get one of mine.

Mushroom Chicken from Liliha bakery! First time trying this out and it did not disappoint!

Service was amazing. Waiter was wonderful once again. I loved how the inside of the restaurant was very bright but yet cozy. Plus the food ( mushroom chicken) never disappoints. Love the complimentary bread they give in the beginning while waiting for the meal. Love it !

Rating actually/ 4 1/2, stars. Went here on a Saturday at around 9am. It was crowded, but we got seated pretty quickly. We ordered their regular New York Steak (4/5) & their Miso Butterfish (5/5). The steak was cooked fine but not too juicy since a NY steak is usually more lean. I wanted to order their Prime Rib, but they start serving that around 10:30am to 11am. Bummers. The Miso Butterfish is a winner; full of flavor. Just watch out for any small bones. Also got their famous pancake which I forgot to take a picture of. Lots of parking at Highlands. Service was great as usual.

Today I came in to have lunch with 2 friends. There was a line and we were told it should be less than 30 minutes, we were seated in 15 minutes. I had the miso butterfish and it was tasty, moist and delicious! Our server Rowena was very attentive and professional. Each Liliha Bakery has a different style but they all are clean and bright. I love that everyone helps each other!

Now, I've only had cream puffs and cookies from another Liliha Bakery location, so I was aware of the reputation and popularity of Liliha. This time around, I finally had the opportunity to give their breakfast a try, and I'm so glad I did. This Pearl City location if fairly big, so here's some of the deets: / Parking \ Large parking lot that's part of a shopping center. Should have no issues finding parking. // Dining-in & Service \\ The dining area looked fairly clean for the most part. They've got plenty of seating. Mostly tables for four. As for service, I didn't have any issues as well. Our server was welcoming and helpful while taking our order and coming back to check on us. /// Menu Items & More \\\ ~ I went straight for the jugular and ordered the Ox Tail Soup ($27.95), and yes I know it's not breakfast but I had to try it. I mean, it's part of their Daily Specials. It came with purple rice and minced ginger which was so good! The broth itself was clear and delicious as well. The tails, well they were tender and flavorful as well. I'd probably order this again even though it's pretty pricey. So glad I had leftovers too! ~ I had a cousin that killed the French Toast ($14.95), I mean they used their sweet bread. Something I wasn't expecting. They were large pie shaped pieces. ~ Another cousin had a Loco Moco with Fried Rice ($19.95) in which she had to take half of it home. While a niece of mine had the Kim Chee Fried Rice & Eggs ($20.50), only she enjoyed it but never finished her leftovers at home. She did say she really like it though. ~ Oh yeah, and those dang addictive butter rolls! Holy crap they were deathly good! Buttery as hell! Butter all over your fingers! I can easily eat more than one, but for health reasons I did not lol. //// Overall \\\\ To me, this Liliha Bakery location was on-point with everything! The service was cordial from hostess to server, the breakfast was belly filling goodness, and you cannot leave here without getting a cream puff or a bread roll. Yeah, I cannot wait to come back here again!

Not just dessert. I've checked in here a few times but only for dessert. This is my first dine-in here. The restaurant name is an Hawaiian staple so why not have a Hawaiian staple dish? Good old regular loco moco with sunny side up. Ok I upgrade to fried rice but hey it's still a staple. Ono, ono, ono. Some people might complain that there was too much gravy. No way, you can never have enough of this delicious gravy. I love covering each patty bite with it. And who doesn't like watch the yoke ooze slowly on to the gravy? Overall four stars. Good meal with good service. Plenty of seating and after your meal take a dozen poi donuts to go.

The first thing I must say is that the bread is soft, not too sweet and good. The cream in the coconut bread is light, fluffy, not overly sweet and the whole thing together was a rather positive experience. I had a few words with the lady behind the counter and she said that they're super busy morning time. Of course, without zippys next door, they got all the baked goods business. Every morning, without fail, people gathered outside waiting patiently for pastries. No flashy signs. No gimmicks. Just quiet consistency. That alone intrigued me. By the second day, my mind was made up. I'm an early riser, so the plan was simple: go on my usual morning run and arrive before the rush. Japanese culture and craftsmanship have long fascinated me. Through close friends with family roots tracing back to Japan, I've developed a deep appreciation for the culture -- the discipline, the rituals, the precision, and the respect for process. There's a beauty in the intentional pace at which things are done. Nothing rushed. Nothing careless. This bakery embodied that philosophy perfectly. The space itself was small, modest, and aromatic. No overdesigned interiors. No influencer bait. Just the comforting smell of fresh bread and butter hanging in the air. Some bakeries hide behind elaborate architecture and presentation, but this place understood something more important: when the product is exceptional, the product becomes the attraction. The pastries ranged from playful and charming to elegant and refined. The Salt & Butter bread was an instant staple -- savory, warm, and impossibly light. The dough practically dissolved like air. Thankfully, nothing felt overly heavy, because I completely lost control of my ordering strategy. The Kobo Kuma -- a soft bear-shaped bun filled with homemade vanilla bean custard -- was perfection. Equal parts cute and comforting. The Cinnamon Roll was solid, but the Haupia pastry completely stole the show. For those unfamiliar, Haupia is a traditional Hawaiian coconut pudding found throughout Polynesia. The flavor here was subtle yet lingering, delicate without disappearing. The kind of flavor that quietly stays with you long after the last bite. Then came the Blueberry Danish -- beautiful, buttery, and perfectly sweet. I didn't even make it to the savory options this time, which honestly just gives me another reason to return. And I absolutely will -- whether back here in Hawaii or perhaps at one of their mainland locations in Los Angeles. Some places become popular because of hype. Others because of quality. This bakery earned its line.

I tried their salt & butter bread + a pastry that was filled with vanilla bean custard. IT WAS SO GOOD AND SO SOFT! I also got their banana matcha-- BOMB! My sister was in town and wanted to try Sweet Corner Cafe. I was apprehensive at first because of…read morethe location which could be categorized as hidden. Its location was a mystery and the way the food disappeared off our plates was the magic. We were met with love and we were served love in our to go containers. We ordered house fried noodles, orange chicken, house fried gyoza, vegetarian spring rolls with sides of white rice and various, delicious tea drinks. I have never had bacon in my fried noodles before and I know bacon makes most things taste better but this was truly the cherry on top. I loved the noodles. I love thin noodles like angel hair pasta and finally I've found a place that serves a thin fried noodle. It was delicious. The orange chicken was hot and tasty and we didn't get any fatty pieces which made it perfect!! That's huge to my family. Speaking of which, I have a big family we're talking 8 people and the portions at this place were delightfully generous. You might be buying dinner today but you'll likely have lunch for tomorrow too! I don't know what they put in the drinks but I am hooked. My goodness! Iced-Cool Liquid happiness for my tongue, throat, stomach and soul. I was upset when it was gone. I'm still upset. This place is truly off the beaten path but worth the effort to find and dine. Drive directly down the alley when you see the Sweet Corner Cafe sign on the corner(keep your eyes peeled). Go all the way down, you'll be able to turn around and there's parking along a building.
